The trick with the 458 Gr3 is that you must „steer“ it more with your Throttle and brake inputs. Actually I almost don’t use much steering with the wheel itself, it’s weird but once you get the hang on it, it’s a blast to drive.

I want to master it so bad. I can feel the pace in the car but always over do the steering input. I'm on a T150 and don't alter the standard rotation. I'll have some practice with it tonight because I won't be racing with the track line up lol

Argh! God damn that race has pissed me off!! :grumpy::grumpy:

I think I need to get into League racing again, I think the buildup, practice and setup work is what makes a result really gratifying...

I also haven’t driven any race today. My Back hurts so bad I just barely can move. But Trust me, practice with the 458, me for example practice almost 4-5 hours a day only on a single track. Over and over. The Ferrari is a monster. Actually I even saw an Ukrainian Guy in the Top 10 driving a 458 Gr3. I think it was MuzzleTod or something like that.

That's not a good start. Qualified 8th for Bathurst, do the warm up, I'm all set. 6 sec to go until race start, blue screen of death. Now to wait another half hour again. Why can't it start more often! Disconnects and crashes seem to be getting more frequent.

The races are badly staggered as well, do the :20 Brand's hatch, end right after the deadline for Bathurst.

I've just done 5 laps of Bathurst qually. I'm already down to a 2.05.2xx :) My best in the AMG was a 2.04.5xx so I'm pretty happy getting to grips with it. TCS kills it. I had been running it on 2 but took it off and it's transformed. Rotation is amazing.

Hope your back starts feeling better soon!!

Im quite happy with my performances in the Gr3 daily. Ran a PB of 2:01.765 in the M6 (can't seem to get to grip with other cars), and won 3 races. My DR has shot up by nearly 1500 points. Id love to do more races to keep upping my DR but I don't have anymore time unfortunately.

Thanks mate, I appreciate that. But, there’s one good thing about my screwed back. I convinced my Wife that I need something healthier to drive with, as i‘m not able to work for the next days. No work no Money. So she gave me green lights in buying a Playseat Challenge. Hehe. No pain no gain, right?! :D
BTW, your times on Bathurst are very good, consistency is the key.

A 2.01.7xx is rapid. Congratulations

I am in love with that 458 Gr4
I tried first last week on Lago Maggiore race and again today at Brands Hatch.
Managed some great races on both.
And the engine sound is amazing!
Just have to treat her as a spoiled lady, don’t be rough on her, be easy, give her what she wants, never too less and never too much!

Can’t say the same on the Gr3 one, I’m still training her to respect me a bit more...

It makes sense if he's just trying to win races. Try your best, can't win, bail out at the finish to make the next race easier. Finishing in 3rd will make the next race harder. Only wins count for the achievement, podium finishes make winning harder. If you're not first, you're last. That's how it works in game logic! My driver even looks utterly disappointed with me after an excellent clean race, moving up a bunch of places from last in a very tough room, gaining DR while finishing mid pack. Just skip the end scene, I can't stand my mopey driver anymore!
He was protecting 2nd place... ended up coming 8th after spinning out.

LOL about your disappointed driver!

Updated with screens from my replay... I think tyres are a must having looked at the state of everyone else’s... but as you can see, the game totally screwed up people’s positions on my screen... until we cross the line...

This happened to me on Nurb GP on the weekend... twice consecutively and with an Italian driver. May have even been the same user, looking at the name.

Hopefully better than yesterday's!

Speedway is basically a non-event, everyone ends up either crashing or going over the line in a pack of 7.

I don't mind Brands Hatch but it's not my best circuit.. there is so much sand that I go too cautiously into the corners, through fear of leaving the track and getting stuck.
Bathurst 10 laps in Gr. 3... erm just no.

FFS.

And Race A is the X-Bow on Dragon Trail?

Interlagos Gr. 4 or 3?

Sad to say, but I now have more victories in this car than any other in the game. :boggled:

Don't think I've ever driven it myself. Don't really like those short lap/s races, get banged about too much.

That's race B and it's the reverse track.

Ohhh, Dragon Trail II, that is my favorite track, I see myself racing a lot today!
How hard is the X-Bow to handle compared to the Alfa 4C Road Car we had a few days ago on Dragon Trail II?
The Alfa I was able to handle (barely... with CSA set to weak), Gr. 3 is pointless without TCS for me tho, tried a few laps on Bathurst yesterday.... completely pointless... maybe I need to do 1000 laps on Miyabi in a Gr. 3 without assists first....
