This week huh. Refuse to drive FF cars.
Did race b 6-7 times tonight. Started out as B 99. Was rammed every single race. Started either 3rd or 5th each time and never finished better than 11th. Now at C 53. At first I got penalized when others used me as berm etc. Then when I decided **** it and went for revenge on every single bastard that touched me, I got no more penalties :0

Finished with two clean races to feel good but how does one feel good after being rear ended so hard I almost left the planet and end up in the back anyway. Just wish they would punish contact that make opponents lose time more severely sometimes.

I was clearing out some stuff from my computer and USB drives, when I found a video I recorded way back in the day, when I was C/S. :D I recorded this part, and have no memory of what the league on the very far right was. Does anyone remember what it was?

Nice find, I didn’t have GTS back then. It kinda looks like it says Polyphony Championship, Does that ring a bell?

You know I might try a few ff laps at Autopolis. I was pretty quick at Panorama in my purple sparkle hooker car.
Car has a ton of power and it is super easy to suffer wheelspin.
Gotta use tcs3 lol (couldn’t resist, but it’s true)
Ff cars with power are tricky. Once you get a better hang for them though they are fun, just different...

Help me out here. Am I right? Is this divebomby and dirty or am I just being butthurt? I'm 2/3 lap away from my first victory and this happens. After getting divebombed T1 by two Brazilians and overtaking them to take back first and holding it for two laps, this happens. :banghead: The way I see it, I didn't leave him an opening to exploit he just rammed me out of the way. This is the type of thing that the penalty system should be for.

It is definitely a bit of a dive bomb. That is just looking at how far back he was. Not the worst we have seen though. There is no way he keeps the position or makes the turn fast enough to challenge you without using you as a bumper. Had similar type passing there myself recently, people just using the penalty system's lack of punishment to play rough where they shouldn't. Best you can do is hang in there and keep going. PD doesn't seem to be pushing hard for clean driving.

Which is funny considering that they make us watch a sportsmanship video and have clean racing bonuses.

You wish. Last time I got slaughtered in SR last week 1 race at Fuji, and got back starting mid pack anyway as it was happening to everyone.

I did have it, for what it’s worth. Got divebombed by a the 4th (!) place starter and punted the first corner. I took a penalty trying to get back on to the track, and then had to slowly pick my way back through the pack. Ended up finishing 5th.
:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Hopefully I can get it back to S for FIA tomorrow.

Edit: I had it because I was the only asshole with a B DR in a room full of C/D hahahaha. This is what happens after a couple ****** days of racing. In the B rooms tonight, my time was good for p5-8 or so.

There was an opening, but it wasn't a full car width. To make it stick he should have gone partly on the grass and taken the risk of a short cut penalty. It's the sort of gap that people frequently lunge at. If possible if you know there's someone very close behind, you need to defend the inside more tightly. It's the last lap, and people tend to do desperate things on the last lap.

Funny thing is that I intentionally decided not to defend but to run my normal line and see if I could open up a little more distance between us. I figured he was a bit too far back to make a move. Live and learn, I guess.

Managed to lose 24 SR in Race B. New record for me.

I’m virtually guaranteed to have the pole in the next race, haha.
Same thing happened to me. Two CRBs and then dropped 22 SR over the next two races. Starting below p10 seems to induce a blood rage in the pack.

Next race (at 77 SR) started on pole and won by 12s.

The FIA race tonight was something. Lots of bumping and late braking. Started 5th but due to car damage that was my fault I finished 7th. Always thankful for racers who don't know they have to use the medium tires. That 20 second penalty is a big help. Although I'm not sure how anyone finishes 7 laps at Le Mans on softs. :odd:

Well, the allure of Lago Maggiore was too much to ignore. I hopped on the alt account first in order to get a feel for just how ornery people were behaving. First race, some bumping & shoving, but the game only blessed me with a half second penalty for track cutting....even after giving out a revenge punt. I started eighth due to a bad qualifying attempt, so I qualified 2.5 seconds better & landed a pole. And...

This boosted my confidence in getting a good QT on the main account & might get some good racing in. I set a quicker time on the main & landed a 2nd place start (:irked:). This was a great race, probably one of my best. It had everything, leaders giving away the race, great pacing, 2nd place fighting to get the lead back. This may be the most exciting race I've had in the game.

Just call me the Snake Charmer.

Same here. Had not played Sport for a month, hopped in with 1m 30s of qualifying in which I also had to change the mode of the TV as it was on Animation and was disgusting. Anyway, started last, finished fifth with a "Clean Race" star in the total wreckfest around me.
There are some tracks that just work.

While I am enjoying the challenge on race C I am up against it tonight. Keep getting mixed in with a pack of drivers who have a faster qualifying time but are all over the place during the race. Basically forming a blockade. I am going nuts trying get past them but do it clean. I get a penalty when they crash in front of me, or bounce back across the curb on me. So no matter what, when we get to the straight I have to serve and they get back ahead.:banghead::banghead:

And had people try to take it 2 wide at flugplatz twice now, just getting halfway beside and hanging it there . Have backed out once and wrecked the first time as I thought they would back out instead. Ugh. Enjoying getting to grips with the car even though my results are:censored:.

Edit: Did 1 more race, drove like hell, no penalties, beat the guys that had been driving me nuts. Even had a great 1 lap race with another driver, very clean. I screwed up the very last corner running a hair wide and he got the inside and was beating me in the drag to the line. Then he backed out? I said screw it, they earned the spot. Raced me hard but clean, got the position cleanly through my mistake, so I locked it up and gave it back. Stupid for my DR but good for my head.

A 911 RS at Nordschleife was too tempting so after a 3 month break I hopped back on for this weeks race C.

Took some time to get back in the groove but I'm loving this combination. The racing is close and clean.
Had some fantastic races on Monday and hope for more of the same today.

Racing as R4M_Shadow_V (NOR) in EMEA and IC_Wiener (CAN) in the Americas.

See you on track.

Again, a different WRX. Watching it from behind, it's got the handling. I was reeling it in towards the final laps. Had that Genesis covered with acceleration and top speed. Even when I was being extra cautious at a couple of hairpin turns, the Mustang puts the power down loverly.
