I only had 2 races at DR C and they were loads cleaner than the DR B races.

c’est la vie. Brands Hatch is a new track for me, so ran some circuit experience there tonight. Struggling to put a full lap in the R8 without getting the tires off and losing my **** completely. So narrow compared to most of the other tracks.

Revenge is the way of the Sith, good for you.

I let the anger flow through me. It has been the balance of my Force.

Good lord this new penalty smash and bash system is making people paranoid. All civility is out the window now. It is getting more sad by the day. Had 3 dirty races and 2 clean so.not all bad though. If you can clear the pack it seems to eat itself and give you space.

I was fortunate enough at the start of the week to get ahead of the pack & avoid the chaos. But, with every passing day, the anarchy rules with an ever tightening iron fist.

246 races and 25 wins here. The stats are misleading though, because I’m either pretty decent at a track or I’m the worst with very little in the middle. I end up getting most of the wins as I’m moving up the DR ranks after a few rough weeks, haha.

450 races, 32 wins combining both accounts. I also have my solid tracks where I tend to make myself look good while other tracks I look like a complete rookie.

Yeah, there is a guy I have been matched with seemingly permanently in race A who is absolutely filthy. He is very fast, QT down in the 1:41 range, but was punting everyone.

Even if this driver is a one lap wonder, they have enough car control & pace to effectively drive away from the field at that QT. I have a hard time believing that he/she is a rambling wreck in the race. They shouldn't ever need to bump anybody.

1 have 12 pole pole pisitions with only 7 wins lol out of 172 races.

I did manage to cut some serious time from my Suzuka qualifying tho!! I put in a 2:00.92x. Which is number 327 in America right now. Optimal is a 2:00.6xx but I don't think I'll drop anymore before the switch.

Once you get familiar with it, you will find Brands has a nice flow to it, and is a lot wider than you think. The corners that catch most new to the track out are probably Westfield and Sheen's because they are kinda blind. During the race, T1 can be a lot more chaotic, because the track is wide, but the line to stay out of the sand is not.

I might have run into the same guy actually. Guy has like a 1:41.7 time and gets him to around 4th, then plows through everyone in turn 1 and anyone who gets close after that he forces off track or plows off track. If it’s him, he’s a one lap wonder for that time as I could easily catch him up by over nearly 2sec a lap in race after he punted me off. He makes a lot of little mistakes that cost him time.

Awesome! This player got the Supra in the top 10. I knew it'd be a weapon in the right hands. It's got plenty of torque and handles well. Next races at Brands Hatch will be good. Hoping to see more Supras on the track.

I can assure you the dirty driver I have had in race A all week is dirty by choice. Has made plenty of clean passes, but reacts to any attempt to pass them by running you off track sideways or simply punting you next turn. Also if you don't give them the preferred line and contest a pass they punt. They made their choice and are now having their desserts shoveled back to them.

Edit: Here is their SR graph. No one with a record like this over 800 races 'wants' to race clean. Can you spot when the penalty system was changed?

I suspect I'll be going in with my usual AWD assault, starting with the rexy and finishing with the Veyron :P.

For the last couple of months, I‘ve only been able to use my steering wheel and chair on the weekends. Since that time, I’ve kind of lacked the motivation to enter any races other than Gr.1 with the very limited time on my hands, and so I’ve fallen into the routine of mainly using the Daily Races to get my K-Score up, to see where I could realistically top out.

So far, it‘s gone from roughly 68 to slightly over 75, as I‘ve slowly weeded out the outliers.

This week was another good one, with a 1:59.8 at Suzuka & a 1:46.0 at Dragon Trail being more than good enough to beat my target times. A quick look at my qualifying history tells me that this was the first time I actually managed to beat the two-minute mark around Suzuka. Probably could‘ve eeked out another tenth with a more aggressive approach to 130R, but for roughly 100km of practice on each track, I‘m pretty happy with what I‘ve managed to do.

The Supra really is a lovely car to drive. I ultimately went to the RC F for my fastest laps, but managed to get the Supra down to a 46.5 for individual sectors. I suspect that for an endurance race around Dragon Trail, it would actually do really well. Doesn‘t slide around too much, offers very good traction on Hards, the brakes are good, and it could probably hang with the better cars in the top speed department while sitting in the slipstream. Perfect sleeper car! ;)

That's it. Signing off for probably a month after a night of 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Started at the back of pretty loaded A and A+ rooms all night. Every time I got towards mid field I got punted off the track. Was just disgusting. Can keep pace with them but can't take this level of total 🤬. :banghead::banghead::banghead:
I tried revenge and seriously I only really fixed 1 issue. Still spent that race next to last instead of getting punted all the way to last. I had plenty of good laps but just not getting a chance to race as everyone is simply locking the inside and pushing everyone outside straight off. I can't take it anymore as I just don't have it in me to race that way. Hopefully they have fixed this penalty garbage by the time I get back. I can not rave this way any more.

Did two very boring races at Suzuka. The first of them you can see here starting around 19 minutes:
Starting in P8 in the Porsche, having a GTR both in front and behind me. This was the situation in both races. The GTR was just so much faster on the straights, especially if it had slipstream as well. So we gained a few spots due to cars in front crashing out, but apart from it we followed each other until the end. Except in the video above I binned it on the last lap at the exit of the last chicane trying to get a run of the car in front. Damn.
As said, the next race was very similar. Again those two GTRs around me and following each other through the race. This time the GTR in front was crashed out by a car from the front falling back and the GTR behind me eventually got me, but still finished P5.

But with those races I got 1800 DR points and am now at an all time high of 47000, so it could be worse :D

Two races this morning. One B where I started p7 and promptly killed myself in the COD on lap 1 and 2.
Put me in p15 and a lonely run until lap 4.. I caught up to the last couple of racers, passed one clean, then one more, then follow one through the COD, passes him on the right side after it, so he flashes his lights and run straight into me in the final corner with no braking at all.
I ask him why he says "accident" I say no, he says "go have one Muppet".
I hope his parents takes his PS4 away.
No hard feelings, I already botched the race so just slightly annoyed.

On to race C, qualified with a measly 2:05:547. Started as p13 with door number 11.
Has a pretty uneventful race with all laps within .5 of my Qt. Just one guy that comes flying out of the pit on lap 7, right into my brake zone so I have to lock up not to hit him. It could easily have destroyed both our race. He went on to be p3, I ended up as p7.
Mustang Sally still serves me well.

I spy myself in that lobby.

Wasn't a very good race to finish the night off, was partially claimed by the chicane of death twice.

Really noticing the effects of the new penalty system with people pushing me off constantly, running me wide when overtaking etc. Although I think I need to work on my racecraft a bit, seems I've become a little rusty

Ahh, the name looked familiar. I tried to slow through the CoD while a car was ghosting, but it unghosted right when I caught it. I was wanting to pull a gap on that TT, which I did before then(videos are taking so long to upload). Oh well.

So I tried a few more runs on DT this noon and with one exception they were surprisingly clean. In total I gained about 2,100 DR and when examing the replay it felt fantastic that dirty drivers are being dealt with. I saw no occasion where a dirty driver gained anything; they did not get away.

I have one question though: I‘ve seen a GR Supra in this Group 4 race but Brand Central doesn‘t offer it. Was it available in the miles shop sometime ago?

Swedish flag

I checked yesterday evenings replays: no swedish flag to be seen.

It's 5 am local time when I woke up & decided to try to get back to 20K DR. O.M.G. It's dirty hour 24 hours a day now. Had some Lambo from our favorite country who was brake checking & side swiping cars off the track. He got me once, but I got him twice. :mischievous: Should have gotten him a third, because that's how karma works.

Had everyone expirienced the ABS to be turned off when the race starts?
I never turn it off, always keeping it as the game sets it.
In practicing before the race everything is normal, when i start the lobby my front wheels keep blocking
Its weird because i never raced daily races the last 6 months and in Fia races where i am consistant, never occured to me..

ABS bug. Only fix so far is during warm-up check the settings.

Last role of the fuzzy dice for the week. The Ferris wheel was spinning and the Japanese crowd was wild. I went in with the WRX after trying a bunch of other cars, none of which could beat or even match my Porsche time. I think I came close with the Aston, but couldn't thow a whole lap together at the pace I needed. I've done 3 Race Cs this week. Starting with the Beetle, try as I might I couldn't quite break into the 2:03s. According to PD, that was my new Gr3 record. Next up the Porsche, and I broke into the 2:03s. Tonight with the rexy, I broke into the 2:02s, which has been my goal for this week. That had me starting on the grid P3. Happy with that! :D

I seem to recall reading that doing warmup stopped some bug from happening, so I figured I'd give it a try. Race starts, we dash towards T1, and I finally manage to take the corner normally! Things were a bit awkward at the esses and the guy behind me passed. I was on his tail till we got to 130R. He slowed down a *lot* more than I was expecting, so I tapped him and he went wide :nervous:. The lack of racecraft (mine) continued as I managed to punt the next guy as he almost came to a complete stop at the chicane :guilty:. The thought to wait on the start/finish strait for them did cross my mind, but while I'm racing, I have no clue about the names. I don't even remember the livery. Sometimes I remember the flag and the model of car, but that's about it. I have to look at a replay to get the details .

I was comfortably in P2, till I messed up Spoon, ended up on the carpet and struggled not to spin out. I dropped to P7 by the time I got going again. I managed another lap, then spun out at Spoon :banghead:. I dropped back further. I managed to slowly creep up, then on lap 5 I think it was, I went too wide on the approach to Degner, I have no idea why, and touched the grass. Buggered me up for the corner, I ended up in the sand. Dirty tyres and back into the sand on the next corner. Down to P13. I got on with things and slowly clawed my way back. A few more unforced mistakes, but I stayed on the black stuff... or at least kept forward movement :scared:.

I get to the chicane on the last lap. The guy in front has had problems. I enter ok, but when I put my foot down to exit, which would have had me easily pass him... I found myself in 5th gear... so no punch out of the exit :banghead:. I crossed the line with 1/2 a car length overlap behind him for P6.

SR blue ...which is kinda dodgy considering what happened first lap . DR went up 500. Another day above DR 1.

Did two races B’s last night with the RC and F Type. I kinda prefer the RC in the race as it’s a little more agile which is great for mid corner adjustment.

Finished both races in 4th after starting 6th. Should have had a podium in both, had a guy push me wide final turn. It wasn’t super dirty but it was far from clean. Other he ghosted and unghosted as I went through him, they should really put a timer above a ghosted car to let you know when it’s going to unghost “3...2...1..” so we can anticipate it.

I’ve never been strong at dragons tail though, and they were great races so finishing 4th with great battles is more fun than a easy win.

My thoughts on penalties......in a solid room it can be great as now we can race door to door with light contact not destroying races. But some guys still ruin it by pushing you off line which they couldn’t get away with in real life.
