BTW did you watched to movie/documentary Ford vs Ferrari? (probably yes), but if not, then I fully recommend it, it's amazing! (it's in netflix)
Yes, and I thought it was pretty good.
So the price point of joining the race would be 5,5 million minimum. I think that would be a rather empty race, it at least one with a vast difference in Qt time and Dr rank
You do bring up a very good point.
Is PD even capable of this?
Yes they are most definitely capable. The better question is, "Can PD be bothered to not do a half-job at something?"

If you want to make money here it's either grinding in GT League ( no fun) or LH challenge. None of which involves human and therefore not what I want. I have been driving one and a half time around the globe but hasn't got much money anyway.

I’m with you. Racing AI is dumb.

I did buy the LH add on, but that Merc is awful to the point where I don’t like driving it, haha.

I'd like to see the Ford Mk. IV vs. Ferrari 330 P4 vs. Jag XJ13 (properly BoP'd of course).

This is what specially provided cars are for...

You can never go back to DR.E, but you can easily get to D/E if you stick to the racing line on Monza

What @RacingGrandpa said, back and forth to trigger SR Downs lowers SR by 2 at a time. Quitting takes another 5 SR.
Woo000h! Sweet doggie!

Now, to keep racing the 4C so I never win. ;)

@milehighmadd and @dlshearon you have to see these things wreck to really know they're true Dukes of Hazzard stuff. They roll and jump the islands. That's actually in a pit they built beside the local karting track where they hold the regional races. Had an old coworker ride as the ballast in one of those for a practice lap. Said you couldn't get him back in it for anything! Strangely for where I live, which is sort of a small town, we have those races, karting, off road truck racing, a velodrome and a World Cup level BMX track. Used to have a spot on the 2nd tier surfing tour as well as a dirt track for sprints about 45 minutes down the road. These country folk get bored and like to have ways to get outside and hurt themselves! (Edit: apparently we're up to 70k people, not sure I can call it a small town anymore:lol:)

Although I did just spend a week in Aurora visiting family so I consider I70 in winter about the same level of crazy.

And back to the daily races, don't rule out the Red Bull senior as it was Hards for the race when it was at Sardegna, it is good under full power but whenever there was any drop in speed and downforce it became a monster to handle. I'm actually more scared of the F1500 as I haven't ever driven it! I at least already know when the Bull is going to try to kill me, with the F1500 I'll be getting surprise attacks:confused:

Started the evenings racing about 8pm. Expectations weren't high as it's Friday night.
Brands Hatch, I'm in the Jag surrounded by Porsches, starting P7 on mediums. I keep my nose clean and get the drive out of the corners, work my way up to P3 by L7 with a good gap behind, pit for tyre change to hard &... hit mediums again, bugger !
Long story short, end up P8 after several pit stops
Fun racing though, very clean from almost all involved 👍

It's a good kind of crazy with proper snow tires, but I do count my blessings the number of times safely making the trek from Denver to Vail/Beaver Creek going 80mph comfortably through 4-6" of snow on the ground just to make first chair before Vail Pass gets shut down. Colorado can be weird at times ... Sunday drivers in the middle of a weekday just lollygagging along and then it's a full-on NASCAR sprint to the finish at 5am for weekend warriors during ski season.

Entered Race C, forgot I set a time. Started on pole and tried to find a spot to do the reverse thing. Impossible, man.

Funnily enough, saw a player I've raced many times. Had a lower DR/SR as well. Must have gotten bored in A/S as well.

It's why I haven't had a resort pass since 2012; just stick with backcountry skiing at Berthoud Pass or RMNP... no crowds except for a few friends, a dog or two, and endless beautiful scenery. Also, beer tastes like heaven raining down your throat after putting in a long tour.
I used to live in Summit County, and many times Vail pass and Loveland Pass would both get closed at the same time, so people were trapped in between. I miss it. It's a beautiful area.

I spent 2 years working in the hotels in Beaver Creek, man I miss getting up late, catching the free bus and hitting the slopes so fast. Used to even be able to ride all the way to within 5 feet of our employee entrance.:sly:

Then I moved down here and had kids. Actually havent hit the slopes in about 10 years now:guilty:. Did get the kids up to Frisco to finally have a real snow experience though. So it was good. Forgot how terrible people are driving in the snow there. Granted it would be 100 pct worse here though, they had flurries once a few years ago and people were panicking about getting trapped away from home:lol::lol:. Man how I miss fresh powder in the trees mid week with nobody there though.

Used to ski with the telekooks at Beaver Creek. Wacky bunch but man do they know where to find powder two weeks after a storm has passed. And only fair to bring your kids back at some point and do the Minturn Mile followed by margs at the saloon.

Damn, that is an idea but they are going to have to learn. I did live with a long term resident there for a year and yeah, they can find powder nearly any day of the season. And yeah, such a beautiful place, except during mud season.

Yeah, I skied St. Marys glacier in August.
Whenever there was a full moon, I had friends that would ski Loveland pass at midnight. Not the ski area, the mountain. They got me to do it once. A friend with a Suburban dropped us off at the top of the pass, and we skied down through the trees, until we got to the highway, and our friend picked us up.

That's awesome. Ive yet to get full moon fever.

BTW - you see a guy in daily races with Colorado flags on his car as livery, that's me.
