Race B Audi R8, bb-4 works best for me
Race C, Megane trophy, I start with bb+2 and gradually move bb to front during 2nd halfof race
Good luck
Have fun

Sounds good I was on the right track with the Megane, Id been using that and then moving bias to rear as I went on as I found my front's wearing more and more..

But I did win 2 in a row last night.

R8 I just keep getting punted into Spoon on the second or third lap. And I'm trying to maintain my newly acquired B rating.

I managed to achieve 10 CRB's in a row at Suzuka, beating my main account's 9. Of course race 11 went pear shaped.
Alt is 2k DR behind main, but if I switch to main it'll turn into wreckfest
Have a theory that all the nutters are playing CoD battle royal, and long may they continue doing so

No, they are here - just have to start lower than 8th in Interlagos. Had 3 races ruined by idiots tonight. I feel like I can race today and went with the hope that maybe I can raise my DR a bit - I ended up losing 2.5k...

I have been a DR donor in the last 2 weeks - only decent results were the Group B and Suzuka in the Alfa. I am also getting frustrated by punters and idiots - I think maybe it would be the time to step back...

The fact that he got almost zero additional penalties for taking out 10 cars is why i dont do sport races anymore. Penalty system finally killed my desire to race. I just stick to my one regular lobby. That scumbag deserves to be publicly shamed.

It's not the penalty system. It's PD. We have no way to report this and even if we did, I don't think they would do anything about it. He/she should be banned for at least 30 days. I've only done 6 Race C's this week and they were all clean except for one. And I think he was in that race. If PD wanted to clean this up they could. But that isn't going to happen.

But you can. If people would report these users after the race as interfering with the race, then they can get banned with enough reportings

Trouble with that is that I often have to watch the replay to work out who was the culprit and by then the report option is not available. Also, in many cases watching the replay makes it clear that the car I would have blamed in race was not at fault, the infraction was caused by bad or dirty driving by a third party.

I tried a few races at interlagos from the back of the grid, I like the track but it can be a bugger depending on what you're up against.
Too much ambition and not enough skill seems to be the order of the day there. Think I have to credit Casey Stoner with that quote. :)

IMO, you shouldn’t be reporting players that you aren’t 100% sure are bad actors.

I doubt that works though. People been reporting behavior to no avail
I'm fairly sure that the reports go to Sony, not PD and that Sony don't employ enough people to even come close to checking all the reports. I'm not sure how they filter, but if it's by number of reports per "match" then most incidents in GTS will never get looked at.

Which is one reason why I often check replays before assiging blame, but that still results in no report at all even if I can identify a true reportable incident.

In order for the reporting system to work there has to be multiple players that report the same person, then it flags the race for review.

That would apply for player behaviour. I've reported offensive usernames or chat comments and had responses generally in the vein of "no offence detected", however I don't believe those reports are looked at by native speakers of English, simply run through the profanity filter. Pretty pointless approach if you ask me, as the profanity filter would have stopped them using those words in the first instance.

First, I would love to know how you know this.
Secondly, there is a certain European driver whose names begins with am "M" who I am sure has been reported by multiple people in multiple races. He is still racing to this day. The reporting system does not work. It may have worked in the games infancy, but not now.

After GTS banned a bunch of players last time around there was a lot of talk about how the system works. Since this isn’t an FIA race, there aren’t FIA stewards. Your best option is safety in numbers as every reported incident will not be reviewed.

About the 'fixed' connection issues...:odd:
Disconnected before a race began and disconnected during the next one tonight!

And I believe this is where all the post-race misconduct reports go:

Doesn't stop me reporting drivers in the vain hope something is actually done about them. I suppose it's a kind of catharsis.

Some random Suzuka ramblings from the cheap seats (DR:C...): I posted some sandbag Q times and ran a few races from the back- it was interesting. Some folks REALLY don't like being passed by the guy who Q'd at 2:16... Otherwise mostly fun, but still a few dirtbags on the track. I did see one guy finish with an SR:E after watching him hit everyone and everything for 4 full laps. The RS.01 continues to be my happy place, although late in the evening I ran a mid 2:03 Q lap in the 4C, followed by a P5 start and a P2 finish. The Old Guy finds the Podium!

I'm done for the evening, and I racked up a few more wins today at Interlagos. I blew my chance to race from the back on my alt, because in the pre-race practice I crossed the line and put down a time. Yesterday I didn't like the mid pack starts my 41.0 was getting me, so I did a few laps and did a 39.7, which is usually good for top 5. That was faster than my main account, so this morning I chased the top ghost for about 20 laps and got down to a 38.7, which for me, in the 4C, is probably within a few tenths of all I got. Anyway, my last 2 races of the evening were similar. I started 2nd and 3rd, got knocked back the first lap.(the 4c is light, and slow to warm the tires), then fought my way through, usually taking advantage when someone gets a little wide. Once in front, I got a gap and built a lead to the end. Last race I was 7 seconds clear of a porsche, who was 16 seconds clear of 3rd, and the other race I was something like 12 or 14 seconds clear. I think that one there were bashers that killed it for everyone else. I did a FL of 39.7 on lap 7 there. Oh, and they were on different accounts.

I noticed something. I just got my 100th win! Ha!

Had a couple of races on race C, got some nice clean races in, repaired my SR and got a bonus of upping the DR somehow. Poor guy who was on pole my first race had a great qualifying time but couldn't keep the speed through the race and when I was in P2 I was running him down quickly. Go to race 2 and he is on pole again, but in front of a pack of very vast A/S drivers. Poor guy was down to p6 by the time he spun out off the track on lap 2. Ended up p12. Meanwhile I dawdled cleanly and uneventfully up 2 positions thanks to people spinning out. No passes, no people passing me. Good lazy clean friday night. 👍

@Groundfish remember you asked if the SR99 rooms were cleaner?

Does this answer your question?

He tried to take me out but saw it coming and held my brakes longer. I did hit him by accident. I did see the chaos before my hit so I knew it was coming.

Edit: I think he was triggered by that 3 seconds and lost it. He was ok before this mess. He did get minor track cut penalties.

wow... this guy's having a lot of fun out there. That double take out was a class move

Damn but the Asia lobby for race C is fun right now.
Just had a great race where I was out of my league and it was non stop door rubbing with plenty of hustle, but every driver was clean and fair about it.
Don't know what was going on up front but the back half of the field usual poo fight was loaded with some classy peeps who raced hard but totally legit.

Okay, I'm ready for the next lot of races. Any predictions?
