Thanks. Not spectacular at all. 1.5s off the pace of super star.

I tried the NSX @ Willow, it was OK, not mega fast but once you get brakes sorted it feels pretty good around there.

Did a couple of B level races and it was a bit of a precession, so tried it on my main ID and got absolutely munted in 2 consecutive races (people coming back on track and not ghosting - even doing my best to avoid, no chance, just got swamped from behind).

SR rating has just been munted, now have to try and get back to 99 on Bathurst GR3.... today might be the day I loose my perfect SR :(

Had a few good races at DT last night aside from the awful matchmaking (up against SS mostly), but very clean which was good.

Horrible races for me today for the life of me I cannot get up to speed on Bathurst! Usually pace qualifying wise on big willow for me is good but I seem really slow at racing there, always seem to end up with -SR as I get barged past

I really like Bathurst so i might do some races tonight. I think starting top 5 is crucial to get away from the mayhem. When your racing some good guys it is one the best tracks imo.

I can imagine it is good but it'll take me hours to get used to it and run the times required for a top 5 start. I'll be well in the back on my pace and it'll be carnage there. One day I'll get to grips with it I think. ;)

I had 2 races in Willow Springs an hour ago. Surprisingly (after last days bad experiences) I was matched with fair racers, I enjoyed it. Second one was clear, the first was not, due to a 1s penalty - the usual one, we were turning side-by-side, left room to each other, noone was forced nowhere, just slightly touched while turning and accelerating out. Before and after that we were racing fair and it was a pleasure to drive with sportsmen. This means that fellow racers saved my day from PD's draft patchwork (called penalty system). Thanks all involved in that 2 runs.

Yes Willow was good this afternoon, except the one race where a 1 bar connection started behind me and promptly lag punted me off in T1. I started towards the back most races, made up plenty positions from people not being able to stay on the track. Those yellow flag people certainly earn their wages on that track.

Exactly my sentiment too. It has a nice flow and you don't slow down much.

Agree, I think that Gr.4 is a good level for that track. You can go full on in the long turns. Im just scared to slip outside because then it is over. Unforgiving....

Just saw a guy win on Bathurst with a no pit strategy, couldn't believe it!
I did it in the Viper, Merc and Vantage. If you know the track and can carry corner speed and keep good speed over the top of the mountain and down to forest elbow you can stay a gear or 2 high without losing too much time ran the first 5 or 6 laps on map 3/4 short shifting then can usually go to 1 or 2 using more revs for the last lap or 2.

Willow isn’t treating me as nicely as it usually does. I get off to really hot starts, climbing up from 14th to 6th, but then get hit with penalties from people swerving into me.

I got to run several races at Bathurst tonight. I ran in the Mercedes, Toyota, Jag, and Subaru. All were really great races. The last one was a lesson in target fixation as on the last corner I followed P1 into a wall after an entire race long battle with several position swaps. He beat me in getting turned off the wall and to the line. We were both pointing 90 degrees into the wall. Porsche acceleration be damned!!

Bathurst was great, yet just now I had the worst 2 races.

It began with the worst start ever, what the hell was this car doing in the middle of the road...

I ended up in the sand with a 6.8 sec 'shortcut' penalty. Reset and pull over at the start line to serve the penalty and let everyone pass.

Then I got stuck behind a car that didn't know his braking points. I brake early when following an unknown driver, yet not that early. 5 sec penalty twice, one I tried to evade him, second time he practically brake checked me in the last turn, no time to respond at all, way before the braking point. I guess in his defense, it was me taking out the distance markers at the start :/ And another 5 sec from someone deciding to serve a penalty in the middle of the mountain section right in front of me.

That dropped me from 99 to 82 SR. So next race I'm matched with a much lower room, starting 3rd. First I get bumped a couple times from behind yet luckily only 1 sec penalty. I make it into first and put some distance on the rest, thinking smooth sailing from here. Best to pit in lap 5 not to get near the bump happy drivers again. Then disaster strikes, I hit the pit wall on entry, stall just a second too long, reset on the straight. Can't go back to the pit, 0% fuel left, had to do a 4 minute 30 lap at 50 mph... Finished 14th... -1680 DR and only +1 SR that race from getting bumped.
I did get the fastest lap :/

Luckily there were 2 more races before the maintenance, both went great, back to 99 SR with a 2nd and 4th place finish. Yet check out this move:

It turned out he had lost connection, disappeared a few seconds later. Great way to handle lag! I got very lucky there not to get punted.

Sven you indeed are very unlucky a lot of times. But maybe you also drive a lot more than me.

How many hours you drive per week ? This would make sense to me why you encounter more of these bad situations than myself.

Does anybody know in how many hours (so please not the time) the new dailys will be loaded ? In 90 mimutes the maintenance should be ready. I never seem to remember when the dailys are changed.
