To the "gentleman" in the Peugeot GR3 at DT lastnight. You're a clown. I was taken out on the last corner of Dragon Trail and was practically driven off track by him. Ended up on the grass/dirt which then spun me as I tried to rejoin. End result, first to dead last, which is where I finished losing a whole heap of DR.

He even had the cheek to send me "congratulations" in post chat. This is DR:A SR:S. To say I was livid would be an understatement. The only saving grace was jumping into the next race, to be matched with pretty much the same grid and absolutely smoked him.

He didn't hang around to "chat" after that one.

I'll upload the replay of his "pro" overtake later for ***** n giggles.

I got dive bombed at turn 4 on DT last night, the other guy clearly got a rush of blood as there was no gap to go for, he whacked me so hard he spun as a result and I went on to win. To be fair he apologised in the chat afterwards so I tend to accept it and move on, besides I got all positive SR and no penalty (neither did he strangely) He was fast to be fair, he managed to climb back up to 3rd, if he hadn't been so rash he might have had me at a more sensible point.

Thanks

Night off for me then :yuck::D

I can certainly understand that. I'm so far off the pace at Panorama as I've never raced online there and learning with Gr3 cars wasn't going well, also that Hyundai in race A is just awful, only tried a few corners and that was enough to not bother anymore. After a quick go I reckon I could probably get on the pace at Willow Springs but that's far from my favourite track too, also having hardly raced there at all.

Pretty much same here.... haven't actually tried Race A but I have driven the Genesis the past two nights and I'm pretty sure it won't be any fun on BH. Mount Panorama is just SR suicide and I've never given the time to learn Willow... which will probably be what I do tonight.

First race up for me was Big Willow. Took the Viper for a spin. Big Willow seems to agree with it. I qualified 9th, but when the qualifying shut me down for the start of the race I was all lined up for a potential 5th or 6th starting position. Things kinda went downhill from there. The grid was a mix of DR/D and C. Some of the drivers treated it like a race, and some treated it like a game of bumper cars.

Lemme see. Started 9th, got up to 8th, ran into the desert by someone who used me as their braking point and rejoined 12th. Worked my way up to 8th, shunted off into the dessert again, down to 14th. Worked my way up to 10th, rammed into the dessert again, back to 14th. This was on the S and I was just a passenger, sliding sideways down the little hill with the box on top. Thank goodness for ghosting or I would have taken another 3 cars with me when I "rejoined" the track. Worked my way back up to 9th, but cut too much out of a corner and penaltied down to 10th.

Still have all my SR points but dropped a couple of hundred DR points

I like Panorama but I'm just competitive there, also I tend to avoid tracks with walled high speed sections in the faster car groups in Sport Mode (one mistake leads to carnage and a serious SR downgrade). Brand Hatch works better with faster cars imo, particularly on the GP layout, I don't find the full race tracks fun in the lower speed groups but then I'm a pad user so that makes it worse I guess.

Finally I just can't get on with Willow, I want to love it but every sport mode race I do there I end up in the dust somehow.

This. Race A is more fun on shorter circuits. Spending 2 odd minutes going round Brands Hatch, with it's huge sandtraps and fast corners, sounds like hell to me.

You can join us at some lobby racing later then :P

Maybe, or maybe not ;) I think you guys are way too quick for me anyway!
There were some obviously slower guys with us yesterday, too :D So that's a bad excuse :P

Well, I saw the words 'pirovac boy', 'mount panorama' and 'authentic settings' when I checked the lobby out yesterday

Also, I'm a bit worried about turning my playstation on tonight... I was just doing some laps on Miyabi last night then went to exit and got the blue screen and then the playstation froze and didn't do anything for 10 minutes, wouldn't eject the disc, turn off or open the game.. nothing. So I did a hard switch off then unplugged the cables. Worried that it crashed during an autosave :nervous:

We changed to N500 after that. I guess I'll open one later so I got the power of settings  We can do what you want if you join :p

My game crashes quite often or freezes, nothing has ever happened until yet :nervous:

Yeah, mine has crashed before but never caused the PS4 to completely freeze.... and given the amount of people experiencing full loss...

Whaaaa! Bathurst was a disaster! Started in 6th on a grid of 20. Bashed and battered down to 17th. The grid was comprised of DR/D and C with a lone B. I swear no one had any idea how to race at Bathurst with other cars cleanly. :banghead:

I got Top 10 on Race A today... That was totally a left-field since I don't know Brands Hands nor the Genesis :boggled:

Which is why I never run it in sport mode (or Nurb24, or Tokyo). Had great races at Bathurst in lobbies, which proves people can race cleanly, but in sport mode there are to many high rank players who quite frankly don't have a clue.

Banish these peasants from the high ranks please PD. High rank should = know what the hell they are doing.

Too many walls :)
Not too many walls. Too many people who can't grasp the concept that the track is not 3 cars wide at *any* point. People were just ramming and crashing their way through. My SR dropped from 99 to 92.

Sign up to a manufacturer in the FIA Manufacturer Series and you will get a free group 3 and 4 loan car :) you keep these until you change manufacturer so can effectively have them permanently if you don't change your sponsorship (which you can only do after the current season finishes).
@Robben Get the M4 in EU. Not yet drive it properly. The Q time is 1:17:4xx 1s slower than my TT in Asia. Raced two race b, came home 4th and 5th.

Willow may suits TT more but not M4:D More TT than M4 on grid.

Didn’t race in Asia but set Q time only. Broke my PB(1:17:xxx) at 1:16:699. May go faster but switched to EU for race. Haha:yuck:
