Had to try a no-stopper, that is not my recommendation. It worked well for most of the time but when a TT and a WRX came out of pit with fresh tires on lap 13 they thought that I was slow (I was, little) and promptly pushed me off the track to pass.
And then after the race they both sit in post and accused other racers of being dirty.
I'd think that if you are going to dish it out then don't complain when it happens to yourself.
I did do one punt on purpose yesterday evening. A guy in a TT pushed and showed every one and everything on his way forward including me.
When I caught up to him on last lap he was about to serve a penalty so I braked and stayed behind until last turn where I sent him in orbit. Instead of finishing 10 he finished DFL.

Good grandpa, good. I saw one or 2 from here out last night. I’m around 15-18k DR at the moment. I’m starting at the back, so if there’s a player who let’s say maybe ::beat up your daughter:: wink wink nod nod just tag them pre race chat-their name and 187...

Cool. I've finally raced with, and even beat, someone we (you all) know. Raced 'C' with him at 9:30 AM EST. Finished 4th just in front of him. He probably would have had me given a couple more laps. I also don't know why he let me pass him on the outside of turn 1 earlier on. He was guarding and I got lucky?

And I'm back after a long hiatus. Only raced twice in 'Sport' since the great week at LeMans. And those two times were nothing but a wreckfest for me, so decided I'd break with it for awhile. Didn't much care for the combo's since then either. But now there's Big Willow. Seems I like tracks where the cars get spread out and offer plenty of room to plan, then execute. 5 races so far, yesterday and this morning, 3 P4, 2 P5. And starting in the back each one, with 9 - 19 competitors. I may even be a 'B' driver by the end of the week. I have to take advantage while I can, because the combos next week don't sound as if they'll like me very much. I'm really, really bad at Bathurst, or as I call it, Mt. Paranormal. Because there are demons on that track.

By the way... I've driven the Megane, Viper and VW. Faster in the VW. And it's doable with 1 stop. The Megane was a disappointment.

Try the McLaren too

If memory serves me right, my tires was going and I knew you had fresher tires. I backed off a bit. I think that’s what happened. I raced a lot on both accounts this morning.

Not so fast with that excuse, lol. The pass was at the start of lap 8. In the last turn of that lap, I went half off the left side. Since I was almost there anyway, I went into the pit. (was going to go in then anyway) And since we were both in the VW, our tires had to be about the same shape, lap 7/8. You went in, I believe, end of 10.

No. I think you were just scared of me... lol. Just Kidding!!! A good race though. I followed you 3 or 4 laps, while you battled a Viper. Learned quite a lot. And... Also in turn one, while you battled that Viper, maybe lap 6 (7?), I came up inside you on the front stretch, and way to late into T1. But so did the Viper which he drove offtrack. (No. I didn't touch him) You got your position back, plus 1. So maybe I didn't learn as much as I thought...

Next time.

Now I see. I have the video and looked at it. I was too far outside and hit brake too early. I didn’t wanna accelerate too soon or I would have took you out. Good race.

Edit. I saw the Viper go out so I know you didn’t touch him lol

I saved the video too. My best race to date, I think. I'll watch it a couple more times, bask in my glory, then move on.

Run the circuit experience for quick money and cars.
Otherwise the LH DLC is good for monetising too

I've already hit 100% in the school, challenge, and experience. Now I'm working through the GT league. After buying the '64 Cobra Daytona, all that's left is to buy the Red Bull X2014/19 to finish pro and endurance. I'll take Pigems advice and re-run the Monza Gr1. And your advice, do it in the R92.

What the heck... I had 20M in the bank for to long anyway.

I have, for once, followed my own advice. Quit while you're ahead !
Entered a couple of races at RBR, did reasonably well in the DBR9, my choice for manufacturers this time around, however it was killing SR. Couple of races at Willow restored my SR. Once again I was using an Aston, spectacular off the line but losing in most other places to the TT's.
Switched to Suzuka & had some hard close races, only time I was out of the top 5 was down to my mistakes. I guess most people were wrecking Bugatti's in nations race, so it thinned the field out.
Win number 19 came my way
Started on pole  & held it to the end
Nearly lost it at one point looking at the following pack take each other out :scared:
Going to bask in my glory while trying to learn how to drive an Aston around Dragon Tail for the rest of the evening :gtpflag:

I haven’t played for a couple months or so. Did they do something with the brakes or is it just in my head? Thanks

@Pigems I saw the Veyron guy too. He wasn’t raging tho just now. Definitely dangerous temper.
I started last night stopped her again, made it up to seventh...Pretty fun race!
I got passed up pretty easily from a TT and VW that one stopped H-M from fifth.
I kinda like takin my chances and keeping track position.
This is just a really fun race. Good combo gr4 plus Big Willow.

Probably a bit lucky not to get penalised on lap 1 but managed to get out in front from 7th and stay there despite one of the Caymans who started 9th closing in at the finish. Starting to think that the Cayman might be the best car for the race.

Ran a race C, clean crowd, one slightly pushy driver. I let him by (he was faster than me anyway) and finished 4th or 5th. Enjoyable race for that, but spent most of the race in a gap between faster drivers ahead and slower behind. First lap and half was fun though as I didn't have time to set a qualifying time and started 2nd last.

Race A, also clean, also occupying a gap between faster and slower drivers, but binned Dunlop on the first two laps. P8 > P8. Can't afford to lose concentration in that race at all or I'm off track, despite how slowly everything seems to happen in that car.

I wish that were me. I had a great clean first race of the night. Since then I have been punted or crashed off lap 1 each race. And given a penalty for it each time. It sucks being in p8 or so after turn 1, and either at the top of the hill or the final corner just being killed, and penalized for it as well. I have had some good racing in there, but man, it is demoralizing having to spend 2 to 5 laps just to catch the next person on track because someone had to have my spot NOW.

Saw @Raptor013 on track, looking almost as rough as I was. He finished way better though:tup:

Had one more race, managed to survive lap 1, only to get pushed off trying to pass a viper, then have another 86 barge me off and get me a penalty. :banghead::banghead::banghead:
SR recovery attempt now. And it is horrible! Punting, ramming, lag and side swiping. :banghead:

Oh yeah, there it shows. SR drops 99 to 83, get killed lap 1, get penalty. Brake checked, SR down. Accidentally get hit when a slower driver wiggles on curb, SR down. Laggy D driver warps lanes mid corner, penalty. Down to 42. Umm. Time to crawl in a hole.

Got my 26th win in a good race at Willow:

Also shoutout to this guy who thought I crashed him when in reality, he had worn fronts and understeered out. After we pitted, he decides to catch me and wreck me.

Later I catch up to him due to him serving his penalty. On the home straight, I was behind him, contemplating revenge as he kept swerving to make sure I didn’t pass him. We get to T1 so I moved on the outside since he was on the inside...well he decided that revenge for me when he moved to my lane under braking and braked again, making me send him for a long punt and I didn’t hit him that hard lol. Here’s the video:
