I always seem to find myself in a little race on my own on the longer races, not quite fast enough (due to race fear usually) to keep pace with leaders, but fast enough to give myself a nice gap.

I still havent worked out this fuel thing, seem to have time to have a picnic in the pits!

that's usually how my races end up. it was like that in DR E and it's still like that for me in DR S, lol.

Anyone else have problems with sever synchronisation ? Just did a 1.31.6XX and the time wasn't saved - instead I got my old one which was 1.31.9XX....

kept having my qualy time wiped and started from the back of race b 3 times in a row... gt is pretty janky right now!

get highest raised position so far cause 3 people on front of me get penalty

And last race I meet my 2 local friend so I decide record the replay, and total I get 3 clean in row for now.

Not got a win for sometime, always get matched with all the fast ones! Although if there was a trophy for the number of times finished in 4th it would have my name all over it!!

I'm having an issue on my secondary account that I didn't have on my primary account. My "force feedback max torque" setting keeps resetting to the default...

Yes the new update caused this as well as the other problems.

On your other account have you changed your settings since the update? I have not had it either but then I have not changed it since the update as I reckon it could then reset to default, as plenty of others on here have all been complaining about this since the update and I'd rather mine didn't have this reset bug, as from what I've read you have to change it back every single race/qualifying.

No idea what's been going on with my daily races today but its not been good! 3 times I've been disconncted after creating room loading screen (never had a disconnection before), qualified with a good time for race B yet on load up I had no time registered even though my time would have easily put me on pole and started 14th, then entered race C, same happened again and started 17th. Worked my way up to a clean fought 2nd place just 3 seconds off the leader yet when I finished I had gone from a maximum 99 SR S to a 77 A !!! not one penalty, nothing!

On a slight note but has any noticed a lot of frame rate issues? Steering wheel in cockpit view seems to jump from quarter to straight sometimes?

Massacre on Interlagos as usual, people don't know their braking points for the life of them..

Dropped from 99/99 Sr straight to sr A in one race, guy that punted me out of 3rd place after zigzagging around on straights and ramming me out after I took him ends up 2nd with no punishment time, while I get 10s lol.

Guess I'm staying out of it today.

All them dc's will have lowered your SR rating like quitting does. It likely just didn't update until after that race, as the servers are not working properly going off what you and a number of others have posted, for example the crashing or the qualifying times not updating for ages, if at all.

Ouch, that's harsh for being disconnected, or even quitting for that matter! What strange decisions they have made in this game!

Yeah but my race was 100% clean, was never bumped into and hit no one - got the clean race bonus too.

If you scroll back few pages you'll see people getting clean race bonus still dropping sr.. How, I don't know, but it happens.
I also had races where I had blue sr rating but Kudos showed it actually dropping.
We're going OT anyway, there's already a topic about sr.👍

I just did my first race in Interlagos today. Clean? Not at all.

At least it's a lot easier to avoid trouble than in Tokyo. I started 12th, hit in T1 while slowing down for people hitting each other in front of me, made it to 8th from penalty servers, then gave up 2 positions to aggressive drivers to avoid getting hit.

I'm 44K DR, 99 SR, so not sure why I get matched with so many DR.B. I guess my qualifying time sucks too much

This last update has really screwed things big time, online for an hour now and not even had a race in the daily lobby, just keeps disconnecting from server when the race is about to start, so you quit, log in again and have to wait another 8 minutes or so to qualify, 15 mins later, starting grid then disconnect from server, three times now, give up for tonight.

Well,,,,, somehow i got raised from d/a to c/a.... had a few races at interlagos which is a favourite track for me.
a few good races, i did,nt expect a win but done well in a few.
last race 10.30pm uk time was the dirtiest race i have ever been in, i was punted from the rear, side swiped etc etc.
after 100 plus races got disqulified, never happened before.
guess i have lot to learn lol

Tried Interlagos first and was again proofed that I‘m absolutely bad at that track, terrible q-time and terrible races let to a already big enough DR drop. As my SR also suffered a lot I wanted to regain that by racing the Nations race; next bad idea. I then got myself up to set a q-time with the 86 Gr.4 for Race C, it was quite decent (1sec off Top10) but the racing was terribly dirty, I was wrecked off twice with 10 second penalties for me and the 86 is a terrible car to do that race without a pitstop, I would‘ve finished 6th in one of the races but then ran out of fuel in the last sector and finished P14 🤬
Only the last two races I just finished finally saw me in the positions I expected me to be, P2 with the 86 and P3 with the M4 in the final race. On a side not: the M4 cannot save fuel anymore by short shifting...

Not sure it’s that much of a secret but tend not to spread it around. You were just behind me at one point but I messed up!!

I really don’t get this penalty system anymore, last race for the evening got bumped in the rear, enough to put me well of line and them go past and no penalty for either?? I’m DR A SRS

Yesterday I raced the most (10 consecutive races) I did on a single day thanks to a “all-went-wrong” first race. Dropped 4000 Dr and 31 Sr. Another 9 races 3 hours to get back to the starting Dr Sr.

The loss of DR from having a bad race vs the DR you gain from a good race seems so wrong. Ive had five races today and 1 was a real bad one, Out of all of those races I’ve gained a total of 100 Dr!

Venster, here is my Dr chart (bar 2-11) yesterday.
Started at S/S. Disaster race led me to A/B.
From 3-7, straight 5 victories in a row raced as A/B and A/A. You can see the Dr point gained per game was extremely low (below 200). So frustrated at that point.

Started as A/S in the next 4 races (8-11), the Dr gained from 8-10 was double of 3-7 though I didn't get win.
Luckily a win in the last A/S race. Got a huge 2000 Dr and backed to S/S in the end.

From what I have experienced, Dr gain ratio is something related to Sr level.
A Sr S or A victory gives you over 2000 Dr while Sr B hands you 200 Dr at most.

A very satisfying win #11 today, after a pig of a day at Interlagos. I was getting rammed, swiped and tapped on the rear quarters and got penalties every time; the offender received nothing.

Started the day at DR/B, SR/B, and at one point today I was at C/E!!! I have dropped from 21396 DR to 7997!

Anyway, I started what was to be my final race of the day, on pole. I was quickly in 5th come corner #4 after being side swiped on turn 1, and then rear ended on turn 4.

Fought my way back to 2nd, and couldn't quite close the .100 second gap to the leader.

Anyway, crossed the line in 2nd, but thanks to the erratic driving of the leader, and his off track excursions, I got the win! Along with pole, fastest lap and clean race bonus!

The penalty system has been exceptionally weird and wacky since the update. There seems to be a lot more 'gaming' of the system, and sadly 'cheating' does prosper!
A very frustrating day!
