finally GR1 at spa should be fun , and a rolling start qualy is going to be very important
If N300 is the Fugu again, I'll be splitting time...if I have much, between Tsukaba and Spa. I love that combo at Tsukaba because the car is a hoot, and I can run with the big boys there. It would definitely put me solidly back at A, which is good for points in FIA. I hope Spa is set up where something besides the TS 050 can compete.

The way spa is setup, Not sure what will come out on top between GrC and Hybrids, both looks like they can manage 1.58s or a bit lower here ,

*just checked, looks like hybrids rock here,,ermm how do you save juice again :nervous:

Never too old!!!

Rule #6 clearly states you should consult a physician if you have concerns.

I think the Gr C cars will be annihilated in Sector 2, especially with dirty air. It'll be interesting to see if they have a enough top speed to play ball in the other sectors.

They will annihilate the hybrids come straights , the difference is 30+ kph, so it looks like a tie

As much as I like the Dallara, gr2, rbjr, and gr c, I equally dislike the gr1 hybrids.
I suck at group1.
Any tips?
I like anything GR1 the only thing I can say is stay away from 1st gear on the toyota HYBIRDS it will over rotate from some odd reason so there are only 2 places at spa that you might be tempted to drop down to 1st. Turn 1 and the last chicane before start finish

If every game has dirty players in it, am I the dirty player? Or do I have a target on my back? I'm actually trying to play really clean and fix my SR, but every game I get 2 or 3 people who think my cars there for braking or cornering and my SR is dropping fast.

Sometimes it’s best to just lift and let them go, it’s not worth the hit to your SR to stay around some people on track.

New daily races are up

Tsukuba n300
Lago Maggiorre Gr 4
Spa Gr 1
I am away next week and looking at these, that’s no bad thing. I cannot work Spa out at the best of times. Group 1 will simply amplify my incompetence.

Maggiore will be majority FFs with a few Jags/Vipers/Corvettes driven by the brave. Tsukuba is a track I find tedious.

Good luck to those braving these. Particularly Spa.

Tried out the Hyundai at Spa and I need some work, but 10 laps of that would be a nightmare. So which GR1 sounds good? Even just some sort of car type noise would do, I could adjust for bad handling easier than adjusting for that noise.

Spa Gr1.

Lap records are here: https://gtsport.r1s3.net/laprecords/82/15. It appears there was an event in late May/2020 so the data should be good. The BoP notices show little or no impact to the Gr.1 cars for 2020.

BoP notices since Jan 1/2020. Let me know if I missed some.

Upon reviewing the top 200 times (since 01 Jan 2020) the '16 Audi R18 was the front runner chosen by 90 of the top 200 lappers. The TS050 was second with honourable mentions for the '16 Porsche 919 and Peugeot 908.
Code:
count car
90 Audi R18 (Audi Sport Team Joest) '16
38 Toyota TS050 - Hybrid (Toyota Gazoo Racing) '16
27 Porsche 919 Hybrid (Porsche Team) '16
25 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP - Team Peugeot Total '10
10 Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.1)
6 Audi R18 TDI (Audi Sport Team Joest) '11
2 Alpine Vision Gran Turismo 2017
1 Dodge SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.1)
 1 HYUNDAI N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.1)

I am going to spend time in the LM55. I like the big overlap between the eight gears, that is, you can short shift and still be in the "red" range for the next gear and that means there is an available right gear for every corner. I don't know if that is a real thing but it helps me.

Lago Gr 4

For the Group 4 race at "Autodrome Lago Maggiore - GP"... there was an event in September on hard tires. The TT Cup dominated. https://gtsport.r1s3.net/laprecords/26/12. No analysis required.

Yeah I know, but since I'm trying to fix my SR I've had to do that a few times and it just gets to the stage where your trading DR for SR.

Exchanging DR for SR in a C race is the best currency exchange program in the world. The commission charge is to let the turds pass.

Did a couple Daily Race Bs for today and this start was hectic (due to the drivers either their internet or something else) but was able to get away and get some wins along the way. And thanks to Daily Race B, I have been enlightened as to how good the R8 LMS (which I'm surprised it took me this long to be enlightened) is and I'm liking it now even more.

I just noticed that in Maggiore tyres are RM. Is the first time I see such thing in a Daily B race with Gr 4.

Oh, you shouldn’t have told me that. Vipers & Mustangs for me all week.

Stepping back into the current dailies, after running that 1:29.2 in race the other night, I knew there was more to gain. Got my race C QT down to 1:28.515. Video will be posted later for the B level drivers.
