Here's me "Forcing another car off the track", apparently.
When this stuff happens to you, don't allow it to stress you out. Just laugh, because it happens to everybody, and they all know it's nonsense.
For what it's worth, if I had slammed on the brakes, instead of just lifting off the throttle, I would have slid into him harder.
I have an idea. How about if ghosting is automatically triggered whenever all four tires lose traction. 💡
Edit: Also, my car went off the track first. Idiot programmers.![]()
I hereby officially submit my suggestion for a name for the right hander at the bottom of the hill at Seaside after you pass under the bridge.
“The Snorkel”
Reasoning should be obvious. Strange shape plus everyone dives there.
Didn't know there was a bridge. Not paying attention, I guess.I hereby officially submit my suggestion for a name for the right hander at the bottom of the hill at Seaside after you pass under the bridge.

Its very hard to describe sections of fantasy tracks to anyone in this game, Naming or numbering would help. Besides from the banked hairpin at Maggiore or the Chicane of Death theres not too many corners that people could easily describe. Maybe the esses at Yamagiwa as well.
It's not a bridge, unless I'm missing something, just a Pirelli banner?Didn't know there was a bridge. Not paying attention, I guess.![]()
It seems like this week we have named 2 new sections of this track.

OK, I did a little research on the Hybrid cars for Gr1/Spa-C-Race as they seem to be the choice, specifically the Audi R18 '16.
First off, I was able to get a faster time in the non-hybrid Mazda LM55. That means one of two things - either I am second coming of Jesus or I have not figured out how to drive the hybrid. We will go with the latter.
Apparently, the non-hybrids have about 650 HP and the hybrids have 500 regular HP for the rear wheels + 500 HP from the battery for the front wheels. The battery juice lasts for 5 seconds so use it well. It will be dispensed and harvested automatically. There is no button to use but there is a green bar on the Heads Up Display.
Here are my notes and findings:
- As @RacingGrandpa noted it is important to set the Brake Bias to the rear. There is a YouTube video here: . It will more efficiently harvest (recharge).
- Next, the Audi spins its tires in second gear under normal acceleration. That is bad. It means that the hybrid juice is being used but to no good effect. I don't know how to manage that but I suspect that you need to more slowly lean into acceleration to get the full value of the 1000 HP but it will be delayed a bit.
- I read a third comment to accelerate and brake gently with no other commentary. We are in a race right? That may help add and maximize juice but the end goal is to finish soonest. In effect, number 1 above represents gentler braking and number 2 above, avoiding wheel spin, represents gentler acceleration. There is a special case for qualifying... run your hot lap and on the following lap concentrate to recharge your battery to the max for the next lap. Maybe experiment with slower braking or gentler acceleration.
- I have noted that some harvesting also happens on medium speed corners when not on full throttle. That makes sense. The Toyota Prius does that too.
- Lifting and coasting is not a "thing" in the game. Don't use it. Real life LMP1 drivers need to do it because they have per lap fuel limitations and must use the fuel efficiently. It will not help you manage your hybrid power.
I do not have all the facts. Please speak up if you have a contrary experience.
