Gr.B at Willow Springs went about as well as I expected... started third in qualifying, still got third but had to fight my way back because a Focus punted me into the dirt.

Said Focus got first place. :ouch:

Did I notice you say you are up to SR S now and enjoying it?

Yeah.. I honestly thought it wouldn't be as exciting if there wasn't any bumping and squeezing but it's the opposite. Staying close to someone waiting for the right opportunity to pass is both exciting and challenging. And rewarding. Also if I finish badly it's just my own fault now, no rammers to blame :D Plus it's nice to start the race when you know nobody wants to bump you. Gotta stay there now.

The key to the E30 imho is to try getting its front wheels point as straight as possible on the apex of the corner towards the exit and then just floor it. At least that decently worked at Suzuka yesterday in the Esses :boggled:

Yeah, I think the no sound thing didn't do me any favours again. I was probably being too tentative in waiting to hit the throttle... keep forgetting to take my headphones in from the car!

 I remember when I first moved up and just being astounded at the patience being shown. Obviously there are still occasional idiots, but it's a different world to SR A and B. I remember one race at Interlagos where everyone was driving as you would in real life, patiently following each other, allowing each other space to brake and make turns without shoving through, then going for it on the straight but dropping back into line at corners again. It's a nice feeling when it all works :)

Like these kind of races too. I would save them and watch again afterwards. Something my wife never understand.

What is your strategic then? Pit or not.
Don't know yet :) depends on fuel multiplier and how many laps that works out as. Also depends on the car... if I can set a good time in the Citroen I am happy to run that on worn tyres as it is very stable, but if I use the Genesis or RCF then definitely will need tyres...

I still need to finish/rework the livery I made for that car

Playing without sound is the worst thing I could imagine after playing without a TV

All 3 cars mentioned are brand new in my garage. Won at Interlargo with M4, Magane, TT and Atenza before. Oh, never win on a Gr3. :D

Aww yeah, I'm going to demolish my Ratings even more today in Race C!
But I cant help it, I just love to race on Interlagos :)

And what was PD thinking with race B?
I imagine them sitting on a table, discussing the daily races for the week... "Guys, people ask for Gr.2 races, what should we do?" "Why not add Gr.B, we never had them?!" "Good idea bro, of to the coffee break" ...something like that. :p

The Genesis is fun... very easy to drive with no assists, compared to the RCF which is a bit of a handful (especially on tight bends, like T2 Maggiore).

I just love to race on Interlagos :)

Maybe see you there tonight then :) if I don't get sucked into the E30 on Maggiore...

Interlagos is my favourite by far! What car you going with? Either Atenza or Huracan for me...

haha I've done over 2k miles in that car! It's my go to on most gr4 tracks
;)

Good on tyre wear races as well I guess, being 4wd... Might try the Huracan tonight, but understeer on all those tight bends?

Only 2 MR (NSX) and 8 4WD (Atenza, GTR, and Lancer) in current top 10 Asia Interlagos. I just know if Interlagos fit with 4WD

Ah yes, the GTR got a power increase in the update yesterday.

--------

Just checking PB...
I need to make my group 4 time reflect my group 3 time :indiff:

Think they should alterate races on daily. Changing between 2 different races, like one race c, then it changes to a different track. Having 2 races an hour. I get bored racing the same track. May have issues when it comes to more unpopular tracks though.

Try B.B. at +4... that’s what I go for and don’t seem to have issues
I think I have it on +4 actually after I copied your car choice for Maggiore the other day :p

Will give it a bash. What's your previous best? (guessing not as close to top 10 as your group 1 )
