Tbh I don't think it's a single brand issue (any more) so many pricks who just don't indicate at all.... really winds me up. And don't get me started on people who sit in the outside lane when not overtaking.... I get right up behind them and start flashing my lights, then undertake on the inside and brake-check them if they don't move over quickly.

Well I got Monza'd on the first chicane. I almost take that as a given, but I believe I could have done better. I braked early enough if I was the only car on the track. Sadly the car in front had better brakes than me :crazy:. Orange SR.

Ok so the story from the start. I was going to take the Veyron for a spin, because Monza seemed like a good track for the wee beastie. It seemed that every man and his dog would be using it. I really shouldn't believe all I read here. Only the guy on pole was a Veyron. I forgot to try out a few cars first, and somehow selected race entry and qualification with the Jag, so I took the cat for a walk. Ran out of time and qualified 2s slower than my actual best. P12 for me then!

Race starts and the usual Monza Mayhem ensures. I pick my way through the carcases and somehow come out of the chicane in P5! I messed up the second chicane and earned a 3s penalty, got passed, but managed to get a pass back. Someone went into the kitty litter and I was sitting in 4th for the last 2 laps. I picked up a second orange even though I didn't think there was any contact. Looking at the replay there may have been some form of light contact with P3. I was having a hard time with the big cat and the brakes with that 2nd chicane... more penalties. I was up to 7s by the time i finished the 3rd lap. I managed to drop that down to 5 without loosing much by braking bit early slowing for the first and second chicanes. Crossed the line P4 but dropped to P5.

In the end I was a bit shocked to find I'd gone up a level :scared:!

Didn't know if I should put this here or in the penalty thread. Close racing with no penalties, even when tapped from behind.



The black Castrol NSX outbraked himself on lap 2 at the chicane. It was a genuine mistake I beleive as he looks to be desperatly trying avoid people.

Respect to everybody I was running close with here. Great driving and awareness, and this is the sort of racing that makes GTS great.

Haven’t beaten the 56’s yet got close, that’s a great lap time.

Although the Veyron sucks, hate the dash cam thing too big and distracting, huracan it is!

If I were to race in cockpit view, I'd actually go for the Veyron. Its rear cam tv placement is the best
The Huracan is also good :cheers:
 
Thoroughly disappointed, really looking forward to Maggiore, and the day was interrupted and now something has come up I can't even race - gutted. Pb is 1:54.2 only got to a 1:54.6 before having to stop :( have fun guys!

One not surprising you'd plaster it in Chevy logos considering your name. Two, as fun as it is to play make-believe that luminescent Audi logo will always indicate what the car really is. Maybe one day Chevy will make an interesting electric car...this isn't it.

True the Chevy Volt isn't that interesting, hence the 'Lightning Volt' play on words. But they did come up with the Chaparral 2X VGT. While still a make believe car I think it would qualify as pretty interesting. I doubt though that we will see this car for real anytime soon. And yes all my liveries wear the bowtie. :D​
 
Maggiore was not kind to me. Decided to use my "safe" car, the Viper. Qualified P9 and was looking forward to a nice race. Instead I got carnage, pushing, ramming, dive bombing and just about any other form of contact you care to name. I had hoped better from C/S. I think some of them were being a bit optimistic about the amount of space there was between the track and the cars on the track :odd:.

I worked my way up to P7 when I pitted, after having be shoved down to P13. Came out of the pits P14, But after the first chicane it was P8. Lost a bit and gained a bit, and thought I was doing well aside from a 7s penalty. I was getting lots of Green SRs so I thought my SR was headed back up to where I'd like it to be. Yeh, Crossed the line P7, dumped down to P10. DR went up a bit, but SR took a dive down to SR/A :scared:.

On the plus side, GTS finally gave me the number I use on my liveries! :lol:

Might have another try on Race C, what is good on tires, tried it with my RC F this morning and was suffering with the rears near the end. [After one stopping]
 
Some people should really get set apart to their own servers.. This is dr A-C high sr A..
Dropped 1k dr and 20Sr inn one race:boggled:

Had no problem at all with the Lancer. Quite fast too. A few hours ago there was one on the leaderboard.
