I had a go at NGP. Put in a decent qualifying time for a DR/D with the Blackbird (RSR), but found myself well down the order with 4 other DR/Ds and the rest DR/B.. 11 of them! Just as the race was about to start, disco! First time. Guess it was before the start so I don't appear to have suffered any losses. Guess I'll try again. Tried Pre qual with the Viper, but it just didn't want to rock'n'roll. The R8 seems to be working for me.

I thought the disconnect didn't effect me.. I was very wrong. I started the race SR/A. I have no idea how far down I tumbled, but it doesn't look good. My grid wasn't much better than the one I was disconnected from, but I qualified P7 which is higher. I was in P3 at one stage, but the DR/Bs wanted to shove me out of the way instead of trying clean passes. Dropped down to P5. I cut the chicane just a bit too close and with penalties dropped to P7. DR went up a hair, not sure how far the SR drop was from the disconnect, but I'm on 77 after the race.

It really is a great track, although I feel it's been in the rotation a lot lately.

Maybe PD gives us what we want. Sure there is a lot of differences in daily races participants so they try to keep people online. Daily amount of racers is going down unfortunatetly in sport mode very quickly.

So true. I can see where I'm losing a tenth here and there, and sometimes a whole second, but 30? I typically run ABS default and a little TCS. I do stay on the track- I'll run the curbs, but I'm not making detailed notes on the rack limits. I guess that makes me a filthy casual?

Mha i dont know play this track sive gt4 and almost daily on all racing games i know. And then people are 10 seconds faster those are aliens not real people haha

Yeah it really feels like it. I don't know if I'll win many more races at this level. Even at Interlagos I'm starting to top out. It sucks :/

I figured I give it a try in the morning. Qualified 1:12.538. Not good enough, 4th place, 1:12 flat to get to pole. It doesn't matter however, I get disconnected before the race starts, and that's all the time I had. Wasted. The person on pole is one I know I can't beat anyway, he'll be in the 1:11's when he updates his time. The morning alien shift is present.

Well times are close on the EU board, dropped to a 54.582 and half a tenth would bump me from 4th to second

Edit - just went top with a 1:54.395

I have been avoiding sport mode due to the penalty system, but Infield A with Gr4 cars is just too good.

Out of curiosity, what are the top cars used in the Europe (and Asia/Oceania) regions?

the kart race was fun, didnt seem very popular though. i was losing 200+ DR just for coming 2nd in the races i was in and i qualified with a 47.8

I can't complain about that. Had 10 wins out of 10 races with an DR jump from B to A 👍
To my opinion you had a DR loss because you ended behind lower rated drivers like me. Everything changes when it comes to Karts;)

Edit: Like in your case, many DR S and A finished behind me. They all have lost DR, which explains my spectacular DR increase :D:tup:

Maybe I'm weird but I've just had a really good race around brands in the karts.

started qualifying and at first it was undriveable on ds4. slowly started turning on driving aids and ended up with controller sensitivity-2, CS on max, Stability on max and even put it on auto transmission which I never drive!

once I did that I could just concentrate on being smooth as possible and came 4th in a B/S race. (was knocked off the track and down to 5th by a Russian but back past due to his penalty)

didn't mow the lawn once!

I had a blast in the karts on BH Indy, kinda strange because I hated karts before Sunday and never raced them. I wish I had more time on Sunday, I only had about an hour to play. I did one race, started 3rd, got rear ended and knocked off track in 2nd turn, big surprise there (I dont understand why people refuse to leave a little distance between cars at braking zones) got bumped to 8th or 9th but finished race in 3rd. I wish I had more time to race, I was actually fast in the kart, was only .500 off of the top 10 leader board at the time and I was still finding time. Woulda been my first time on the Top Ten leader board :(:(:(:(:(

Blue moon was kind to me. I tried a few cars in pre-qualification. Was hoping to use the Beemer, but it wasn't working for me. Thought I was doing ok with the J-roach, so I went with that. Qualified P7. The grid was a bit of a mix, but I was just happy to start in the top half :D.

I made a mess of the second corner of the first lap which kinda put me back a bit, but I just kept going and trying to keep it on the track, then trying to improve my lap times. Eventually I caught up to the 4 cars that were originally behind me and couldn't quite get the confidence to pass....cleanly. Everyone started pitting one by one and I found myself in P4. I only had 2 laps to go when I pitted. Stupid me changed tyres. That put me back into P7, where I finished :dopey:.

DR went up a bit more, SR up to 96. Another day above DR 1 .

I raced with you one time today. Started 5th, finished 2nd and you won. What I don't like here is that all guys in front of me go hugely wide in Sector one...

Well that wasn't nice, starting on pole from another top ten S rated driver, and getting divebombed into T1 and ending up with penalty and going to SR A

Edit - although I did run him out of road later on in trying to get back ahead - hands up that was my bad.

Yeah it's not great, track limits or maybe a reduced grip out there would be nice, but, it is what it is and people are going to do it so if you want to race with them and/Or beat them you kind of have to aswell

single penalty means guaranteed red rating , just bumped somebody who wanted to serve his penalty so he happily slams his brakes on the racing line at the Schumi S leaving me no damn room

Of all the place on the track why of everthing that is holy, would you stop there, at the bottom of a hill?

I'm still recovering from the Nordschleife over the weekend. Had a blast racing it with the Cayman and even won a race after having my SR tanked from S to B.

I had some moron dive bomb me off of at the Swedish Cross after I had to lift off the throttle so I wouldn't ram the scaredy cat in front of me. I saved the car with a drift but I rammed the diver bomber into the wall. Sort of a lucky Karma incident if it was for the 3 second penalty. Then I had a bunch of slow drivers in front of me.. which is totally fine until they began weave blocking my clean pass attempts on the straights and cutting into my brake line at the last minute. I kept getting SR hits for love tapping their rear bumpers despite trying to avoid hitting them with their horrible early braking lines.

Totally worth it though just to race other people on that course. I'm already back to SR A, so it's not that big of a deal.

Been doing race C today using the NSX, it's definitely not the quickest car but it is very very good on fuel, managed to do a no stop in one of the races by using fuel 2 on the infield bit. Generally qualified in the lower half of the field, highest finish of 6th.

Got 1:12.114 on Blue Moon Bay Infield with the 86 - I'm planning to enter a few races later - by the way - where do you upshift with this car? Judging by the graphics it should be somewhere between 7, 7.5K, or at least this is where I'm upshifting but I'm wondering if I'm not doing a bit early...

DR A and SR S, my laptimes on Nurb and BmB is 1:55.737 and 1:12.132 respectively. Like @GTP_randy said, a sub-:12 on BmB will net you pole, and a low :12 is good for P2-5
1:55.737 nets me pole every time
That's really good times Alpha! Great stuff there! Wow :) . - I could only get down to 13.1 at BmB - to afraid to try Nurb now that I dropped from DR B / SR S to DR B /SR B!! I am so negatively surprised about the new penalty systems - WOW! In my racing line with max speed through the turns still get hit hard from behind making me get off the track and I get penalty points from nothing really........ Anyhow - we need to build the SR back up then..... but I think I will continue ask for daily updates on lap-times on daily races here as I today ended up in the middle of the starting grid (6th. to 8th.) I need good laptimes before entering a race otherwise I get penalty for leaving the race when I see which grid position I got that I don't want to be in........ to "bumpy"... Thanks Alpha!

Judging by the graphics it should be somewhere between 7, 7.5K, or at least this is where I'm upshifting but I'm wondering if I'm not doing a bit early...
After a quick test drive and looking at the power curve I'd say 7600-7700 is ideal.

Could anyone please tell me how to find the world leaderboard? Would like to know where I am that's all
