And another day of either hoping to find a good lobby or just collecting the daily mileage :dunce:
@_ApexPredator if you can make it earlier than 10pm cest maybe we can do some karting or E30 racing again? :D

After a few days off I raced race B last night.

Felt so rusty doing QT. Like I hadn't played for a year. I was 9th on the grid in the first race and managed to win!! Couldn't almost believe it. Clean race bonus too. Second race I had almost a second better QT and was given pole.. Spun in the last corner and came 3rd.. Third race I was blatantly bombed two times and pushed out three times.. Dropped from 2nd to 14th. I think I had good chance to win before the first bomb. All the good vibes from the first race were gone and I didn't race after that.

Dragon Trail tonight if I can find time.

Last time I in A move like this make me get penalty around 2 or 3 seconds, but today didn't get penalty at all. So this mean we can bit more aggressive right? If I can stay in A I will stay then :lol:

Yes the Gr3 cars are too fast for that version of Maggiore, there is really only one good overtaking spot. Going past anywhere else requires mistakes from the guys in front and since I was starting behind 1st and/or 2nd in the EMEA rankings most races when I ran it this morning, I wasn't even close enough to profit from a big mistake, something that they never made anyway. I also drove off the track like a dummy and even catching and passing guys I was quicker than was not at all easy.
I agree it was all about making no mistakes rarely a good chance to race properly.

What's the most fun group 1 car to drive ? doesn't have to be particularly fast. might as well enjoy myself while i grind my way back up

is anyone of you aware of SR = A+? Never seen this before.. Did PD add a new Sportmanship level between A and S? I saw it in GT sport official site - my profile.

The question is, what us the most fun car to drive into you at inter? Its always chaos in gr1

That all depends on what level you're at ;). So many of you are so focused in your own little world that you fail to realise that this is a game with many drivers at different levels. At lower levels the one makes, the smaller, simpler tracks and all the other combinations that people who have been playing the game for a long time or are higher up whine about, make perfect sense. :p

I am not that high to be honest C/A and just play for fun with a D-Pad on tracks like New Moon infield and Brands there are a number of places to overtake, but on Grp3 cars on last nights track the track was just not big enough for the speed of the car.

How can I comment on anything other than what I experience. If you experience is different than mine or than anyone else posting about a race then share it, so we can all learn about the experience at all the different driver levels or regions for that matter. ;)

I still don't see how that layout, with the Gr.3 cars, could have produced great racing but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

First race of the night, chasing the dragon. Qualified P4 mismatched with DR/A, B and a few C. P7-11 didn't even bother to qualify. I knew what was likely to happen, and it wasn't good. Sure enough, the first ess and I got gang banged back into P8. Ended up finishing P8. SR dropped from 86 to 80.

Decided to go again. Mixed mismatch again, but more qualifiers. P1 was 2s slower than P1 of the previous race. Qualified P5. I managed to avoid for the most part the same chaos of the first chicane (was carrying more speed). Much better race. Didn't finish much better, P7, but cleaner and no penalties for me. Nailing the bus stop for all 4 laps was satisfying and I always gained on the person in front there. Finished P7, gained a little DR and all of two SR points despite not hitting anyone that I was aware of.

It's a wide track. In my races people were taking different lines, and I saw passes in several places. The first chicane for example has enough space for people to pass. So do many of the other corners. Down here people don't drive perfectly, so opportunities are there that there just don't exists with the more skilled higher level racers.

Heroin and GT sport don’t mix

Hum... that´s a bit.... explicit... :confused::confused::confused:💡💡💡("I got gang banged back...":odd::odd::odd::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:) ....

Interesting concept... :dopey::dopey::dopey::dopey::dopey:

I’m usually not the best at qualifying or driving GR 3 cars but last night it seemed to just click with me. Had one horrible race but all the rest were clean and fun.

Given you punted him twice, the 2nd time putting him in to the wall, why did you not wait for him to take the position back?

Instead, you just drove off... not great sportsmanship IMO.

Bla bla bla....

I hit him one ONCE...
I admired it
I said sorry twice, in game and here
I had to pass him because he went to the wall and there were more cars behind us

Don’t try to play “the Judge, jury and executioner” without knowing who you talking to!

Who am I talking to then? Some sort of GT royalty that excuses you from behaving properly? :lol:

Facts are clear - you punted him, and then drove off, too interested in trying to improve your position, no doubt. If you didn't think it was safe to stop and wait there, you should have waited on the straight.

Apologising after the fact is a given. Seems waiting is not nowadays.
