Went to my secondary account to improve the DR a bit more and managed to beat my European time by 0.016sec xD

Only AMG in both top10s I guess. ^^
Awesome job, I saw you were in second place on the European servers, had some amazing clean, fair and respectful races on Kyoto yesterday, great fun. Just have to improve on speed now, my Quali time was only a 2.19.4**;);)

Just got saddled with a 5 sec yellow flag penalty on the first lap in the daily B, was still 5 sec in the end, bye bye places I gained. My 2:18.0 qualifier only grants me second the last on average, A/S is tough! The racing is fun yet the xp and money are insulting. Why does finishing 12th in A/S have the same reward as finishing 12th in D/E...

Laughing at people riding off the desert on the corners of Willow Springs....until I did the same due to late braking.

Went from 8th to 12th. DR dropped about 1k, SR is now 99/99 from 87 though.
Had the same experience, people in front flying off in the desert until u make a mistake and its your turn, DR down slightly but SR up from 85 to 99

Asia has only TT Cups and 86s in the list with the TT Cup holding the top time, in America ORMA_Snow did the best overall time of all regions in the 86. And the 86 isn't to be seen in the EU region at all. Neither yesterday on Yamagiwa nor today on Big Willow. Also did multiple races yesterday and didn't see a single driver using the 86, the races were almost exclusively M4 and TT Cup (and stupid me as RWD and Gr. 4 beginner ALSO using the M4 of course and spinning out in all but one race...).

...what the M4 has going for it though is that it has its power over a HUGE RPM range (flat line between 5500 and 7500 RPM IIRC), basically you can shift wherever you are are in the higher RPM range and you'll always be in the optimum range, so you could short-shift the hell out of it without losing any time at all.
@Spurgy 777 was in the top 10 yesterday evening in the 86

On topic... had a good couple of battles on Yama+Miyabi last night. I don't seem to be experiencing too much dirty driving these days, compared with only a week or two ago. Still in B/B...

I had a comparison with the replay of the best lap on EU servers with mine (2:15.xxx vs 2:17.xxx, 458 vs R8), and I was really surprised about the breaking points of the driver of the best lap. I think this is due to No ABS setup that gives more braking consistency, and I can believe this leads to a breakdown of timelap of about 2 sec. The question is: driving without ABS surely helps in having deeper braking points? Honestly this is the biggest difference I found, trajectories and curve speed were comparable.

As far as I’m aware everyone was using ABS, ABS off would probably have been a lot slower. Plus if it’s 2 seconds it’s unlikely to be due to later braking, far more likely that you’re getting on the throttle too late.

Surely, they don't drive with ABS off?

Driving with ABS off is ridiculous... you can't brake in a straight line.

I don't know, I was just comparing the two laps, and trying to uderstand how he can brake so deep and take the apex of the curve efficiently. What I can surely say is that braking points where much deeper than mine and I Was trying to understand why. I drive with default ABS and I was supposing this can lead to a worse braking efficiency, but it was just a brainstorm..

If you have a replay of your lap I could have a look for you. But from the laps I was doing getting on the throttle early was probably the most important thing for improving my time.

Thats why I'm asking :p
OH! I thought you couldn't see it at work.

Can someone be a nice guy and tell me what the daily races are? :O

Ok. ;)

Race A:- One make, Peugeot 208 at Miyabi, 5 laps.
Race B:- One make, Toyota FT-1 at Maggiore East, 4 laps.
Race C:- Gr3 at Brands Hatch GP, 10 laps, fuel x5, tyres x15.

Gr3 @ Brands Hatch? Let me guess, Porsche Porsche Porsche Porsche?

completely agree with you. I could also think a manual set of the braking balance depending on each curve could also improve brake consistency (i.e. towards front tires for a slow curve and more central/slightly rear for faster ones).. Anyway thanks a lot for your help! I'll try to grab my own lap replay these days.

Btw, I probably had the best race yet yesterday! :dopey:
FIA manufacturers race at Dragon Trails Gr.4! Lots of fun!
Over 10 laps a hard battle between the Top 3-5. Two of them got destroyed by the chicane, sadly not the unfair leader. He forced his way in front a little too aggressive.
But I had an awesome race with an english guy (cant remember his name sadly). Always fair and without mistakes. 👍
I ended up 3rd with now, finally, SR S and DR A :)

The Gr.3 race wasn't too bad either. Hope we see similar tracks today.
edit: I can live with Brands Hatch

I had my BB all the way to the rear, helps with turn in under braking.
