A bit intense in mid race, understeering is no joke. Leader was using a Viper and was quite fast too! Also a clean race as well, i'm really satisfied

Race B was fun, but I shouldn't have raced there at all. I got so many penalties from people (guess the nations) ramming into me, I nearly dropped to SR A again...

The so called "Top Racers" are a pain to race against. Noone knows how to lift the gas or pull out of a fight. Especially in the fast S curves or the bus-stop. Its insane!
I really do like to race slower people more. They at least try to give room and back out of pointless fights.
But GTS can't stop putting me in those "Alien" lobbies :nervous:

technically, as I understand it, photons have mass proportional to their energy. That would mean (Newtons Third law of motion:For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.) That photons ejected in a direction opposite of travel would exert a force in the direction of travel on the vehicle. So your rear hazards should speed you up and your front hazards should slow you down.

so for more efficient braking the brake lights should go up front. New definition of light speed
I somewhere once read that turned-on headlights actually slow you down by 0.0000something percent

I want to know why every time I run a combo for a number of times there is always one race where it feels like I have no grip, yet again it happened earlier and yet again I even crashed going into the pits. In some races the car (whatever it is) just doesn't seem to go where I want it too and is a right handful, usually resulting in spins. Even CSA does not stop it from happening. The rest of the time it feels fine and I do the best I can do.

Oh and because of the above I've come to the conclusion that it's too hard to overtake with these Gr2 cars, even against drivers comfortably slower than myself.

I know the pain too

Just finished Race C , it got so hard to get my DR up when there are only aliens around.
Had qualified with a 1.48.233 and was starting on P12  in a grid with 6 A+ drivers

P.S. I guess we were Racing together a few day ago (if you have the same nick ingame)

Do a couple of hot laps in between races every so often. Personally I start making mistakes and my average lap times start getting slower if I do a lot of races at once but trying a fast lap or two every so often stops me from letting my pace slip. Well, you're generally faster than me anyway but this is just something I use to stop me from making too many mistakes in racing

I usually do, the other day after my awful race at Brands Hatch where I spun/crashed too much, I got just two laps in between that and the next race, one of them was my lap that was high on the leaderboard most of the day, so from rubbish to great in less than five minutes.

Today's bad race was after I had a little break doing other things though and could be why I was rubbish but crashing into the pits shouldn't ever happen and I've done it twice recently after never doing it before, it's like it's icy there or something. The low speed grip is really bad though in this game, can I also blame that.:O

Tried to learn Dragon Trail properly for the first time.
My optimum lap is a 1:43.8, 3rd in the world if I nail it.
No time to race and gladly so. I can imagine some of the fellow high A+ drivers will refuse to give space in last sector

Gr2 cars are not fun to drive in traffic. Too much aero push which makes following someone difficult, let alone set up an overtake.

Got qt of 1.44.066 on Dragon Trail ' started second in first race and then managed to rattle the bus stop. Ran off 4sec penalty or crash and then raced to catch up. Coming into bus stop on last lap in 15th but caught up with a group of 5 cars with various penalties. Went full pace into the bus stop - 5 car pile up after bus stop but I managed to thread my way through without a scratch. Ended up losing 200 Dr points and 10 sr points. Not too bad and got points back in next race. Slow start to evenings racing !!!

Weird GT coincidence. Last night a picture of a 70s Camaro pace car for Daytona showed up on the GTS idle screen. Today I saw a 70s Corvette pace car for Daytona (still had the "Official Pace Car" stickers on it) parked on the street. I was looking around for glitching cats, I felt like I was in the Matrix.

Thats nothing. - Started 11, worked my way up to 4th in a very dirty srS race. Last corner im going deep, I want the 3rd place, the current 3rd place holder wants it even more. He Pushes me waay wide, (hockeytackling,) i drift out of the corner exit, where the 5th car smashes into me. I finished 14 :p

Finally got into the 1.44s at DT!

Not much to some but switched to a wheel a couple months ago and had benchmark times I’d set with a DS4, one of those was a best of 1.44.96 finally finally just snuck past it with a wheel time at a 1.44.938! Not by much and not breaking any records (except my own) but it feels like a moment!!

@TheGeologist same here but not so much DR but losing SR which never happens to me. Have always been and remained SR S. Untill today......

I am one of those drivers giving room to others behind me, but most of the times they do not get it even if I use my blinkers. So I am causing crashes or other stupid things by letting people pass or giving too much space. I said to myself wont be doing that again. But today I made the same mistake again. Just being to kind is also not good.

I'm kinda like that too, it sucks when you try to be nice but you come off as dirty.

The car looks familiar, so I was there also in one of your races.
Oh, really nice to have GTP mates in the same race. Most of my cars post a SR decal on the rear bumper. Though nice kiss from behind could not be avoided. Unlike my Asia account, all my Gr 3 & 4 cars in EU have the same colour. You can recognise me by these signs.:D Hopefully I will meet many of you on the tracks soon.:gtpflag:

Did 3 Race B last night.
2 miserable ones...
1 amazing!

1st I got pole, messed up big time on the hairpin in the first lap because I was looking at the mirror for dive bombers and missed the braking point. As I was the only A+ I didn’t know if I was ghosted or not so I had to let everybody pass before getting back into track, was then in 12th place... managed to get to 5th at the end of 3rd lap, was close to pass 4th place but 6th place took the 3 of us out on the 3rd turn (the fast one)... finished 10th

2nd Race I was 3rd in the grid, another A+ was pole and between us was a B/S driver... first turn they both got penalties because of the second place mistake... I followed them closely for the entire first lap, on second lap the B/S driver tried to dive bomb 1st place on the hairpin but wasn’t expecting his expertise on avoiding dirty drivers and hit the wall, I believe at this point he got more penalties, I slow down and let him on the track expecting to pass him after the bus stop... the idiot decided to take his penalties in the middle of the bus stop and didn’t let me pass.... I hit the wall, got 3sec penalties and got 9th place... he quit the race...

3rd Race was amazing... a fantastic fast and clean race with the 4 drivers on the front...
The video show it all:

What an amazing and unbelievable move.:banghead:

Congrats. Love to see close battle with fast laps. You were so calm and consistent throughout the race. I would be very nervous from the hairpin to the finish line in last lap.

You can’t overtake so you need to try different fuel strategies to move up the order! Hasn’t worked against you though! You’re too fast and don’t burn enough fuel. I tried...
