Was not far wrong with my guestimate for the video upload but here is the link to my experience with
daily race A today (skip to 10 mins), I uploaded whole footage to show everything from clicking
on the daily race menu.

WTF? Nice easy victory though, eh?

Pretty bummed, ive (somehow) managed to get a seemingly unbeatable qualifying time for Race A, and am getting put to pole for every race. And i havent had a single win due to someone starting 15seconds ahead of me each time. Getting clean race achievement under my belt, but for someone who has only had one race win since the game launched, losing 4 easy wins in a row due to a glitch is pretty demoralising.

Ive got my last race saved, but no idea what to do with it. How to we log an issue?

Yes I won't complain about that.

Sometimes the game makes me wonder about the door prediction for finishing position in these races.

Just tried race C and it gave me number 1 for finishing position even though I qualified 12th so was unrealistic that I'd get
that far up the order and finished 18th in the end and probably lost me some DR points.

Is the car number an actual predictor for finishing position?

Bank holiday here in the UK, likely loads of kids on. Get to Race C, there's no way they'd handle those Gr2 cars and it's Suzuka too, a nice unforgiving track.
I don't think kids really play this game.

Does it have any link to DR or is simply just completely random
The higher your DR the lower your number. This however only works when it isn't a mixed field of Sub-DR-D and Above-DR-D drivers because a driver with a DR of 9000 will get a higher number than a driver with a DR of 60000; that is because GT sorts numbers alphabetically and 9 > 6

4 daily B. Quail at low 32 for the first 3 races. All were ruined by divebombs.:nervous: Luckily I could kept calm and got blue S. Before the last race of the day, I broke my PB to 31.530 which placed me to 30 in EMEA.👍 Started 2nd due to the disappear of 5 racers after warm up laps. No way to get close to the GTP guy ahead. He was 0.5s pre lap faster then me. Gutted no time to enter any more race with my new quali record.:yuck: Good luck to you all.:gtpflag:

Edit: just found that the time among racers are so close that 0.258s counts for 600 rank.

I'm curious why you think that
Fortnite
COD
FIFA
GTA
NFS
F1...

I think a veeeeeery small fraction of kids who play PS4 games online, play any racing games, let alone something "serious" like GTS. When I was a kid (teen), my online friends all played Need for Speed a fair bit, and they liked racing games and cars; yet barely any of them had any interest in circuit racers. And every kid nowadays plays what their friends are playing.

Okay, after a day of rollecoasting through the rankings, here is my conclusion about Interlagos today

1. As much as I love the 911 RSR it is just slow on the straights, which lead to the following scenario - I start on pole and the guy behind me is using some american car, this leads to melting the gap on the first corner and ... dive bomb, and as I already mentioned in my previous post - I lost 3K DR starting from pole and getting the same thing happen - I spun due to some idiot trying to overtake on the first corner leading me from 1st to last.

2. Decided to try the strategy - if you can't beat them - join them and started playing with the Viper - got 4 or 5 wins, my last game was ruined by myself as I got hit from behind from a guy, the bump was a slight one didn't disturb my racing line or anything and I got 1 S penalty - on the final straight I was leading with ~ .8 on the second guy but I misjudged my braking point on the final straight so I wasn't able to fully get rid of the penalty and got 2nd which really sucks... So long story short it seems that if you don't play the meta you will have a hard time winning.

3. After being put to SR B I noticed that there were some really careful drivers and to tell you the truth I enjoyed it a bit more than SR S, which I eventually managed to get back to after a few races - but the people there were not as aggressive as the ones in SR S so I didn't got divebombed and won all my races except for 2 which were my mistakes - in the first I spun due to mashing the gas, in the second I wasn't able to ditch the penalty.

The good thing is that I finally got 20 mil credits and bought the Jaguar...luckly I've won the Ferrari so I'm done with the expensive cars :)

Don't know if I reached my gap or is it bad luck but I'm coasting 35-40K DR from 1 months or so..

Lost 3-4 easy wins after starting first with the 911 RSR and divebombed but...what can I do..

Thanks for the post, I guess it was picking those numbers as I had quite high DR points but i lost most of them in the last C Race
because I dozed off in my chair part way through the race so now I've gotta make em back again. :banghead:

Agree 2 things. Viper has a clear straight line advantage over RSR. Sr B racers care about Sr more then Sr S.

No Viper in my EMEA garage so no try.

Thanks yeah I get you
A more accurate predictor is. Depending on how many time people hit you, the lower your position will be.
Haha can't disagree with that

Got a Q time of 32.335 at Interlagos.

Currently working my way back to DrA so I can be outpaced by the competition on other tracks! Woo (-_-)

I don't understand how I can be so successful at Interlagos, and such trash everywhere else...

Ha I know the feeling. I have most of my wins on Monza and don't understand why other people struggle so much on that track. Yet yesterday on DT Gardens I can't qualify higher than 17th nor finish higher than 12th. It's not just the new track, there's a lot I can't keep up, perhaps I'm staying too much between the lines.

My DR graph looks like the Himalayas as I only do well on narrow tracks with strict track limits or dire consequences for going off like Big Willow and Brand's hatch. While on a track like Lago Magiorre I'm trailing behind in the back field. Please more Nurb 24h! Bummed I didn't have time for Mount Panorama on Saturday, I did take the time to get 5 wins on Monza though.

Have fun on Interlagos! Perhaps I'll see you tonight for a race or two. I'll be in the back :)

I'm not trying to be sour about anything, but I had a B-race on friday night where another player was quite cross with me after a last lap spin. I watched the replay and accounting for my intended lines and having raced all day with no issues I can't find anything that I might have done wrong. Usually when I ruin someone's race I like to reserve judgment and am openly apologetic, but I don't see anything about my driving in this race that screams out to me "Why would I do that? I'm so stupid!" At the same time, the winner seemed to empathize with the other guy

What do you guys think? Could I have been to blame for any of these incidents? The last lap spin was a weird one, and I only moved up after we made contact and I noticed he was coming around in front of my car.

Lag penalties again... The guy behind me never touched me and got a penalty. It’s ridiculous. I had just got out of bed so I was messing up in the lead. Need more caffeine. In B races, SR tumbles down rapidly...

No I wouldn't say you were a bad driver. On ovals it will get tasty. That guy kinda deserved it, guessing he was using a restricted view, hitting people so many times. Nice livery makes me a little thirty.

I've raced against that guy. He bumps and rams his way around the track. Maybe you could chalk it up to lag, maybe not. All I know for sure is when I see him entered, I think oh man, not you again.

Alright. Thanks for the feedback, guys. Trying to be more careful all the time, but the fields are always testing us. It's a fun challenge.

I see i'm not the only one that experienced the Daily Race A Bug.

Here is my experience with it.

That sucks, man. I wonder what the beneficiary thinks about it.

I notice that he was the first person sitting directly behind the start/finish line before the cars rolled out. I wonder if that has something to do with it.

I think you're doing fine. So many people think they can just block and limit the exit line on the inside driver and I gently plow through those people as well. So far the game's penalty system hasn't docked me for the move and it's just reckless for this guy to dive towards the inside during the exit line anyways.
