As long as I get my 15 consecutive clean races by the end of the day I don't really care for the wins, this is the easiest way to do it when starting on pole

Was P7 on mine too, just looked
could you check if the lap counter goes up by 1? it looks like P7 starts on the start/finish line on the opposite side of the track than the actual one in race is, maybe the game is registering a completed lap at the beginning of the race not sure if that could be the cause of the glitch

They certainly do a lap less than the field because if you finish behind "1st" your race is over where as places 2,3 etc have to do the last lap.

Great first race on interlagos, started 3rd and got dive bombed by a spanish guy who was 0.5 behind me on the straight, then he spun me and i finished last ... gg

1:31.507 with the BMW Z4 GT3 in daily race B at Interlagos. Currently P14 in Europe and 31 in the world ranking. Sadly I didn't have enough memory space free to save the replay... :banghead: :D
I appreciate this car more and more. Should have bought it much earlier and drive more with it. Give it a try if you're bored by the 'mainstream' cars.

I have noticed the bug with Daily Race A myself.

First place started between P5 and P6 meaning everyone was ghosted in the race, does anyone have any tips for
a DS4 Pad user to get a better time than 0:21:215, can't seem to get any lower than that and I'm racing it with
all aids turned off?

Slingshot yourself into the hot lap by hugging the wall on the previous lap, then it’s all about smooth turning so no jerking of the sticks

Thanks.

An update on Daily Race A - it's even more bugged than I thought, qualified 6th and it changed me into 1st place
when the race started and I was 15 seconds ahead of the rest of the field, really weird. Video is saved I will try to
get it uploaded asap.

Tempted to do the B and C. Latter is because it's a classic choice with Gr.2 but i'm not great with Super GT cars but always worth a shot

May I ask what brake bias you’re using? And what assists, if any? I’ve run about 30 laps so far and tried 5 different cars and every single lap has been between1:33.3 and 1:35. Its so frustrating

Of course you can ask! :) I don't like to make a secret of my 'settings'...
I use traction control on 2, counter steering assist on strong, brake bias +3 for better turn in ability. I don't fiddle with the settings during the race for different sectors.
Note: Normally I don't use traction control but in GT3 cars and especially at Interlagos I like the extra safety and it gives me more confidence and allows me to go faster; For example in the first chicane after the finish line. When you drive cleanly, the tc rarely interferes and doesn't slow you down much. Oh and I use a steering wheel. Hope this helps you a bit to achieve a better laptime

Edit: If you've done 'only' 30 laps in total with 5 different cars, it is normal that you don't exploit a car to its full potential. Stick with one car you like and feel comfortable with and try to push that one car to the cars and your limits. Only then you will become better and refine you driving skills.

The exact same thing just happened to me. Started on pole finished second to someone who started in P5, mountaineer

It seems to be grid slot 1 is not coded correctly for this online race and is swapping the player that is P5 or P6 into
the number one spot. My connection is really slow with playing game and uploading but I'll add my video showing
the swap bug in about 1hr 23 when it finishes uploading.

How the hell can that Daily Race A glitch even occur? Come on Polyphony, this is game ruining (for a day)

but hey, this game is clearly 100% FIA Championship ready.
This is messed up. I have typically stayed away from bashing this game, but man, c’mon PD, now I’m being glitched for hard earned and well deserved victories?
Yeah, FIA ready....not so much

To someone who has qualified 80 (mountaineer 301)?? I’m currently 24

It’s my favorite in Brands Hatch and Mount Panorama
But has the worst cockpit view...

Okay, all the idiots are on interlagos tosay, so far i’ve lost 3k dr from starting on pole and gooing last on the first corner ...... aaand my sr is now B

Was not far wrong with my guestimate for the video upload but here is the link to my experience with
daily race A today (skip to 10 mins), I uploaded whole footage to show everything from clicking
on the daily race menu.

Going to Interlagos is like going to the hell.

Bank holiday here in the UK, likely loads of kids on. Get to Race C, there's no way they'd handle those Gr2 cars and it's Suzuka too, a nice unforgiving track.
