Still not a perfect lap, but 129.465 now. I know i can go a bit quicker if i practise but not as fast as you lot, thanks a lot.
Edit: Second on the grid this time. A lot better than P9.

Proof that crazy things can happen...

I haven't done GR2 on Dragon Trail that I recall. I jumped in with just enough time to fit in 3 laps qualifying before the race started. Each lap I took 2s off my lap time, which landed me in P10 in a mixed grid of DR/C and D.

Auto drive dumped me part way through the last corner bouncing off the limiter in 1st. I took Alpha's advice and up shifted bang bang. Others weren't quite so quick on the draw and I passed 2 people before the first bend and made it through the chicane with out incident. I was doing ok when a car that spun out in the middle of the track unghosted sideways just as I was about to pass through... somehow no penalty and I was looking at a clean race bonus. Sadly I got my line a bit off and took a chunk out of the turf with a 2.something penalty on the 4th lap. I had to lift a couple of times through the bus stop but missed all the walls every time. Was in P3 at one point but getting that penalty put me off for a couple of corners.

DR up, SR still 99 ... another day above DR 1 :D.

Finally get pole for race A, get knocked off twice in first two corners, quit race as now last. Get reset to D/E from B/A thanks a lot where are the clean racers today? In D/E i hope hehe. Another day on 1 manner point.
Did Race A with the D/Es had time for one lap quali, here you go have pole. Finish 15.5 seconds ahead of second and a clean race bonus. 15 manner points and up to D/D.

The colour of your car certainly matches your username

I'm sure I don't know what you mean?

All my cars used in dailys are black, usually matt, with the race number 13 and chopped fingers decal on the back and Royal Nasho if there's space. The game removes the numbers. I've started adding the Japanese elderly driver symbol as well. ;)

Goth is a term, at least in the UK, referring to a group of people who tend to wear all black, listen to 80s industrial/post-punk/alternative music as well as a few other stereotypes

Why the hell were you assigned a penalty right after the beginning of lap 3?

I got a small bump from behind... It didn't matter anyway, as the bumper got a 5 sec penalty. But it was unnecessary really, he didn't deserve the penalty either.

What's the secret to get below 0:51sec lap time in race A? ? ?

Try a really, really wide line on the entry to Turn 1, and aim to hit the apex very late.

For the hairpin, use all the track on the exit so you can accelerate as early as possible

The shifter helps in these cases. I set my shifter to second gear (or whatever's required) and bam, no disadvantage :D

I used to do that, but then I used it when I was quitting the pits during a Top 24 superstars qualy and the game crashed. I never did it again since then :nervous:

Well I went back on and eventually I improved my Gr2 DT Seaside time to a 1'27.822. How on earth someone managed a 1'27.3 I'll never know, even watching the replay doesn't help much, their car just looks faster.

Also no time to actually race now, not that I'm too bothered by that after being hit about earlier.

I never really found a pattern on the game crashing, so it wouldn't hurt to do it again :)

I mean, the last time the game crashed on me was entering a lobby so...

Yes it crashes when it wants to, even watching a replay can do it. There does not seem to be a pattern with who it disconnects before races either or at what particular point it does it at. :ouch:

Had a race on Dragons Trail in Gr.2 (I must be mad) and started 3rd, anyhow the 2 guys up front proceed to jostle throughout the 1st lap before colliding at the bus stop, one got away and the other dropped down the field. At the end of the race, the 1st place guy starts having a go at me saying how I rammed him???:lol:

Jump on for two races.
First race: Blue screened
Second race: Shunted into barrier on first lap at turn 4. Guy who shunts me (albeit he was hit from behind too) wins race, I get a massive penalty.

It's difficult to decide whether to laugh or turn into the Hulk.

cant believe it, I’m leading the Gr1 Nurburg gp in Sport mode, on the final lap out of 12 I get disconnected from the server, I mean Sports mode uses dedicated servers so disconnections shouldn’t happen.

What car were they using and what car are you using? During my race I found that the NSX seemed to pull away from the other two. I was constantly expecting to get passed but people seeming to copy me on the corners. Once through the corner they disappeared behind me.

The same as me, Lexus. Most of the top times are with that (at that time anyway). ;)
