Wow... I'm off the pace in GrB. I didn't bother to check the top times. I ran 2 qualifying laps and they felt pretty good so I joined the next race. Yeah, no I'm dead last

Irony.

I don't really know how to describe it better... there's a native term for that that doesn't have a real english translation
Basically you slide the two fingers of your peace sign across the other's head fast and hard

This is definitely getting off topic.

My recipe for success in race C:

1. Use Huracan
2. Shift at 8250 rpm
3. Push 95%
4. Profit

This car is very stable, consistent, confidence inspiring and easy to drive.
It's also quite fast, wears the tyres evenly and quite fuel efficient.

Had my first real annoyances with the penalty system in Race A yesterday, dropping to SR A after 24 days at SR S. Spinning car beside me taps me on the door and I get a penalty, divebomber door slams me and I get a penalty, I barely touch another cars bumper in a straight line and I get a penalty. Ugh.

You've never heard of the game "punch bug"? Played on road trips, you and the person next to you try to be the first to spot a VW bug. The first to see one shouts "PUNCH BUG!" and hits the arm of the person next to them .

I've heard that game called "Slug Bug" in the southern U.S.

Can you exit out if a race you've entered during the warm up period without taking a DR hit?

Well, did Race B. Why? Because I'm an idiot, and I had 19 SR to spend. Did a few laps pre-qualifying, then qualifying with the Evo. That gave me P8 in a mixed bag of DR/B, C and D. A DR/D was on pole .

The race started and it was pandemonium. There was one guy who had the drift down looking good, but he wasn't hitting the clipping points. I slowly eased passed him almost in slow motion. There was no obvious dirty driving, just somewhat ambitious driving. Finished P5 with no penalties. I must have done something wrong, no clean race bonus, and SR down a point.

So, DR up, SR down to 98, and my daily workout bonus, a GrB WRX. Another day above DR 1 :D.

I hate sport tires. I feel incredibly uncomfortable in the GrB race.

I am painfully off the pace with a best lap of 1:16.788. I've played with TC, Brake Balance and Torque Distribution, and the car (Hyundai) still features a lot of understeer.

I have also tried the NSX (redlined down the front stretch) and the RCZ (very oversteery).

Haven't tried the META that currently is the entire top 10 in the US yet (too hipster for that).

Uh... well first time i've seen 3 DR A+\SR S drivers and that's in a Race B.
But yeah it seem the Audi is the right car to go, big mistake bringing the Lancer

I like Sport Tires but Gr.B should have Race Hards after all they are Race Cars

Like you I'm only hitting the 1:16 Mark in the Focus. I can see where I'm losing time but this class doesn't make it easy to hit my marks. I'll keep working at it but the 1:15 range is probably as good as I can get. 1:14 with the Quattro is all top 10 in the US.

Have you played with feathering the brake and throttle at the same time as you turn in? Sometimes that can break a car loose and then you're feeding the throttle to rotate the car to fit the exit angle.

Why does this say mirror man? I said this. And yes I was. I really didn't slide too much, I mostly just was tight. The issue mostly was that it wouldn't turn, and when it finally did, it would start to slide.

Tyre type???
SS, sorry I just read the thread again

Awful Gr.B daily in the Asian server.
Went from 4th to 9th, then up to 2nd then got sabotaged and finished 7th.
All because of a scumbag driver in a WRX who kept ramming everyone into the wall.

Is that bad GR.B in Asia? ah Just join Willow Spring Nation Cup then, and maybe GR.4 if I want.
I think I see you yesterday or on this morning.

Haha.. my bad, I was going to respond to him but responded to you and forgot to clean the scripts.

Now you have me concerned about that race. I was looking forward to it because I had so much fun in the single player Rally League circuit that had a race on Willow Springs but that was probably using different tires.

Can you exit out if a race you've entered during the warm up period without taking a DR hit?

I think it's free for you to leave if you quit the game or disconnect during the loading screen when it shows who else is in the room but you lose a small amount of DR in the warm up period, I don't think it's a lot though. I can't say for sure though

No it still get big hit around 1-2K DR and 5-10 SR as far as I remember. But if disconnect when on loading screen it doesn't get any DR hit like inri said.

One make races everyday are getting old. I mean if their going to change up the other two with Gr 1-2-3-4 why not have three different races everyday none of the other classes have a race every single day IMO there needs to be way more variety sorry to the people who like the one make races But they don’t need them every single day

Thanks guys.
Reason I asked is I did a race B this morning with a qualifiing time of 1:13.4. PD put me in a room where I was only A driver 1 B and the rest were C's and D's. P2's qualifiing time was 2 sec slower than mine.
It wasn't fair to those other guys but I was afraid to exit because if a DR hit. Will never understand how or why PD groups us the way they do sometimes.

Thank you!
However, as far as I can recall, I tried that and I was just able to message him. But I shouldn’t be surprised if I missed something, or this is working the same as the penalties. Sometimes random ;)
That´s on the left window (what you´ve done.. messaging)... the reporting is done clickin on the window on the right, after final results.. when everybody is leaving the room... and choosing the Report option...

Qualified for Race B today. I don't have either the NSX nor the Audi Pikes Peak, so I tried the RCZ since it looks like a total badass
1:14.338 and I think that lap's perfect. I don't know how to improve :grumpy:

One make races wouldn't be monotone if they didn't re use same cars\stick with said car for many days.
I think the only One Make that i truly enjoyed was the Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Dragon's Trail. Although it used SS tyres, it was a N car different from the usual "safe" ones and that only lasted a day because it was part of Race B (which in fact that day 2 races were One Makes)

Race B is suicide I repeat Race B is suicide

People still don't know how to properly control Gr. B cars. Started on pole but optimistic people at T1 relegated me to 3rd. Down to SR 85 after some ping pong.

Also gained 1 DR.

Its a potential Dr killer (Gr.b), but still people race them. Like Monza, nordschleife and Tokyo

Thanks for the info, Dude! :)

And just in case you manage to be the 1st on the start (pole position) ?? That helps?? :)
