Wow.... i'm so stupid... that is unbeliveable...

Did race C. Started with shortshifting and decided no pit. driving last round on map 5. Started 8, was on place 4 now. Short before the finish line i got 0.2 fuel left. But it was not the finish line.... there came another round... damn. fuel was empty exactly on top of bathurst. Rolling downhill, lossing place 4, landed on 19. Cost me 2500 DR points in a clean race...

Well... remember the text from Chamillionaire... they see me rollin... they laughing... I will never ever do a sport race, shame is too big :D
 
Just got my SR back to S, time to spend it on Bathurst. Actually, I've been practicing mountain passing on Bathurst against the AI with Group B cars, so I should be golden.... right?

A few months ago I did a Race C at Bathurst. Was nearly running on fumes, got caught out by the chicane before the pits (I'd never pitted there before) and was re-spawned on the start/finish strait. Ran out of fuel just before the corner leading onto to mountain strait. Basically an entire lap at 80kph. Bathurst is a *long* track at 80kph :crazy:.

Check the replays, it'll flash away if on. One had CSA on too. It's not like this car needs it either, or that they are rubbish drivers because they are not, they can only be using because they think/know it's faster.

Yes asm is a default in my TT.

I made a mistake in my previous message. I want to write how do you know I am using asm. Haha

Ok, well I didn't know if you were using it or not, just that some of the fast guys were using it.

@ASH32 you are one of the fast guy too.:bowdown:

I feel that with asm the car is stable and easily to keep it on the track. It gave me more confidence in applying gas for earlier corner exit. Give it a try though I know the bad reputation of asm in GTP forum.:lol::lol::lol:

Did 4 races all pole. 3 victories and 1 pingpong. Overall lost 100dr and gained 1sr. Still SrB. Done today. Good luck mate.:gtpflag:

I suggest therapy of several starts at back, few seconds after everyone else, followed by smooth sailing for Sr, staying at the back.
High sr ensured, massacre of dr guaranteed :D

Or risk reset, it's really tough choice lol

Currently 7th in race B, absolutely buzzing! (Actually quite pissed about having dropped to DR B in previous days as Brands is the only circuit I would stand some chances in an A/A+ lobby)

Morons everywhere. Did one Clean Race and it was great! Last race i did 7 Clean rounds, climbed up from 10 to 5... and in lap 7 comes this guy from behind. Gives me headlights, pushed me twice, got everytime SR- and 1 sec penalty.... overtakes me inside downhill in the corner befor the sharp left one.... pushed me totally out of track... cant do anything, flying across the track again, pushed him hard, got 10 secs penalty and ended 14... Makes no longer fun in race C today....
 
The TT Cup is borderline boring. To me, it actually makes Brands Hatch a boring circuit.

My "pattern" is:

Turn 1 4th gear
hairpin 2nd gear - off throttle turn in, Turn 3 3rd gear
Turn 4 3rd gear trail brake
Turn 5 4th gear trail brake
Turn 6 4th gear
Turn 7 4th gear
Turn 8 3rd gear slow in, fast out
Final Turn 4th gear medium brake pick up throttle before apex
Repeat

Yeah I get you, FF cars in general feel like that on almost every track, but as long as it gives me wins (and surprisingly clean races too) I’m happy

On the flip side of my post, I got a handle on the car early. So, almost an advantage versus the people I've raced. Even with being bumped in a couple of races, I've caught up and made passes, to finish where I started and better. Easy car to master.

You've been too quick for me, it's been great to meet you though 👍. Your last race was my last race, so sadly no wins today :indiff:. Anyway, I've been in a room with A+/A drivers only for the very first time and I hope ( guess ) I haven't performed like a complete noob among you top guys.
