While driving a daily race I saw green bars besides the racernames. Mine was only a small red bar. I won that race, had a clean race, so what does those things mean ?

That's your internet connection strength - and with one red bar you must have looked like you were lagging all over the place to everyone else...

Well, these bars represent you internet connection strength. The more the merrer. But it's not very representative imo. On my side, I have red bars sometimes, even with a very strong connection...

Net connection. Red bars are bad connection. Green bars are best connections. Depends where you live how good the connection is.

I'm in Australia on the NBN. I never see Green bars. Highest, are all yellow for me.

You can use the shifter. Put in in 2nd gear and your problem is solved. If you dont have the shifter or even dont have a racing wheel than I cannot help you

Hey, good idea. Thanks. I do use a wheel, the T150, I will have to get a shifter.

I'm on cable (NBN hasn't reached us yet) and also only get yellow. I think it's less about the internet connection and more to do with the connection to the GTS server.

FYR I play in Europe with 3 bars from Asia. WiFi connection on PS4.

The GT86 on Tsukuba was really enjoyable and gave me a pole position and a race win.
It felt really good, since I don't think I have had more than one pole position and no wins at all at DR/B.
I always thought that I know Tsukuba like the back of my hand, but after doing the Circuit Experience when the track came to GT Sport, I noticed I've been taking some corners the wrong way. I'm now a lot faster, so thank you again Circuit Experience!

2:04.676 on Maggiore so far, that’s the closest I’ve ever been to alien territory on a proper track. Hopefully get a few poles with that time

As a new guy here can i have the "rules" in witch group car you got your fastest lap, if it was Gr4 (i really like the gr4 cars) i would love to get some setup tips for maggiore since im racing there in the Gtfr Gr4 class.

Most of them are these days, with just rubbish selections (quite often) or a good group/car but wrong track for it (like today) or a good track with a rubbish car in use to spoil it (like yesterday with the TT).

Gr.4 shouldn’t be as bad as faster classes, but turn 1 would scare me even in a sambabus one make so yeah, good luck man. I’ll also be on race b again as C will probably become incredibly repetitive after 8/10 laps (and thank god for the ghosted lapped cars)

Hmm, this one I like:
Golf VII GTI '14 @ Brands Hatch GP (4 Laps)
Don't think I can win there, because I'm not nearly fast enough on the fast consecutive corners at the back, but the GTI is a nice car to learn the track. Gonna spend a lot of time qualifying there

Basically the best car is the one in which you feel confident, so keep on trying. However, later on as time goes by, you can check the top10 list, what cars can achieve good times. But that doesn't necessarily mean it will fits you
