With the exception of the one race where I wasn't rear ended, what else can I do to show players behind, I'm braking?

Sure, not playing the game is one. The other is, my car has these two red things that light up , when I press the brake. Another is, appearing closer to them when those red things light up. Yet, one more is, multiple sets of those red things light up, from other player's cars. Wish I could change taillights to green, maybe that'll change some folks' reaction.

How can I lose SR for getting crashed into three times (not receiving a penalty for any of them) and cutting one corner all race? I've typically seen you guys' avoidance of Monza as an overreaction, but damn, it really does bring the worst out of the algorithm.

Yes, and Interlagos. Basically any track which has any number of very wide entry into a very slow corner after a fast straight will get you *bleep*ed on every time. The system doesn't seem to know that the person diving up the inside last minute is to blame. I mean, it can show you the racing line in a pretty graphic, and the braking point as 2 cones etc but it can't understand that the player waaaaaaay off line and braking waaaaaay past the cones is *possible* the one at fault.

Got win in Monza with clean race bonus after 2 diaster races.:yuck:

I didn’t think of clean race as I got the following incident in the first chicane.
After that bump and spin, I was placed away from the chicane exit as P1 and it gave me room to get away from the pack. 1st time I encounter it. Normally it put me at the middle of the chicane.

Edit: just broke my PB by 0.1 to 1:56.060. Still can’t break 55.:banghead::banghead::lol:

Not long to wait to find out now, going to do race C one more time before the change over, if i can manage the full race without nodding off that is. Back at SR C after the carnage at Monza where i was down to E...
Should have got 2nd ran out of fuel coming out of the last corner coasted over the line and was passed with about 30 yards to go so 3rd it is. 22 manner points though so up to B again already started his morning at E.

At least its not Monza or Nordschleife, will probably get them both tomorrow. On the plus side its the FIA events today so if the races aren't for you there is plenty of time to practice. Two one makes is never good though and the remaining race is one make anyway as the Supra is unbeatable on Blue Moon.

You right on Yamagiwa only lol.

Daily C: Toyota 86 - Suzuka | 8 Laps | Sports Medium.

Daily B or C for faster DR buff? need bringback my DR around 28K.

Yes!!

Have been watiing for a garage Toyota 86 race for a long time as now I can use some of my liveried cars in it!

Overall the last two day's daily races have been very good.

I thought I might be in severe trouble since my DR had gone so low but I had some very clean races and good battles over Thursday and
Friday and I have now improved darth_tails | 12756 / 99 (516 races) so I am back up to B rank but now the challenge will be to try and
keep improving so I hope today's races will allow that.

Did have two minor hiccups in a race at Monza and on Maggiore yesterday but I'll provide the video links for that later
as best to watch the action that happened.

What is up with these choices recently, I haven’t done daily’s in ages. Trying to get better at the game yet I can’t get the enthusiasm when the races don’t suit me!

And what is up with the Vulcans brakes! I’m sure that thing is essentially a race car willing to bet it’s brakes are much better irl!

Terrible races today. Why put a sports car in race C? Going to have to watch the stupid wedding on TV now.

It may not be the best choice of car for race C but it's something different and appeals to me because I like the non Grp2/3/4 races
and there are not enough of them.

At least I have an excuse to avoid the wedding - I'm working!

Yeah thats just my opinion on the subject. For others like yourself its something different to try.

No complaints from me :)

Good job man!

I found if you can stay on track, you're guaranteed to move a few positions - a number of cars either stuff up the first corner, Degner, or Spoon.

One race is enough for me. I qualified P4 and was following P1-P3 closely in the esses on the first lap. P5 behind me doesn't realise I can't go any faster because of the queue in front of me and bumps me 3 times through the esses, and then completes the job with a textbook outbrake yourself divebomb into the side of my door at the hairpin. Couldn't believe there was no penalty (I'm DRA, the divebomber DRB), but luckily only went down to 6th. Got back to 5th next lap, then karma helped me out a lap later. P2 crashed at 130R (and took out the brake cones), the driver that divebombed me then preceded to miss his braking point at wiped out himself and P3 at the final chicane. Took over P2 and eventually finished up 1.5 sec behind P1.

Felt like a really long race; 8 laps for a race time of ~21:22.

For anyone going this race, you don't have to worry about tyres or fuel, although the tyres a bit dodgy on the last lap.

Third time's a charm

I got a 3 second for door to door contact and I also spun at the underpass. Finished behind 2nd place by two-tenths of a second.

This lightweight 86 doesn't handle very well on SM. Ultra nervous and twitchy like a Squirrel on crystal meth.
Through the Esses I'm having trouble matching my pace from the stock one make race earlier in the week.

I haven't raced yet, only qualifying.

TCR Europe and WTCR on Zandvoort - if it can catch up with the wedding ;)
I raced one at Suzuka. I like that track and like that car (but the GRMN version is way more “race ready” though).
Started from pole, surprised by the grid start but survived (was 1st time for me), so I can not tell if it was clear or not in the pack. But lapping that track with that car is not bad at all.

Just be smooth. Seriously. Smooth throttle. Smooth steering. I can just about keep the throttle on through the esses. Lightly lift(dont lift off, don't down shift ) the throttle just before 130R. Carries so much speed.

Well, I'm done. I told my wife I'm buying an 86. Edit: She said, "Yeah. I like those."

Best event I've raced. Got my monies worth tonight.

Lucky man. :D
But be warned; we had the same conversation on a used Mazda 323 GT-R some 15 years ago. That car was a childhood favourite (as I prefer rally over track) of mine.
Still have them both ;)
