Dislike the track and also no love for Gr2.

Ok, I’m in!
Qualifying, I learn that a) you can get the car entirely upside down. And b) the car will not go into crowd lining the back straight (bank is too steep).

Qualify a lousy 14th.
End of lap 1, I’m up to to 4th.....whaaaa???
Just by taking it easy and watching everyone else fall off.
I let any hot-heads past with no challenge. Most promptly take each other out.
Finish 6th, just by tootling around and getting out of other players way.

Btw anyone notice how RC_Miura is topping every day's EU leaderboard by multiple tenths every day??? He must be a hacker trying not to look too suspicious :P...thinking of it reminded me of this

Haha you are right. I didn't bother to qualify and finish fifth. I don't even think I'm going to qualify today seeing how the cars in front of me get punted off in T1.
 
Anyone know why these numbers do not match when you start a qualification round ? You can see my record is 2.08.458 that I drove with the same vehicle. Yes the Best is 2.11 when I start this new session. I would assume the OPT would be calculated from the laps that made up the session when the record was minted.

Anyone else noticed this ?

Well, Willow Springs was a mess for me. I love that track but the GR2 Lexus behaves strangely there. Twice, while coming down the hill, the car just jutted awkwardly off of the inside and rammed another player. Totally embarrassing and I don't understand why the car behaved that way. I know low speed turning is weird in that thing, but to have it jump sideways was bizarre.
 
Victory is mine at Dragon Trail Gardens! I qualified 2nd with a crummy lap, took the lead out of the first chicane and never looked back. I've been trying since early this morning to have some success. It was muted though. I'm rated B/S and the driver qualified on pole was A/S. Get this, I lost almost 500 DR points and got booted down to SR/A. Fast lap, zero penalties, zero off course, zero contact, and I didn't even get the clean race bonus.

Oh well, a little screenshot will make me feel all better. :cheers:

Did 8 Race B and got 5 wins.
Crawled back to DR:A SR99 and the last race was a nail-biting thriller!!
After 3 consecutive lost to Ponzu, I finally found a way past him!
All top 3 were so close though there's no red dot!! Love this race so I want to share with you guys.
made a mistake on lap 5 but Ponzu was so gentle not to force his way through. Good manner!!

Your optimum is from that session only, same as your ghost, even if you have a previously faster time.

Congrats from another QM Exile ;). Been there too with the same results :D. Stopped after two races though ...
that RCZ sponge wasn't exactly inspiring :lol:.

Why is the RCZ race only 10 cars? The track is long enough for a full grid of 20.

Your timing tracker is set to 'Car record'. So the optimal time is calculated including all best sectors in all sessions. Not only the session when you hit that record. 👍
 
Are we allowed tuning? I just bought an MX-5. The game asked for me to adjust power. I used ME to boost power to 244.BoP adjusted to 196. Then, I picked SS tyres. Is this the same for everyone?
 
No Tuning you must adjust to the setting given but they are then locked in, no further tweaking allowed. The standard car is N100 must be tuned up to N200.
 
I enjoyed Race C. Got 3rd from 8th, in the first race. Starting from 16th in this current one.
 
Had some fun at Brands Hatch, three very close fair races. No wins for me, but am loving sport mode now after a break of a couple of months.
