I don't get what's up with the R.S. 01. It's slippier and sort of more lairy than your normal Gr. 3, and power delivery is weird. Yet I kept posting best laps that's within 1/10th of my qualifying, consistently! I'm more consistent in this car than in a Gr. 3, wth :lol:
 
What a stupid idea to even dare to enter race C. I used the Red Bull X2014 Junior for the first time on my own 'gaming setup' after having driven it at the Nürburgring GT Sport event for the first time ever in GT Sport. I enjoy it now much more. Probably because I have more time at home to become used to the special handling of the car. Normally I use bumper cam but I felt more comfortable using cockpit view with this car.

Started the race on P4 and ended up on P11 as I've been pushed 2-3 times off the track. From 99 SR down to 79 in one race... I've learned my lesson. :cheers: Back to the Porsche GT3 RS on Nordschleife for me! :dopey:
 
Hmm I'm getting dangerously close to not caring anymore. First race on Nordschleife went ok ish, dropped to last at the start as the car in front of me started braking after the auto drive for no reason, had to evade and let everyone pass. Then it was just a matter of avoiding the mess. Too much mess to avoid, didn't get to finish the race too far behind first.

Second race, the car in front of me gambles to drive through a car serving a penalty which goes solid right in front of his bumper, he instantly loses all speed (comedy physics, lag was involved) I can't avoid, 10 sec for me, nothing for the DR.B who hit the penalty car of course. Then 20 seconds later there is a huge mess in front, I have to dive into the grass to avoid since these sloppy brakes don't cut it. I lose more positions while avoiding everyone and get rewarded with 5 sec extra for 'shortcut'. I just let the timer run up and disqualify me, done with serving penalties I have zero control over.

Next race disconnected at the start. My patience is wearing thin. How's Detroit become human...

On the plus side, I'm closer to DR.B again :/

Edit: I did one more race. Collision before the start line in front of me, again I have to evade and drop to last but I made it back to 2nd passing wrecks... Finished 3rd due to evade 'shortcut' penalties. I'm not feeling it tonight, Netflix time.

The Interlagos race is incredibly fun today, but unfortunately it is also very dirty

I got wrecked (and got a BS penalty for getting wrecked), and rage quit. Now I am dangerously close to my first ever "SR reset". I want to race again, but I don't wanna risk it...:nervous::(:nervous::(:banghead::banghead::ouch::ouch::O:O:scared::scared:

I feel ya. Been through 2 resets now and I'm losing motivation by the day :(

I really shouldn't again, but I am furious that I haven't won a race yet. I've been so close some races (One string of three 2nd place finishes which were all clean races), and other strings of races I got wrecked repeatedly.

Edit - I'm gonna try for a win again, pray for me yall I don't get reset! Haha

5 resets for me, still motivated but as I said earlier in this thread, I now run only the combos that I'm very confident with ;). I won't risk my DR anymore lol

I cant believe how dirty this race is. I've fallen to Sr C. I get dive bombed left and right!

I can't believe I haven't been reset yet.

I won pole earlier, but I got slammed offline and got a penalty so I couldn't win the race.

I'm doing one more race, this will be my first Sr C since day one... I need to win this race, I've been so close.

You gotta be picky with the races, all 3 are dr killers, I avoid them as much as possible since my reset, hoping tonight they give us better dailies. And why can you only gain 5 Sr max in a race?

Won from pole! I got wrecked 700 times in that race, but I'm back to Sr B.

I'm gonna test my luck and do a couple more races. I cannot wait for the day I get back to Sr S, this Sr C race was horrible! Everyone in that room should feel bad for their behavior. Purpously trying to spin people, pushing people off track. This isnt gta man. The worst racing I've ever seen on GTS. I should have been saving replays or saving video today, it's that bad. And a lot of the time, I'm getting penalized for other people's crap.

2 hours until the next daily; hopefully it'll be a bit better for our SR :)
 
Anyone noticed how RedBull's tires turn into oily potatoes in race, compared to qualifier?
I mean, even by T1 in the first lap when tires are brand new, it feels like car will slide off any second.. Way more discrepancy than Gr1-4 cars..

Not sure what's up with the Jr Red Bull on Suzuka. Everywhere it feels fine, but in the esses it suddenly drives like a hoverkart.
 
Your daily races 28/5/18

RACE A: MAGGIORE CENTRE, RENAULT CLIO, 8 LAPS.

RACE B: DRAGON TRAIL GARDENS, GR.4, 5 LAPS. Evo currently leaderboard car of choice*.

RACE C: MONZA, GR.3 (ONE MAKE MUSTANG (HEHE), 9 LAPS, FUEL 6, TYRES 9. Mustang currently leaderboard car of choice*.

*As of 13:30 GMT.

Catching up after the intense racing from Sunday as have been doing Race C most of Sunday due to it being
the Red Bull X2014 Junior.

Some fairly chaotic races as expected but it has improved my DR up to 7607 and my SR is back to 99 so I have no
complaints, had been hoping might pull some wins but kept getting matched with higher level players and also
making too mistakes but it was fun trying.

Glad today is back to some sort of normality though as all the one make races yesterday were a bit intense.

Now back to qualifying for today's races...

Met the most courteous guy I've ever played with so far. Had some no-contact side-by-side racing. Not once in our entire battle did either side concur a penalty! He was able to overtake me, on the Ascari, outside, cleanly with no contact. That's S-class etiquette right there! And when there was no more overlap he flashed his indicators once, I think it's a thank you :)
Going into T1 as well he would indicate where he would go. Honestly I think doing that is a really big disadvantage, but his respect is amazing! Sadly he made an error out of parabolica mid-race and didn't see him again :( no doubt I was looking at the leaderboard 90% of the time looking for his name :lol: he finished 3rd :)

I don't understand how the Red Bull X2014 Junior works. At first the steering feels progressive, then at a certain point the steering becomes too sensitive for me and I can't handle it. The unpredictability is not comfortable for me to live with. In addition, the downforce only works at high speeds and the tyres only have a certain grip range before it spins. Not a very forgiving car at all.

That is awesome for you, I also had a good race, started on pole but made minor mistakes and finished 3rd with a clean group of racers
 
Had a blast doing race A all day yesterday. Got quite a few wins from pole but also a few after faster guys had crashed out.
I only had one real incident all day when I got distracted by a ghosted competitor spinning out in a fast braking zone.

I was a nervous wreck after each race though. 500 HP and SH on the Ring can be quite scary, especially if you're in the lead and the gap is closing.

Closing in on 50K Dr points.
