Same here :( the suspension's too stiff, I think. I can carry much more speed than a normal Gr. 3 though

I also hate the power delivery. It's so weird

Are you using CSA?

Edit: I think the suspension is too soft. If it was too hard, wouldn't it bounce or just lift up on the kerbs?

Edit 2: for some reason I always thought racing kerbs were spelled as I've just spelled them, with a normal street kerb being spelled as curb. I just looked it up, and apparently it's always spelled as curb in NA and kerb in the UK. For some reason I'm accustomed to using the UK spelling

Yup, I'm a CSA plebian :D
What I was thinking is that because it would bounce on the kerbs, the tires lose contact with the ground and that causes oversteer. Not much I know about tuning though, so that's just my opinion

I am not sure either. Just my thoughts as well.

I tried CSA on weak just now (have not used since I made that one post where I compared times with and without it)

I just felt tighter, and still kinda spinning on the kerbs. I'm going to try one race right now (without it) then watch the F1 race. I might try more later... but idk. I really do not like this car. This is one of the few times I wish we could tune.

My world record lap from yesterday's Daily Race B.

Very good job. What was your best partial time? I'm just wondering because I could do better sector 1 and 4 with Mitsubishi. I managed to do only 1:54.5 but I never nailed my lap time properly, I never do. I could have done 1:54 flat but that's about it. I'm losing a bit in the straights because it's not possible to attack the curbs as much with lancer.

Can confirm it's great fun, can more A+ guys in Europe enter please so my DR doesn't fall off a cliff if I was to finish 2nd

If you can keep it on the track :scared:! I just did 2 laps prequalify and its pretty slippy. I can see how this race is going to go down, it's going to be a war of attrition .

I got my first win in I think over a month! I only do about a race a day, usually Race C. I love the track/car combo so I new going in I had a good shot at it. Qualified P2. Pole sitter was quite a bit faster, but he spun himself out on the first lap. I was impressed as I saw him drop to 13th and claw his way back up to 2nd, only to spin out again... But he ended up coming a solid 3rd.

Make a second account if you want to race daylies but not risk your 75k

I did it already even my DR doesn't matter.

But I must say, after a while it feels stupid to race with subaccounts. After I raised my second to A+ also, and third to high A, I left it and race mostly with my main again, except of trying out new stuff like Gardens II yesterday.

It has a weird funny feel!
I didn’t use CSA so I can not compare.
Did a few laps on it, still struggling with brake balance but found out that is better to shift at 6500rpm than push all the way to the red line... did a decent time but I feel there’s at least one second to take out there!

I am not sure either. Just my thoughts as well.

A Daily Race A that a) is on Nordschleife and b) isn't in a slow, understeer to hell FF car?

Count me in for the first time since launch

Problem is, it has no brakes either! I'll be racing it later yet I might 'forget' to qualify and simply pass all the cars that fly off. Is it a standing start or is everyone already pan caked before the start getting launched into the last turn :)

I decided not to use CSA for the race. Always makes me too tight

This race was insane. I had a low Sr S score when entering so it was a mixed field of Dr A-D. In my first ever standing start in GTS, I started 7th, fell back to 10th by turn two and finished 2nd. I think I could have won this race if it was longer!

A lot of penalties in the race, I didn't recieve any but I thought I was going to on lap 3. I held my line and someone tried to pinch me off, and made contact with me and spun out.

Maybe I will try a few more races after the F1 race :D

Ya should see the damage Bronze! Metal damage! Brain damage! Yes, I did indeed enter the grinder that is Nurburgring Nordschleife. My two laps prequal got me an 8:02, which was enough to net me P4 in a grid of 12 with 3 DR/B and the rest DR/D. I could have gotten a sub 8min lap, but I'd have still been P4. P3 had 10s up on me.

I survived some of the early carnage and was in P1 very briefly before I was mugged for being too cautious. I got rear ended a few times, but to be honest, the brakes on the RS are pretty poor compared to the RSR. They couldn't help but hit me unless they hung back. One guy was patient and waited for me to drift a little wide then dived through cleanly. I had a 5s gap to the Karussell, but that dropped when I was held up by the two guys in front and I dropped back a little so I didn't hit them :scared:. I managed to pull that back again once I hit the second Karussell like turn. Finished P4.

DR up 400 odd, SR down 2. Not a bad result considering I was expecting to get booted down to SR/A and a massive loss of DR. :dopey:

Oh, I just realized that with the wonky time schedule of Race A there should be enough time to re-qualify in between the :40 and :05 race. Gonna be fun tonight! No wait time between the :25 and :40, re- qualify between :40 and 0:05, little break between :05 and :25. Perfect.

I tried the Renault/Interlagos twice.....total idiot fests. In both attempts, despite treading very lightly, I finished lap 1 of both races with 5-8s penalties accrued. My SR dropped from B to E over the space of two races... :-(
If you care about SR/DR - AVOID!

The Suzuka went better. Qualified 8th, got stuck behind some A-hole in 2nd who would simply weave side to side to prevent any passing attempt (whilst letting the leader move on to a 10s lead by mid-race). Was patient for 4 laps, then passed and narrowly avoided A-hole’s deliberate torpedo attempt; and finish just 4s behind 1st place. SR back to B (in just one race!) and A-hole DNF.

Race B is the the rat run of the races. Quick races of 4 or 5 laps full of people more desperate to do better in the race. Yes race B can be a fun race but you take it with a grain of salt.

TCS 1 is the option for standing start.👍

At the top level it's better not to use TC 1 becausr the car bogs down, and the turbo lag doesn't help either. The launch varies from person to person, but for me I hang it at 4-5k RPMs, and then floor it when I feel the tires bite down

I learned that TC 1 isn't the way to go the hard way. Dropped from first to third because of the launch

I'm not sure what went through my mind when I entered Race C. I hadn't intended to. I did about 4 or 5 laps of prequalify, and knew that my time was pretty slow. I figured I'd be a danger to myself and others, and yet I clicked that "enter race" button anyway.. a bit like a train wreck you shouldn't look at, but do anyway... :dunce:. I qualified P11 in a mixed grid of DR B, C and D.

Usually I seem to do well on standing starts, but not this time. I lost about 5 places before the first corner, and another couple from dive bombers at the first corner :scared:. I got to the esses in P15. I just focused on staying on the track, and that helped. I got up to P10 by lap 4 and swapped between P10 and P11 for the rest of the race. Obviously the person in P11 was fast and I was too conservative, because with on lap 8 I had an 11s lead, and by the long strait they passed me on the final lap. So P11 for me with no penalties.

DR down by less than 200, SR back up to 99 . Another day above DR 1 :D.

Thanks alpha. I will try it next time.

Sector 1: 32:550
Sector 2: 27:772
Sector 3: 25:405
Sector 4: 28:170

My optimal lap was a 1:53,706. My personal best lap here is a 1:53,679 with the M6, but that was with the old 98%/102% BoP.

I'm not very compatible with daily races with real life courses except for Suzuka and Big Willow. This is why i can't win them. In fact, I shall never race in them again.

Thanks for the info. Quite a clean lap then. You're too fast. The M6 was indeed a bit OP here :D 2nd sector is the worst for me. 28:000 was the best I could do. At the last sector I was surprisingly fast 28:000 there. I need to try a faster straight line speed car next time, Supra seems to be balanced here. Mercedes is another good one here I wonder why no one is using it?

I also wonder why no one was using the Supra. It's quite a good car at Maggiore. I was trying something different, because I don't want to use all the time the mainstream cars like the Porsche xD

I tried it yesterday. The car feels great, very balanced and easy to drive. I put in a few good laps and was surprised that I was six tenths over my personal best(Supra). Even my optimum time wasn’t close. Not sure where I lost time with it.

7 months into GT Sport and some Daily Races still start you rolling in 1st gear, bouncing off the limiter when you have Pole position. How.. why...

Honestly, it's the stupid little things like this that will kill Sport Mode for me. Such an easy fix, and yet I'm forced to either use AT, or block 2nd place just to keep my position.

I feel it might not be quite as fast as supra but close. Gearing is long and without the turbo power curve isn't optimal at every corner. Acceleration is compromised if you don't get it right coming our of corners. So you need to be very precise at some points. Top end is good.

That Red Bull thingy is so fun to drive!

Standing start on race C , started p6 and managed to avoid havoc on the outside of t1 by going in, suddenly p3 :D
P2 was doing every trick in the pocket to zigzag and slow me down for next 4 laps.. The pack quickly caught up by the bridge chicane, I get rammed out from behind on u-turn after the bridge (4s reward) .
Somehow managed to coast to p6 in the end.
It's really sad to see people zigzaging on straights to avoid overtakes..

One weird thing caught my eye tho: driver that was behind me tried to exploit his ghosting and was inside my car, literally, for at least 3 turns after the bridge. I'm pretty sure that as soon as hee would get ahead, he would unghost.

500 dr and 15 sr:dopey:
