I see the Nissan GT-R topping the leaderboards and I'm like:

Honestly, it's way too good in fast corners (especially the Porsche curves), very fast on the straights and deserves a BoP specifically for Le Mans (tiny bit less power, like a 1% decrease, and some more weight than usual).

I don't think its hybrid system is even well implemented :lol: the hybrid is supposed to kick in at the rear to help the car rotate and have a neutral balance, but instead in GTS it's all at the front. Maybe this is their version of nerfing the GT-R? But then again it's still a bit too fast :lol:

Good thing I just bought this thing yesterday :)
Even though I never use Meta cars and won't race LeMans due to its stupid track limits.

But I do love Race A and B today! Cant wait for DT Gardens :D

Agreed group c should be separated, and a major buff to the gtr nismo, didn't they catch on fire and not do that good? Did they even finish?

Interestingly I just tried time trial without entering with 3 cars, the R92CP, the Bugatti and the Toyota. I did about as good as I can manage at my skill level, and surprisingly I couldn't beat my time set with the R92CP with the other two. I might even give it a crack. The key I think with la Sarthe is not getting penalties.

I have only been able to do one race without penalties, it's a togh one. Just about the whole room gets penalties also
 
How's DT on sr today? XD

Nvm, did terrible mistake and went for it. Start p3, first lap , last turn , guy 1s behind t-bones me from inside without braking.. Seriously, that's B/A!
End up with orange sr and 2s from that.
Held 3rd cleanly, no cars close till I had to let go of throttle 50m before finish, giving away 3rd and finishing 4th.
Red sr (-3) for me.
The rammer? Upgraded to S lolol:lol::banghead:

The nissan gtr nismo 2015 was a very slow car. From what I've read their hybrid system was based more in fantasy than reality.

It was 20s off the pace in real life at le mans, but is now topping the leader boards in GT Sport??? :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I would find the performance discrepancy easier to reconcile if they just called it a "Vision GT". Thats where the fantasy cars go isn't it?
 
Just finished a very disappointing Race B. I was going to use the 4C, but tried a few others and got a better time with the black bird, so the RSR it was. In a grid of DR/C and D i qualified P10. I was hoping for better :yuck:.

The race started and it was more like a crash derby than a race. It was one of the few races I've been in where I can honestly say there were dirty drivers deliberately slamming into people and running them off the track. I finished the race bruised and battered in P12.

Dropped 10 SR and down another 640 DR. :grumpy:

Anyone else struggling with the Hybrids because they can't properly contain the power at the exits?

Either I'm too careful and then too slow or or go on the gas way too much and car understeers and I don't make the corner. Because of that I'm legit faster with the Mazda VGT because it is so much more comfortable to drive
 
And the tumble down continues. Race C was very unkind. Since the best time I could manage was in the R92CP, that's what I raced. But my best time was apparently still crap, so I qualified P11. The grid was primarily DR/B with a mix of SR/S and A. 4 x DR/C, a D and an A/A. I think DP is telling me to go pound sand :crazy:.

The race starts and I immediately get mauled by Audis and Porsches. They bullied their way through the chicanes and tight corners. I also discovered that their brakes are *way* better than mine :scared:. I did have 2 things going for me. It does 3 laps before needing fuel, and it eats the rest of the cars for breakfast on the straits. I finished P14.

Despite only seeing one orange SR, I lost another 7 points. DR down another 385. One more loss like that and its 2k down and the holiday is over. One more day visiting DR/C. :D

Down to a 3.22.268 and im about done could maybe find a second or 2 but not 4-5 to make top 10 and definately not 6.5 to get near the top guy haha. Plus its way late for trying to put fast laps together on 3 hours sleep.

Did manage a win in the audi with I think the rest of the top 10 being in the 919

3:20:60 in the Nismo. That car becomes a blast to drive when you get the hang of it. There is no way I’m gonna use it in an actual race though. I can’t get under 3:22 in any of the hybrids. Will try the Audi and Peugeot next.
