And the tumble down continues. Race C was very unkind. Since the best time I could manage was in the R92CP, that's what I raced. But my best time was apparently still crap, so I qualified P11. The grid was primarily DR/B with a mix of SR/S and A. 4 x DR/C, a D and an A/A. I think DP is telling me to go pound sand :crazy:.

The race starts and I immediately get mauled by Audis and Porsches. They bullied their way through the chicanes and tight corners. I also discovered that their brakes are *way* better than mine :scared:. I did have 2 things going for me. It does 3 laps before needing fuel, and it eats the rest of the cars for breakfast on the straits. I finished P14.

Despite only seeing one orange SR, I lost another 7 points. DR down another 385. One more loss like that and its 2k down and the holiday is over. One more day visiting DR/C. :D

Race A was so bad. Started 2nd. Beat P1 off the line with TCS 1. I lead all the way to THE main straight. I look behind and everyone has the red strip of death.

2nd place got such a run from using the run off, caught to me at the first chicane. We battled all the way to the Porsche Curves. At the final chicanes, we both cut the first ine from trying to outbraked the other. Mind you, he had a penalty, but I guess it was a chest beating thing.

Anyway, as he slows to serve his penalty, I am just about to cross the finish and up pops the red letters of doom. I win with a 3 second penalty, to Second places 2 second penalty!

Race A is one lap with the VW Golf VII GTI '14 at Circuit de la Sarthe, standing start.

Jeez we had the Golf about two weeks ago for race A.
 
Hey guys, I've updated the Daily races calendar but unfortunately we can't find the rest of the week. Maybe that that something new is coming tomorrow (FIA?) and that screwed up the urls...

Also: Race A - US ranking board - How is it possible for the same psn name to appear 2 times on the board? I checked and they are actually not the same (I checked urls to make the difference) but they are written in the same way :rollingeyes: ???

could one be a capital I and one be a lower case l (L)?
In some fonts, they look the same

EDIT: Just checked. It is true that one of them includes a capital I and the other a lower case l

Saturday looks like a good day to me this week, all races looking good that day, but some very interesting combos indeed
 
Race C thursday 2 miles longer than todays Race C. Mayba a GR3 or car just as fast round Yamagiwa+Miyabi.

Gr3 Tsukuba on Thursday and Gr4 at Le Mans on Friday are the absolute dullest combinations PD could possibly come up with :lol:

Interesting that a car with Racing Hards is on Daily A at the end of the week.
 
Oh Luuuucy! I'm hoooooome! Did race A. Didn't qualify, Started P11. Only 4 people qualified. The grid was DR/A and B with 2 Cs.

Was doing not too bad till I missed my brake point at the first chicane due to no cones (yeh, bit me in the bum) and slammed into the concrete. Penalty for that. Finished P11. No SR increase, and back to DR/D. I knew it had to happen sooner or later. Home again home again jiggety jig! :dopey:

I've been doing race A today. Due to first corner, and first chicane, shenanigans I've went from BS to BC. It's a bit odd that the BC races are cleaner than any of the others.

Not really. Anyone who is B/C is probably afraid of being reset leading them to be over cautious. Alternatively, if they are dirty, they probably were reset and thus you are less likely to be matched with them.
 
I had to put auto-drive on while I was leaving the pits in race C earlier which lead to something I've not seen before.

I was in the pits when I had to leave, so I first tried to put it on in there. Seems you can't do that there, but I'd already started to leave the room and the car coasted out of the pits, so I went back very quickly to switch it back on. Did what I had to do, was away maybe 10 or 15s, returned and saw I was back a number of places as I expected but what can you do. What I wasn't expecting is that I and the players around me all now had penalties.

Figured something odd must've happened, so explained post race, and saved the replay.

The second I turned autodrive on it immediately bloody decided to cut right across onto the racing line blocking incoming traffic! There was contact. Keep in mind the car was coasting out of the pits when i turned it on. This obviously gave me a penalty and also penalised those who couldn't avoid it!
