I got disconnected for 2 races in a row now

Today's a bad day for me... (It's 12AM now it's technically a new day)
My TV turned off TWICE during the race! It was horrifying :nervous: I did hit someone while my TV was off, but thankfully they were willing to listen and forgave me for that. Gonna sort out my TV issues before I go back to GTS

See how good the lower rated drivers are and see how high I can rank starting from the back all the time. I'm not mad though, I'll only do it on Race C's (mainly good combos too) and will get some practice in on my main account first. Doing this I can also practice fuel saving, as you'll have to do that to make good progress I would assume, what with all the cars to pass. I'll also have to be very careful too, especially until I get to the better rooms, I don't want to be ruining anyone's race by accidently bumping them because I'm actually a good few seconds a lap quicker. :lol:

Of course I'll have to get a bit of money first for the cars, completing all the circuit challenges and stuff should help and I'll sign for Renault (even though I won't race the FIA stuff) as that'll give me two good cars for a start. :cool:

The good thing about is you can draft pretty much the entire race, hop from one car to the next! Super fuel save run. Remember to start slow as matchmaking will usually put you behind D/S drivers. I let the dust settle for a minute or two before actually starting to overtake, just pass wrecks at first. Getting in the middle of a group isn't a good idea in lap 1, too easy to get caught up in an accident.
 
I broke my (new) rule and qualified this morning at BB Raceway. I could have nabbed pole position but got paired with Turismo-Lester and some other S/S person. I started 3rd with an A/S driver right behind me. I figured that maybe 4th was the best I was going to do. Somehow Lester had an issue and spun, and I moved up to second, while the people behind me were still sorting themselves out. I would have had a clean race except for a self-inflicted penalty. It felt pretty good to be in such fast company. SR steady at 99, DR up 700 points.
 
I had a go with the Sauber for a few laps in qualifying time trial. I was able to do the same sort of times as I did with the Tomahawk. Might have been interesting during the race. Turns nicely in the chicanes. :D
 
Every single driver just got disconnected from the Daily race A. Hope we don't have server problems, again.

Laptimes more spread out in Gr1 so the plebs who cut the corner don't have as much of an impact on the leaderboard as say Gr4.

Is it possible to cut the last chicane? I thought that was only possible in Gr.3 and Gr.4

At the end I was able to improve my lap to a 3:17,317, again with the Audi. Maybe a high 3:16 is possible if I do absolutely everything right. At least I've the world record for the fastest non long boi at Le Mans haha.

Btw, I absolutely hate that #%$@& Nismo XD
 
Race A - Audi TTS Coupe '14 - 5 Laps at Tokyo Central Outer Loop
Race B - GR 4 - 4 Laps at Suzuka Circuit
Race C - GR 2 - 9 Laps at Mount Panorama [Fuel x 8, Tires x 10]
 
Due to the disconnection form FIA on Wed my Dr and Sr downed to 1500 and 94 respectively.

Thought of regaining some Dr Sr back through race B. So raced twice, but finished once, at race B. Got 5th in 1st race which net me 500 Dr and 5 Sr. 2nd race on course to cross the line at 5th again in last lap, below msg pumped up. Just checked, lost another 1500 Dr. :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

In total 3 races I entered, finished once and disconnected twice. Costed me net -2500 Dr. :banghead::banghead::banghead::grumpy:

Turned off the game immediately. Don’t want to see this screen anymore.:ouch::ouch::ouch:

I thought I'd share my experience from yesterday's Race C :dopey:

Didn't have a good quali time so i usually started from P10 or lower. I chose the TS050 because it's fuel economy.
First few races I did poorly and finished 14th and 13th. Made a few mistakes got brake checked etc.. :rolleyes:
For some reason I got paired with DR C drivers but whatever.
On my last race I got paired DR D drivers and started from P2. After Lap 2 the Mazdas in front of me pitted but I stayed out since I had more fuel left (pitted for fuel only after Lap 3) and pretty much cruised my way to victory :D

You can also count me in that category as looking forward to the schedule for a week's time as well as if the new Kei cars are in the one make races I will be doing them all.

Glad to see a more sane car for the one make race the Audi TT today so that should be interesting one for the weekend.
 
Gr 2 around Bathurst is crazy fun! So much grip/downforce across the top of the mountain. Just two races for me today before more aliens turn up, and then finished off with some hot-lapping from what I learnt during the races.

Great combo for those that want to be brave!
