Congratulations on your win.yesterdays G3 oval racing was annoying at times got punted off 4 times and lots of pushing out, however it did improve when my DR and SR recovered and I was eventually rewarded with a win
No, not to do with your English which is very good..
No, I wanted to ask because on the top 10 (it must have been Gr. 1 Dragon Trail) I recognised your PSN from your username here and noted that you were German (which I didn't know before as you don't have a flag by your name). It may have only been in top 10 for a short period, but you were definitely there.
Whaaaaat? And i missed itDamn, no screenshot ffs. Thx for let me know this. Saturday was a awesome racing day!
I'm sure it will be the 911 tonight. I would usually use that but may try the RCF though given your experience with it...
TCS on or are you a purist? The RCF feels a bit twitchy, but damn fast around the slow corners at Nürburgring.
I was surprised that I got pole, the fastest lap and the win against BS and AS driver with ease last week.![]()
TCS on or are you a purist?
I drive with a pad! So mostly TCS at 2 (M6 or 458 at 3 though)![]()
And now you have added your flag.
Edit: maybe it was during a qualifying session you were doing, so you didn't notice.
I've got nine wins so far in my GTS career. Of those nine, five have come at Interlagos (Gr3 = 3 wins, Gr4 = 2 wins), but none yet at the Gr1 level. Thus far has been a struggle for me with Gr1. I'm not even sure if I have managed a top five or ten at any track in Gr1.
I still can't find a car I'm conformable with in Gr1. With Gr3/4, I religiously drive Dodge Viper, but I have not found the same success with the Dodge Tomahawk in Gr1. The Tomahawk has terrible acceleration. Off any corner, I get blown by. I've tried the Hyundai, and it's okay, but still not very comfortable.
I don't really want to use the Porsche or Mazda because I feel like everyone uses them.
Hopefully the Feb. update will balance the class out.
Same! Any RWD has to be on 2 or it's a waste of time. OK, may give that a try tonight then. I think it will be the only race I do, so I can put some time into it.
@banckzy see you got back up to A over the weekend, well done... which races did you do?
I said earlier mate?
smashed the scirocco out last night... two wins a row, 5 podiums and thats about it haha
Sure it is in your garage?I'm having a weird issue, I tried to do the Interlagos race and bought the Mazda LM55 to give that a go, however when I go to start qualifying and pick a car the Mazda is not available but I own it (top of the screen 1st image) 2nd image shows the cars that are available. Any ideas, I have restarted the game twice and restored licenses?
That Mazda you have is a Group X version NOT the Gr. 1
I had the same thing last week where I thought I had it. Go to the Mazda shop in Brand Central and you will see the Gr. 1 does not have a blue tick next to it.
Edit: the page that it is bringing up when you click to enter shows all of your group 1 cars (i.e anything you own that is valid for the race).
You have plenty of credits to afford it anyway.. 1m
Group 3 Nurburgring GPWhat is race B today? Thanks.
Good luckTrying Race C now. Done 25 quali laps and ended on 1.20.2... not so good... maybe i skip the next races and do qualifying for an hour... Lets take a look how the pack is in there...
I love the RC F (both Gr3 and Gr4), has a lot of acceleration which works on Nurb GP, don't know why it isn't more popular. The Lexus just seem to be the ultimate underdog at the Nürburgring GP![]()
I'm going to give the 650S another run, PD really needs to make that car more competitive. After I do the FIA races I’m going to be on the Nurb all evening in race B. GR3 on that track is one of my favorite combos. Probably switching between the AMG and the 458.
I agree to this point. I've really enjoyed the one make races and recently the Group 1 cars on short(er) Tracks. If I don't get lucky and set a good qualifying time I'm usually top 8 in the grid. HOWEVER...i've noticed a recurring pattern if you avoid 1st corner carnage and end up lapping back markers they will swerve and try and ram you off - why? I have also noticed nationality seems to be an issue though that may be down to the region more than anything else...I don't want a union jack on me - seems like a targetGreat idea for a thread. Should be stickied.
Rating means nothing. People "boost" to get high ratings fast and don't achieve them through proper racing etiquette, so you never know who's truly clean or not.
Wow, what a race today. I think i have enough action and thrill for nowQualified on 7th, for the first laps a very compressed field without much space. Really short distances. Done a pit in 6th round, falling back to place 13. Get up to place five and had massive pressure in lap 11/12 from behind. Finished 5th. You know this when your heartbeat goes up, the hands get sweaty and your only tough is "no, please, do not a single small mistake"... had this in this race, absolutely awesome. One of the best races with this feelings. It's worth to watch it. I did it multiple times
