I did it, SR 99! Race A has been awesome this week, if any of you guys have raced against me, thanks for making it a great race! :)

The game is officially broken tonight. Had some crazy grids and finishes with people not seen until the finish.

Had what I thought were hollow wins, to find that it was 0.450 of second to somebody I never saw.

Really needs fixing asap.
 
Only ran one race today just about now.
Didn’t score a dub, but got a podium 3rd place finish that I’m especially proud of at Suzuka with gr2 cars.
I just ran my own race. Channeled zen into my character.
Car used was 2016 Nsx. Good car!
 
Daily Race A, 09:40 Room
Car Used: Peugeot RCZ Gr.4

Qualified on Pole Position, and it's a lights-to-flag victory! Not even a jittery black Scirocco can stop me! And said jittery guy is a C/S rated driver, while I was A/S, and the rest were B/S rated.

The races for the next 2 weeks have been scheduled (due to the live event next week)
Week commencing 12th November:
A: N300 (Specially provided) - Tokyo Expressway - Central Outer Loop - 5 laps
B: Gr.4 - Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa + Miyabi - 3 laps
C: Gr.3 - Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya - 11 laps - x5 fuel, x9 tyre wear

Week commencing 19th November:
A: N300 (Specially provided) - Tsukuba - 7 laps
B: Gr.3 - Dragon Trail - Seaside II - 5 laps
C: Gr.X (1 make) - Circuit de la Sarthe - 6 laps - x1 fuel, x10 tyre wear (possibly linked to what they'll be racing at the Nations final at the live event)

Hi, I guess essentially you are going in the opposite direction in Miyabi, but the game has it down how I wrote it above.

The link below is where you can check what races there are in the upcoming weeks, it doesn't give information on time of day though

What a week, some 6 x RACE C and with good results. Unlike my SR crash last week(s) with disconnects, crowded hot races and real world stepping in to many times, this week was perfect. It helps that the race isn't decided in the first corner, and that corner isn't meant to be used for overtaking. My best Q lap was a 1.51.5XX

I placed 8,2,3,2,5,3 except for one race (kept the Q pos) i gained positions, it was pretty awesome, and i am back into DR B, i don't expect to stay there if the next round of RACE C isn't as fun :-)

The GR2 cars are fun to drive and even more fun to race, they are very close in performance and the differences are nuanced..

I think i am gonna do a highlight reel for once..

I swear the games messes with you on qualy laps vs race laps.

I did around 20 warm up laps finding a safe brake point but in the race it does it's best to put you in trouble. I went in too hot T1 on Fuji this morning, I did my best to not interfere with others but I swear the game is trying to make my experience more challenging or something.

Anyways apologies to anyone I may have bumped. I was trying my best to stop. Which I did. And started from the back. Which is what I do. Almost every race. I'm like a reverse pace car. :boggled:

First lap is on cold tires, sadly there is no way to see the tire temps, the next few laps are closer to qualifying setup. At least from my experience. I use it to my advantage and race careful on the first lap and often i gain positions from players risking to much on cold tires.
 
Race C has been good, but the bug for 17th place has struck twice in 10 races, plus someone always gets stuck on the grid (their car zipping around like lag possessed), and even at busy times of day often finding myself racing against people who are much faster (probably not many D drivers in Race C), and finding as I climb 6 or 7 positions from further back people I have overtaken gradually drop out. And yet it's still been fun. There has been clean racing in every race aside from one incident which for 100 laps of Suzuka is really a credit to the game and drivers. I have also hardly seen a penalty all week.

Last harrah for me for Race B this week. Let the black bird loose, but just couldn't quite manage to beat my qualifying time set by the bug. I started P4/16 on a grid of 10 x DR/Cs and the rest us Ds. There was one glitchy car, but they were behind me 👍.

The race started ok, till we got to T5 where a Beetle just barged on through and pushed me out of the way :nervous:. He continued to try something similar with the two in front. I caught up to him and he messed up T1, I passed, which he didn't like, so he kept ramming into the side of me along Reta Oposta, eventually knocking me off the track at T4 :banghead:. I got a time penalty for track limit violation, dropped 3 places and had to fight the degraded handling that happens when you go off track. Handling came back after 1/2 lap, but not before I ran wide at Ferradura and lost another place :rolleyes:. Between making the odd pass and people coming off track, I managed to claw my way up to P6 across the line. The Beetle that knocked me off finished P9.

I finished with a blue SR (the pratt in the bug had red). DR up about 500 👍. Not quite the race I'd hoped for, but better than a kick in the teeth :p. Another day above DR 1 :dopey:.

The Merc W08 has been junk ever since PD 'fixed" it a couple months ago. It was much better in it's original version than it is now. I can only assume an F1 car is not supposed to be easy to drive.

The last time I drove the F1 it was much easier to drive and less prone to spinning out than it was when it first came out. In the GT league races I went from struggling to finish against the AI above P6 to winning all the races.

Restart the game, it seems to help. Or at least it did last last week. :)

Well SR 99 didn’t last very long, one race haha. I did end the evening 400 pts away from DR-A though, S-S here I come!! :D

Started up GTS for the first time in months. Doing some hotlapping on Suzuka, polishing of the rust, im at 1:48.7 right now. Might join some races tonight after the Brazilian F1 Grand Prix.
 
Hey guys, I logged in for the first time yesterday in about 5 months and I noticed the same races yesterday are the sames one today for the dailies...Did I miss something in the time that I haven't raced in the game? How long do we have the same daily races now?
I tried to keep track of some of the updates but I think I might have miss that one.
 
Ah...Back behind the wheel again. Today was time to give Interlagos a try. My qual time was good enough for 11 in an all bs room. Ok. I’m thinking just keep it on track and hope for attrition. My limited practice this week was learning this track and deciding on a super secret car.
Off the bat 10th is glitched. Ok there’s one spot. I’m good with that. Let’s go!
Through turn 1 clean, BMW 3 car lengths back. Positions 5-9 are battling just ahead. Have to be patient. Nowhere to go into the battle...Sweet 8th is off! Time to setup for the climb onto the front straight...8th place bobbles and I am hooked up with momentum...YES. Overtake complete before turn 1! Another car bobbles through the eases and I am all over a Brazilian holding down sixth....OK breathe and just maintain...keep it together...Hit your marks...4th place gets loose up ahead before the climb so fifth and sixth are side by side...Getting ready for that slow left have to slow extra...
Suddenly I am pushed into a small slide! Dang! A Mitsubishi stuck his nose in and I have to correct...OK ITS ON.
I’m all over him in short order since his aggressive move didn’t allow a good exit. I try to go around his outside but can’t complete the overtake. He’s inside turn 1 so I slow up a bit and wait for him to overshoot...
He’s good though and makes it through cleanly pulling a bit of a gap..How’d he manage that? Nice driving...
So I am sitting 8th with 567 right there ahead of me. I really really want to make that evo pay at this point by overtaking him...
I’m about 2car lengths back looking to set him up on the straight...Here we go, this time I go inside on the straight...He’s not backing out, so I hold inside and give him the corner...
Through the Essex...chaos ahead..A Brazilian is off!Im on the Mitsus tail...WTF...A car sweeps by my outside but can’t hold the line and I crossover exiting turn 4...Crazy race but my mission is to overtake the Mitsubishi...
Last lap..I’m on him...Have a look a couple times, but nothing doing...A Brazilians all over me....
Final turn up the hill I am on his bumper and he bobbles....
Up his inside by third gear and I am through! Clean overtake....
Whew...That race took it out of me...Good driving by all...I take sixth...

2 tries at Fuji this morning. I saw someone with a similar name, twice a position in front of me. That was cool.

And that's about the only positive I can think of. Racing.... I guess someone has to finish last. I should probably put this decal on my cars to make easier for others. :lol:

They change once a week now, on Sunday nights.
 
I only did one Race C once yesterday because my left arm was rather sore. Even then I put in a personal best qualifying time of a 1:50.175, which put me third on the grid. I got off to a good start but slipped back to 6th at one point due to a penalty. However I reach third again after my pit stop and stayed there. Which was my objective, as I had no chance of winning.
