Does anyone know where the game adds/removes weight to/from a car for BoP? Does the added/removed weight change the CoG of the cars or the Balance? Is it best to use a car that’s weight matches the race/track and doesn’t have its weight changed for best results?

Got pipped by @Mikey_Smokey after getting a tow from me

That's the line you take to get a good exit

Thats a slow entry to get a slow exit from the s curves.

If your watching the same video you can see that its a late dive to the inside under braking which means he’s braking across the car which is a suspect move.

Its perfectly possible for voodooraj to provide a chase cam replay which would show his cars true course.

That is not trail braking to the apex, he is taking more than the racing line to the corner.

What a nut, did he think you weren't going to take the apex just because he was behind you and increasing speed from drafting? Online, most drivers don't seem to understand the difference between weave blocking and normal legal blocking.

And to back that up, lifted from the GTP online racing guidlines:

"C:
The ahead driver must not do any malicious or inappropriate braking or slowing. Leading cars MUST NOT EVER 'brake check' the car(s) behind them because they are following too closely. The ahead driver IS entitled to be slower or use longer and earlier braking zones than others. They are also entitled to turn in earlier or later and/or apex earlier or later."

There’s no point in quoting rules until proper views with inputs are provided.

My take on it is voodoo has braked earlier than normal (his apex speed is close to walking pace), he has then cut across under braking not aiming for the apex, but aiming to block any run at the inside to avoid being punted like he’s seen the lexus do to 3rd place on turn 4 in his rear view the same lap (I believe), the part that drags this into the grey area of inappropriate brakinv is the lexus had to avoid him.

Anyhow a better replay would confirm or deny.

Can anyone tell me, if you report someone, does it do anything? I’m so tired of people punting me. Daily race B, I was punted 3 times in the same lap.

Also, is there a better way to raise your driver rating then running the daily races? They have gotten so out of hand, I don’t care if I ever run one again.

I'm not sure about the reports but the only other way to increase driver rating is in the FIA races

I got my 10th Win tonight(and 11th), and finaly figured out how to upload it to YouTube. Though it didn’t save the hole race, just the last lap and a half. Either way, it was a fun race, I started 4th and hung back for the first bit as the front three duked it out, then I made my move on lap 2 when they all got pulled up with each other and didn’t look back. :)

Edit: WooHoo! 3 Dubs in a row and 2 Clean Races in a row. It’s a good night tonight. :)

Bet that had you holding your breath! What happend to @LotusEvoraGTE ? Disconnect or rage quit?
Oh snap! Didn't even notice. Lotus(tried not to rhyme it), Can't recall. Don't know if that car had the shakes.

Moved out of the tow way early, as i was pulling nice in 4th. Thought I got there, but computer said, "Nope.".

It seems the japanese have the shakes...i haven't seen any other country with them so far...wonder what it is.?

What a string of bad races. The omen was me tapping the rear of a Viper at T1. I moved to the side and let it rejoin the track. Also letting the whole field but the last three cars, go by. Then, a Huracan wants to use me as its corner buffer, by leaning on me at every turn. Next 5 races are all duds with people smashing me all race. Last race, I get Pole. Made sure to leave the inside open for the local dive-bombers. Still got bumped and the freight train of cars go through. Gathered myself and stayed with the lead 5. Another Mustang and Megane, have a shoving match, with the Mustang revenge serving the Megane. They both take a tour to inspect the armco barriers. Somehow, I got a 2 second penalty from all the shoving done to me.

I forgot, "the freaks come out at night"!

Herbie goes to Autodromo de Interlagos! (I'm still waiting for a Gr1 daily at Colarado Springs 👍) My previous qualifying time both with the car I set it with as well as *almost* matching it with other cars was just a single lap out of many that were 1-3s slower. With the bug I was able to match or better my previous time *consistently*. The upshot of this was I almost got the second faster I was after. My previous time would have got me P11.. this time got me .....P3 !!!!! First thoughts.... elation. Second thoughts..... I'm either gonna get punted down to last place at T1 or spin out on the outside kerb at Bico de Pato :odd:.

Race starts, and it's off and running with no cars stopped in the middle of the track to get stuck behind. The guy behind me takes the inside of T1 but has to slow right down to be able to make T2, thus forcing me to hold station when I'm all ready to fang it :yuck:. We get to the end of the lap and there's no one still on the track, so no glitched drivers this race 👍. Second lap and P2 outbrakes himself at T1 and spins out. There's a a GTR nipping at my heels for the rest of the race.

As the race unfolds a few times I get within inches of the Jag in front, but I was never in a position to pass. Then he'd pull away and I'd catch up with varying degrees of success. Meanwhile the GTR is having a similar experience with me. He was consistently taking Juncao better than me, so I'd see the gap gradually closing on the climb up to the start/finish line. I managed to keep calm.... kinda sorta, and finish P3 with a clean race bonus :D.

SR blue, and I got back all the DR I was haemorrhaging over the last 4 days. Another day above DR 1 :D.

Any one who also has difficulties to go faster like you're used to as before @suzuka?
My best in Gr.2 over there is a 1.50.2.
Now i'm stuck in the 1.51.2's. That was in july. Is it really that tire model change or am i missing a trick here. I love racing Suzuka!

Next week's Race C promises to be brutal. I just did the Gr2 race a few times in GT League. The kerbs are very unforgiving. I spun out a few times, and rolled the car on one of those sausages. Looking at all the green bits next to the kerbs my guess is that track limits will be tight.

I swear the games messes with you on qualy laps vs race laps.

I did around 20 warm up laps finding a safe brake point but in the race it does it's best to put you in trouble. I went in too hot T1 on Fuji this morning, I did my best to not interfere with others but I swear the game is trying to make my experience more challenging or something.

Anyways apologies to anyone I may have bumped. I was trying my best to stop. Which I did. And started from the back. Which is what I do. Almost every race. I'm like a reverse pace car. :boggled:

This is something I've noticed for quite some time, even before the tyre model change. Also noticed that some cars are effected less than others. In races with tyre wear you expect things to degrade, but it happens with Race A and B too.

Don’t forget that if trailing another car before a turn, you’ll firstly be going faster due to slipstream, you’ll need to brake a few metres earlier for that. Also your brakes won’t work as well under slipstream because less air resistance is hitting your car.

If you’re unable to adjust a braking point for whatever reason, maybe another car is immediately behind you as well and you don’t want a bump, try a different line through the turn, perhaps there’s an alternative line that allows you get a better exit and set up an overtake.
