If i was Emerson Fittipaldi , i would process PD and the employee responsible for the tune of my car in the game. (EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina )
This guy who did this horrible job has killed the car totally. My grand mother if she was alive would have done a better tune. It´s a real shame for PD , spending so much time working on the visual side to let a clown make a such horrible work on the physics of this wonderfull car that deserve so much more . :banghead::banghead::grumpy::grumpy:

A/S level race - Gr4 @ Dragon goes one of either 2 ways:

1) Carnage
2) Avoid carnage and make up places

Even if you do your best to avoid option 1, it'll easily find you, most likely coming out of chicane when track is blocked by crashed cars that haven't ghosted. If you ease off or brake to avoid, you get hit from behind, making the carnage even bigger than what it was originally.

Many thanks to French dude who tried to make a new breed of car by merging his M4 with the back of my Viper, multiple times in last race 👍

I'm away from my console and am curious, are any of today's One-Make races allowing us to use cars from our Garages?

I prefer driving in cars with custom liveries :)

Am I the only one with more wins than poles and FLs? :lol

Sport Mode Wins 19
Sport Mode Pole Position 16
Sport Mode Fastest Laps 18

Sport Mode Completed Races
260 (274*)

Sport Mode Wins
100

Sport Mode Pole Position
88

Sport Mode Fastest Laps
76

A good haul of victories, nonetheless. Strange that you only got 600 DR points though.
I was on my second account for those races. I didn’t check my DR points. Maybe it was the 1 FIA race I did on the main account.

Edit: I checked. The account I was using last night gained around 1500 DR points.

Presumably the Atenza is just too slow for there to be any carnage?

You'd think so but the truth and reality is so much different. Carnage on the 2nd lap in my B/C group in both races up to now.

Conclusion after 3 Races with fresh Account:

Race 1: Pole - Win with 32 secs diff. Clean Race stand on > E/B
Race 2: 5th - 2nd Clean Race > up to E/A
Race 3: 8th - 7th, Mixed up into Lobby with B/B and B/A drivers, blue SR, not clean. Got kicked out in the S, got a side bump on straight before corner, ended up 16th. Came back to 7th. No DR gain until 5 races finished...

I'm actually gonna disagree a bit. I feel like the 911 is pretty difficult to drive on the limit. It's difficult for me at least to keep the rear tidy when I'm really pushing because of all that weight back there. But mastering that is very rewarding because it turns in so well and allows you to really rotate the car.

It's the easiest to drive of all the MID engined cars. No more weight to the rear than any other MR.

I had some great races today, really fun in A/S. Went from 15th to 7th, 15th to 14th and 14th to 4th in my three Race Cs. The main thing I realise whenever I play is that clean racing is 99% (well that may be a bit of an overstatement) down to YOU. If you put yourself in the right place when racing and don't let emotions control you then you will have a good time and will be able to focus on proper racing. It just frustrates me when I see people on here complain about clean racing etc., when they are almost certainly exacerbating the problem in some way, like putting their car into the wrong place in corners or retaliating against other peoples' aggression. Just keep calm and worry about yourself and yourself only.

Race B in the Fittipaldi, I broke out my Prototype.

I can't get my stuff together with the Fittipaldi today, maybe it's the constant scraping on the road. Stancekid's paradise

Scored a win in the Gr.4 race tho, had quite the battles coming from behind, most of the guys I overtook raced really clean, one was a little over-Verstappen-ish but I managed to outrun him after two laps of batteling :sly: I should share the replay, imho it's well worth a watch.
@bmxmitch was also in that race, but I never saw him :gtpflag:

Well you are welcome to your view , but I don't agree with you ,

There are some ram artist and unsportsmanlike behaviourist at most stages of DR and SR that don't understand clean racing . I might not be the anywhere near the fastest but as far as I remember ramming out the way or clear pushing isn't considered clean racing .

This is supposed to be a driving simulator , in 6 years of driving on real tracks I only remember hitting 1 other driver , he was from Norwich so that shouldn't even count

I know it's a game waiting for races with full damage on

Who thinks the 911 needs a nerf?

I know that in theory every track has a car that suit it a bit better but everyone drives this car in every track, its not cool to see the 911 dominating like this.

NO!
The car doesn't need a nerf. It's the locked settings that need to be opened again. Some cars need some tweaks, but you can't do anything to setup your favorite car in sport mode...:indiff:

Also, people would choose whatever car is in the Top10. If they see 10 Gr.3 Lambos, they would all choose this one, for sure

I screwed up in the damn chicane 2 times. I just fear that second full speed corner too much :scared::lol:
Managed to gain 6 positions and ended 6th, but you were just too far ahead. Nice Race fellow german

And I saved the replay too (already watched it). Some intense racing everywhere! Especially the Top3 👍
I hope to meet you in a race again. Next time I'll do a quicker Quali lap, so we start next to each other ;)

Btw, the Aston really is fast! I nearly did beat your time, then time ran out and I had to leave :p

Looking forward to that :)
My racing sometimes also is not the cleanest especially when around people who annoy me but I try to leave room and pull back if there is no room for me :D the occassional super late braking can‘t be avoided tho

I did a couple Fittipaldi races at lunch time, fun to drive that track car combo again. I didn't bother to qualify, no time. Starting in the back is fine though, making up plenty places from people crashing all over the place. Matchmaking is to blame too, lunch time, so DR.S to DR.D rooms are the norm at SR.S. Ofcourse my DR still went down slightly since finishing 5th from 15th in a room with mostly lower DR players does nothing.

I'm back in DR.B after a couple weeks of DR.A. I'm not putting the energy into qualifying anymore, still race the same, yet in the end start position determines DR. And the rooms are the same anyway. I'll be doing some more Fittipaldi races later, perhaps run a qualifying lap in between to not start behind people that can't even take the first corner.

Has anyone ever had a standing start because of lag / game bugged out? Just happened to me at D. Trail. We actually had to pull away standing still behind the last corner. Wtf?

Sure people from Norwich have feelings too

I have 8 wins in 112 races.

Can't seem to get a handle on the Fittipaldi today, seems a lot more savage than when I last raced it on this track. Anyone got any tips on brake balance set up?

I only did that race once and I got bumped into the sand just before turn 2. I was in 2nd place and dropped down to 5th. Thankfully, I recovered well enough to get back on the road. On turn 4, I took the inside while the person that bumped me earlier was on the outside. I think they tried ramming me from the side, but I was able to keep going straight. I guess they bounced off of my car hard enough that they ended up deep in the sand. Guy had the audacity to call me trash in the post-race chat. I told him he deserved to go into the sand after all the nonsense he was trying.

There's definitely carnage, but with those types of cars, it's a little easier to slow down and recover. Wish I would've gotten a few more reps of that race in. I started 9th and finished 3rd.

I know that. There all tractor boys round that area

Kudos to the guys in Daily Race C today, 5 races, 5 clean hard fought races. Even managed 3 podiums and p4,p5 with my new brake spring

So far B:S seems to be massively more predictable and clean than C:A/S

:gtpflag:

Did anyone race the FIA Gr.4 event on Interlagos?
I had such a nice race 5mins ago. M4s everywhere, but I took the GT86 for a spin and quickly noticed, its slow as hell! Got last in Quali, but managed my tires and fuel and got to place 8 in the end. Got 1300 Points for that :D
