Did about 35~40 Q-laps for race A, got my Q-time from 1'56"4xx to 1'55"7xx
Jumped right in and it seems I have gotten better...

There was contact on the 1st and last lap of this one. My fault??

On this one I just couldn't catch up to 1st ...

Hey everyone!

I decided to choose the Lamborghini for Suzuka, believing in its handling ( not using the handbrake). And it has resulted some exciting fights.
In the first race the RCZ and the TT gave me a hard time, in the second run I could handle the TT a bit better.
Enjoy!

Some good racing.

I've been in a few races with you this week, but at the opposite end of the grid - my Huracan seems to be 3 seconds a lap slower than yours.....

just slap an "Akina Speedstars" sticker on the side... she'll be right šŸ‘.

I absolutely would but PD in their wisdom don't allow garage cars :banghead:. Kind of annoying because I always have to adjust TC and BB before each race. Maybe this is PD's answer to not having snow/ice weather effects on tracks. Make the car handle like it's on it instead.

Suzuka has been a mixed bag. Aggression has led to stupid mistakes.

Also number of times got bumped off from the win is quite high

Currently having no daily racing, but here's a lobby featuring 500 PS Gr.3 cars:

EDIT: I've left the lobby after competing in two races, both finished in 2nd.

Against my judgment I did an A race to get my daily miles, 5 qualy laps and the race does it. Found out TCS 0 qualy helps handle the tcs2 in race. Not sure what I might have done to deserve it but a guy blatantly bumped me on the main straight to start lap 2, straight side to side, I was pulling away but saw the bump coming, he ghosted through me onto the grass and into the wall, dropping him to last. I laughed and hung on for 4th. Good race other than that guy.

I bet you do. Had one myself a couple of years ago and it was awesome. I have a Corrado just now!
Great cars! I would go out and buy one right now but my wife won't let me:lol: All the money has to go into upgrades for the house, then into my new mk2 'project and after all I am maybe allowed to buy a Corrado. By that time there won't be an affordable one left.

Always nice when that happens. Some time ago doing one of the oval type tracks I had someone try to use me as bump stop between him and the wall. He came careening in like a bat outta hell, ghosted through me and then unghosted just before he became a smear on the wall...and get a 10s penalty . It was very satisfying.

At race A, when someone is really close behind you, or next to you, let them have the outside line and approach turn 1 all the way at the bottom, and hug the inside curb all the way around. Most people seem to not be able to handle staying wide all the way through that turn. It usually messes them up pretty good, and often you'll end up with a bigger lead than you had before the turn.

Thought I'd give it a try at the Autopolis, then this happens:lol::lol::confused:

As you can imagine, the start was a mess, everyone got caught by the joke hahaha

Also, touching the kerb in 2nd last turn gives 3s penalty..

Just happened at Suzuka too! I started the race in reverse, the car turned around just before the chicane, and I had already gone from 13th to 5th as everybody else tried to sort themselves out

I had a race at Fuji, this morning where I started on pole, and me and P2 were the only ones who started normally. The rest of the field just didn't get going, and were half the straightaway behind when I got to turn 1.

Suzuka Gr4.

Yesterday I got a 2:09.8 in the Lambo. Today 2:10.1, but have an optimal of 2:09.1!
Just can’t string the sectors together.

I’ve got a 2:10.1 in the MĆ©gane too, which is obviously a less risky race car.

Lots of people in the Audi, but I find it has more understeer than the MƩgane.

I'm guessing it's a new feature, like how they used to race before by running to the cars/bikes in total chaos:D

2:09.1 in the Evo with an optimal time of 2:08.6, honestly the TT is cancer, I can’t even count how many times I’ve been punted by an impatient Audi driver after one of the straights, I lost 4K DR to only regain 5 k DR in the same week.

, honestly the TT is cancer,

Yeah very emotional drivers all drive TTs at Suzuka apparently, they also dislike strange cars so they punt them at turn 1.

Best for me this far is 2:11:18 in that damn audi. I was messing around with the viper before I signed off earlier, good feel. Wife and kids are out tonight. *evil grin

Just had a great Suzuka race. Started 6th. Done a 360 turn 1. Managed to regain and got a win. Best lap nearly 2 secs quicker then quali?? few minor bumps etc was acceptable. Vid below if anyone got any advice (all mainly dr d drivers).
Next race was mainly dr c. And was a punt fest. I would expect the sportsman to be no worse then in d race, but so much worse.

1st pole & 1st fastest lap and win to go with it.
The matchmaking gods must have been on my side...
It felt that I wasn't faster than the field, but rather everyone else was slower. I'll take it.
Also, Q-time down to 1'54"8xx

A few races yesterday which consisted mostly of starting on 5th to 7th position and then being pushed out of the way by the usual Huracan and finishing in the back of the field. I then switched from the F-Type to the Cayman since it feels quicker in the Esses: you can smoothly coast through the turns in 3rd gear and close in to nearly every car in front of you. My Q-time is 2:12 something. I just canā€˜t go any faster.

Today was much better though the System put me into a Pack of drivers which were rather jerking than steering. It was not the network related stuff but it was distracting. I later watched the Replay and saw, that they must have used the D-Pad and had all driving assists turned to max. Everything was blinking and flashing when they went through the Esses:eek:

Anyway the races today had me start in 12 and 11 and I finished 8th and 9th. And since the sun is shining and weā€˜re about to get friendly weather after weeks of snow, storm and rain Iā€˜ll spend my day outside and thus finish my week of racing ;)

I'm doing a full resto on mine just now. I'm so skint these days that all I can do is stay in and play GT. I actually race in the drivers seat of the Corrado while I don't need it in the car lol!!
