I got a 45.475 :p

Hope your problem is resolved mate.

Excellent mark, Roben! As expected from you!

Thanks.. it is (I think... Women are unpredictable.. you know??) :banghead:

Hope to be back today

I´m loving the AMg... and I think that the Renault must be an excellent ride! :)

Don´t know if I should 1str try the Mustang Road Car on Willow Springs..

Have you got any feeling about that car, and track??

Can't help you on Willow Springs, but the Mustang Gr. 3 road car suffers from snap oversteer on exit. Careful application on the throttle and you're golden :)
The steering's more precise too, as to be expected from a Gr. 3 road car

M4 is just totally overpowered!
I love BMW but I didn't race in M4 just bcs of that - "everyone" drives it and it always tops leaderboards!

This is a point on today's Race C :( I use AT so I stand no chance against the M4s

I guess I‘ll give race C a shot today, maybe I can find another car beside the M4 I‘m competitive in :dopey:

Ha! How flattering... however, I can only ever get good times, like within top 2%, on Race A :odd: (and BB Raceway weirdly) according the JasonGuernsey site. For most group 3 and group 4 I am 10-15%...

Yes, indeed...! Hope you get sorted anyhow.

The AMG is good, but I worry on Dragon Trail due to the long braking distance and massive understeer....

Tried the Mustang last night but I don't like Willow :yuck:

Am also looking forward to trying the Renault :)

Not with the fuel saving trick :nervous:

Got a win in race b (pole, FL, CB)
As pole start at the apex of the last corner. Nearly spin out when I took control from AI:boggled:

Unlikely now loads know about the stupidly short shifting that's possible with this car. I noticed it months ago watching an odd replay of some seriously quick drivers who didn't pit, one even did it with his qualifying lap.
I just couldn't bring myself to do it like that, I was only shifting a tiny bit early myself so I still had to pit. The car is also faster than the other cars at most tracks too, just to highlight it's OP'ness.

Yeah... may have to give Race C a miss, unfortunately.

yeah .. the 0 stop guys are just 0 stopping. short shifting wont help you save tyres
Thanks

After two hours of qualifying, the best I managed is 1:40.739 :banghead: the faulty gas pedal on my G29 isn't helping either with its jittering to 50% at full throttle. That's easily over 2/10ths of a second right there :banghead:

:(

My previous best in group 4 on Yama is 1.41.720 :nervous:

GR4 1:41.720 3,131 / 28,837 - 10.8576% 2,169 / 20,364 - 10.6511% 355 / 3,131 - 11.3382% 3/6/2018 12:47:13 PM

Is there a way on Jason’s site to see previous days times? Not to gloat but I think I got 45:460 ha
Yes and all other previous qualifying times you've made :)

Go to Home > My Records then scroll down to the track and you will see them there...

@VeeDoubleU beat me to it...

I think by best in the Viper is 1:40.324, which is about 1.7 off the track record. Today's world best is 1:38.875, so your within the 2 second mark !!

GR4 1:40.324 350 / 29,119 - 1.2020% 204 / 20,558 - 0.9923% 24 / 3,162 - 0.7590% 3/6/2018 1:42:55 PM

Wow, top 2.6% in World...

I just need to find a second off my last time then :scared:
Wow Alpha Cipher is 1.2%👍

I find that my limit is always 1.5-2.0s off world record no matter which circuit.

Great time 👍 @Arcflyer what car did you use?

I wish I could always get that close

@Alpha Cipher which car you are using? I manage 1:40:755 only on TT.

M4. We all know that it's the fastest Gr. 4 : )

In all honesty, I want to be proud of my time especially that I'm within a second of my regional 10th Top 10 (even with my pedal issue), but it's just not gonna cut it in S :( once qualified 5/10ths of a second within Top 10 back then, only to be greeted midfield at 6th (Top 2 are within the Top 10)

M4 is the answer : )

**I'm still pretty n00by when it comes to the FIA & longer GT Sport races**

Is the current optimal/default/meta strat to aim for 1-stop, but with good fuel saving to shorten the stop?
With harsher penalties there was perhaps an opportunity for the 0-stop to become more viable, but, it still seemed faster to pit for fresh tyres -
what are you lot finding?

Really? Haha wow! I guess I'll cut myself a bit of slack then and be proud of my time :)
I've overused it by now but nguieh

I will try it... but I'm not a fan tbh. Especially as everyone else uses it... Also, remember I am on AT so lose the benefits of changing up early...
The M4's already economical either way, and in terms of raw pace I reckon the only ones that can go up against it is the TT Cup (horribly tire wear), Viper (horrible fuel economy), and the GT by Citroen (haven't tried it yet. Maybe this has a legitimate chance ;) )

@nord_clane said earlier he was coming off better doing 1 stop against everyone else going 0 stop.

I always try the M4 when doing my Q times but every time on every track I can beat it with the Citroen (which is already "my" car for group 4)...

I can't drive FF cars any more! I used to use the TT (and Megaine shhhhhh) before but not after driving the Lexus for Gr. 3 and the GT for Gr. 4 I just get so annoyed waiting to accelerate to avoid understeer.
