A 1.38.1xx bagged me a 3rd in all DR:A grid and 9th in mostly DR:S grid.

My race pace was solid and got x1 win and nearly a top 5 in the DR:S lobby but needed a splash and dash at the end ;( Finished 14th.

Good racing though!
Wow

I have a long way to go

Have you ever raced me? I’m intrigued and want to find your psn now ha

No, I would say hi if so :)

I've disliked most of the races involving the Civic so far this week, but today's race at Tokyo Expressway will redeem it.

I've grown to like it. The flat out line through the esses on Yamigawa yesterday was hilarious. I had to hook the front tire over the kurb and mow the lawn to hold that thing together scrubbing speed with the grass and rotation rather than using the brakes. It definitely got me used to the rhythm of that car and how it throws weight around. Huge steering gains are made when you feed throttle into the end of the trail brake to kill the understeer. After several laps the car became more predictable yet still holistic.

Truth be told I'm expecting you at every race I go to in Europe now that I'm in A/S
Hopefully will meet you once
I only pick one race each day to play and I won't be entering until 20.00 at the earliest after minimum 1 hour qualifying... so I guess this is pretty late for you?

But, I'm sure... one day I will see you - probably just on the grid though, or when you lap me

@Alpha Cipher Didn’t see you in Asia in the last two days?
The daily races aren't fully cut out for me recently :( I'm using the Europe account to learn new stuff, and when I do, I carry over to the Asia region
Won't see me again anywhere for the next 3 days though... Quite a busy schedule ahead :(

4AM here  On the weekends probably I'll see you :)
Not sure about the lap part, I think you're still improving ;)
I should make a European account so you can both kick my 🤬 lol:bowdown::lol:
 To be fair though, I think you're quite fast with your trusty Viper :D
I'm planning on making a US account though when I get to S/S on Europe (well, if ever)

Sadly no. I don't remember the name and I don't know how to save a Sport mode race so I can keep an eye out in future. He was another DR/D and the penalty's particularly for contact seem to be much softer at our level. I don't know if PD did this to encourage beginners who aren't driving dirty, but simply making a lot of mistakes. I think the system should be linked to SR. These were all SR/S, and I feel contact should be penalised more harshly at higher SR. That includes my own accidental contacts.

According to Robben (this is his info) : To report a player, it has to be done once the race is finished, and you just click on the name of the offender after the race (in the post-race chat screen) and then click 'report' :)

Edit: no need to share the replays really, just report to PD.

... Seems that no reporting is allowed after you finish that racing session...

Yeah... really close... only 1.3 seconds

What percentage in the world is yours? Just for context?

just for information:

Actual top Europe 25 on that race:

There are races and there are The Races, those that feel like a victory even when there's no win!!
I got behind one of the best drivers in Americas server, I kept trying to get behind him as long as possible, learning his line and his move!
Was a hell of a lesson, I love this type of races...
I was so focused on his race and lines I almost crashed when he stepped on poo and hit the wall.
I wasn't expecting to pass him anytime, I actually thought this was going to be one of those races the fast drivers take ten or more seconds difference from me... well, the first one did it, 23 seconds ahead without pit-stop (that's amazing!)

Lucky bastard

And yeah, being on SR/S is a different... also, 99 S is even better... anything below 99 groups you with lower DR ranked but SR/S drivers.

Yea, I'm finally 99 S again. It took a beating after the rules changed!

Have you ever raced me? I’m intrigued and want to find your psn now ha

LOL - Lets make that the mission of this forum !

After the drop from SR91 to SR19 after a disconnection I was grinding this morning some SR back. After my SR improves the racing gets cleaner. The first two races I managed to get a clean bonus, a wonder if you see how others behave..

That 2nd race sounded like a performance of STOMP.

I was 17th (in EU region) with that time  Even that lap felt rubbish to me, like I forgot how to drive or felt like I had less grip than I should have for some reason. Don't really feel like I'm happy with any car in Gr4, eventually I used the Citroen GT for that time but I actually only had one uneventful race and gave up and I just wasn't feeling it. :indiff:

Seems a strange thing to say when I'm actually going faster than most people can even dream of I know, don't think I'll ever be fully happy as I'll never be a very top guy. :dopey:

Are you actually meaning it serious when you say you were not proud being in 17th place?!
I mean seriously this is top dogg. Even being amongst the top 100 is a huge thing in my opinion. Honestly, you are already a like you call it top Guy. Hello. 17th. A top time. Man tap yourself on the back and be proud. Think positive and stop being unsatisfied. You‘re the Man

Indeed lol. The stupid thing is that with every race I'm getting worse. All because I was more watching in the mirror then at the road. You feel something is coming and it gets under your skin.

Hum.....

Any of you guys know something about the way the Nations Cup (GR 4 On Blue Moon Infield B) is going?? Like if there´s some "carnage" or not????????????!!! :)

You even put some pressure! Amazing job :)

Was ok for my race, but I did get a 4 second penalty for hitting SLOVAN22, for which I apologise for the brutality

Live: Daily Race C @ Bathurst

Nice Race! I took some tips from this for sure

quick question: What were you using as your shifting cues? Were you just listening to the engine, or were you watching your speed? No tach in you HUD and shifting before the rev bar lit up had me wondering

Just about to start my first race tonight at mount panorama - also first post in about 3 years :gtpflag:.

Anyone know the best strategy for the race? My wife wants to watch a film so i may only have one shot at this lol. I've done a 2:01.6 as my qualifying time so hopefully start frontish I think

If you save fuel you can go without pitting. Mount Panorama has a terribly slow pit lane.

I’ve been in daily races with you and TurismoLester. You are both outstanding drivers and I strive to be on your level. Someday....Nice race BTW!

Nope, nice and easy. After you click 'Report' there are two choices:

-Illicit activity. (I guess this would include utilising glitches/rude liveries etc.)
-Interfering with race.

I imagine that the race footage won't be reviewed every time, but a certain amount of 'Reports' will trigger a warning or ban. Annoying as people won't get penalized for occasional bad behaviour, only persistent... in which case they wouldn't be in SR/S anyway (IMO, of course).

The annoying thing, for me, is that you aren't able to check the replay before reporting someone. I have wanted to report several people, but could not be 100% sure who the offender was and, frankly, I would hate to report the wrong person. In the heat of the moment, if you have been rammed off track, you focus on sorting yourself out and getting going again as opposed to checking the name of the offender.

What you do is set the default record time to 30 minutes in the settings (long enough for FIA and daily C). Then right after the race click or hold the share button (depending on share settings), that will save the race to the capture gallery. Then you can review it quickly with ffwd to find out who it was before reporting them. I usually review the incidents while people are still crossing the finish line, plenty of time before the lobby closes.

I don't know if it does anything though. I've reported some people 3 times or more and still get matched with them the next race. I usually block people first on psn in the players met section, then if they are already blocked, the next time it's report. Repeat offenders get reported.

Yet who do you report when a 1 bar connection teleports in front of you and gives you a 5 sec penalty for bumping a car that's not actually there. There should be a report buggy code button as well. Perhaps I should just report all 1 bar connections until PD gets the hint they need to fix the way the game deals with lag. It's very much interfering with the race.

Brands Hatch - 1.31.577 for qualifying time and I thought that should rank me mid field at least but I started sub-13th on the grid in my 3 races. I did gain in every race but still had a net DR loss. All races were clean so the SR is still S.
I guess this is not my track :indiff: :banghead:
