All clean at Interlagos for me so far. I managed to accidentally divebomb someone at turn 3 but no contact (was my first race of the day) and managed to finish dead last but all good from there.

Trying to rebuild my DR from that awful first race.

*Edit, just got hate mail for failing to jump out of the way of somebody drafting down home straight. I'm sorry for holding the inside and your inability to drive round me lol.

Interlagos again, GR.3 this time. It's one of my weakest tracks while my DR is pretty high atm from the track selection of the last couple of days. Means I'm probably looking at back field starts. How is the back field on lagos today in NA...

GR.4 on Brand's is better for me, bit slow, I prefer GR.3 or GR.1 on Brand's, but it's always fun to drive there.

Results from the Nordschleife and Tsukaba, new entries

The Norsschleife slots in behind GR.X on Mount Panorama and most of the Monza variants when it comes to SR losses.
Tsukaba has a strong start with lots of SR gains, especially the daily C variant was one of the highest earners of SR.

I'm wondering what the logic is behind SR boost at lower levels. Gaining 21 points for a clean daily C at SR.A is already too much, 50 points or more at lower levels, no wonder SR is so unstable. Same for the excessive reductions at higher levels. The biggest reduction jasonguernsey logged was 186 points lost in one GR.1 race on Lago Maggiore, and biggest gain 115 points in one GR.4 Bluemoon infield race. If you can go from SR.S to SR.E and back to SR.S the next race, what does SR even mean!

I really wish they would introduce Daily race D and E.
Daily D should be a race about the same length as C, but take away tire and fuel wear - just make it about the racing.
Daily E should be a 45-50 minute race with entries on the hour.

Adding a one hour slot would really add to the variety, and probably wouldn't thin out the pool of players for matchmaking too much. But another 1/2 hour slot might.

I don't see why Race C always has to try and force a pit stop though, or why there's always zero fuel usage and tyre wear in Races A and B - if we just had some variety in those settings we wouldn't need another 1/2 hour slot. Seems to me a good default would be slightly accelerated, just so you notice the difference towards the end of the race.

A one hour slot could have settings that make it a choice between 1 or 2 stops, and they wouldn't need to be as extreme as the current Race C settings since the race could be more than twice the distance.

Did have strange moment with lagger on 1 bar on inter. Notice how he reappears in front of me and how i dodged him at the end.

I'm feeling... twitchy. Did Interlagos. At Robben's suggestion I decided to try the Lexus, but time trial qualification rather than entering the race. I wasn't in my happy place. I did a few laps each with 9 other cars. The Beetle was making all the right noises, but just didn't have the pace..in my hands. It came down to the Viper or the RSR. Went with the RSR and managed to beat my trial qualification by a few fractions.

The grid was made up of DR/Ds with 3 of the mythical DR/Cs. Imagine my astonishment to find myself starting at P3! I was shaky because I'd never started that high up before. The two in front were a little frustrating for a while, they seemed to be so slow for the first half lap and I was constantly trying to avoid contact. Eventually the guy in 2nd made a mistake and I moved up. I made a move and got by and found myself for the first time leading a race!

I traded places a few times with 2nd but on the last corner he went wide and touched the grass and I got through. I was carrying a 2 second penalty, so was expecting to drop to 2nd or 3rd. I was shocked to find I'd just managed my first win <bounce!>:gtpflag:

Congrats on your 1st victory. More will come sure.👍

Massacre on Interlagos as usual, people don't know their braking points for the life of them..

Dropped from 99/99 Sr straight to sr A in one race, guy that punted me out of 3rd place after zigzagging around on straights and ramming me out after I took him ends up 2nd with no punishment time, while I get 10s lol.

Guess I'm staying out of it today.:boggled:

That's why they do it because they are lower rated drivers and/or because the penalty system is now next to useless, they get away with it so carry on, either oblivious or laughing as they get away with their cheating. Meanwhile good decent drivers will probably stop racing because of the dumb penalties meaning a higher % of the field is the careless/reckless drivers, making things even worse.

Sorry if I touched you at the start of brands hatch Mr @phil_75, I think I caught it in time because it didn't seem like I touched you on my end and I didn't get a penalty but you slowed down a couple corners later as if you had a penalty to serve

I'm having a blast at Interlagos today. Lots of close clean battles.

Sometimes the moaners in the chat afterwards are made to look stupid when you watch the replays.

It's comical the amount of chest beating going on post race, when in fact they can't race for **** but blame others for their short commings.

I guess at your level that happens. In all my races no one hangs around long enough to actually post any chat after the race, other than the auto post.

It makes no sense losing bucketload of dr and 30 sr in 1 race only because someone unfairly got his sr to S.

Had a guy literally chasing me around on Brand's and intentionally braking right in front of me to get me to hit him.. He ghosted every time tho, must have been frustrating :lol:

Yeah i got 10 sec penalty and i didn't even realise we touched lol!?
(or am i thinking of another guy)

Its cool though mate.

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA INTERLAGOS:mischievous:

I created my European account a few days ago, but I haven't done any sport mode races yet. I've been waiting for a good daily to pop up. I can't wait to get home from class later

Interlagos will be fun, I am so curious how quickly I will level up lol. Come at me Dr E field lol

I'm home and I've qualified with a 1:32.319.

I wonder if they will put me in a Dr E / Sr B room because it is my "first race", or if they will put me with higher DRs right off the bat because of my time.

So curious how many Dr pts I'll get after this first race, should be fun! Lol

Zero :p

Sorry to spoil your fun, but you won't gain any real points until your 6th race.

Anyone else have problems with sever synchronisation ? Just did a 1.31.6XX on Interlagos and the time wasn't saved - instead I got my old one which was 1.31.9XX....

I found myself qualified in 3rd at the Tokyo Gr.3 last night behind @Sven Jurgens, who got the win. I stayed in 3rd, which was nice although I was miles behind. I entered again later and found myself in 3rd on the grid again. Thanks to the draft I got the lead by turn one and managed to pull away from a hard charging fellow in second place for my second ever Gr. 3 win, at the thunderdome none the less.

most of the way back to dr S after losing 15k dr in one fia race yesterday -______- i used to be slow at brands hatch but now i'm okay. I'm very much a start 5th and finish 5th kind of player though

Yes my laptimes arent getting saved either at Brands :(

I always seem to find myself in a little race on my own on the longer races, not quite fast enough (due to race fear usually) to keep pace with leaders, but fast enough to give myself a nice gap.

I still havent worked out this fuel thing, seem to have time to have a picnic in the pits!

I'm having an issue on my secondary account that I didn't have on my primary account. My "force feedback max torque" setting keeps resetting to the default...
