Ok I'm no expert but there was no reason to hit the brakes at all in that section of the corner.

Well, the OP closed the door on Twissy heading up the hill (there was a clear overlap and Twissy should have been given the apex) which apparently upset Twissy enough that a whole lap later he felt it necessary to brake check the OP while going up the hill.

You crack me up, by the way nobody cares, it’s a game!

FYI, this is like the most childish response people use when somebody else challenges someone who is breaking or bending the rules in any sport.

Sport has rules so competition can be fair, it's pretty childish of you to deliberately retaliate, both you and the TRL driver were being a little over aggressive acting like you were entitled to pass him judging by this comment.

What were you even doing on that strategy anyway, what were you thinking?! You knew you were gonna get swarmed upon by everyone, you just so happend to ruin both mine and TRL race in the process, TRL had to literally side swipe you to get you out of the way with all your numptiness.

You just love to shut the door on people trying to make a decent overtake

You are obviously fast, and you know as well as I do he was on the inside line in turn 2 yet you try and somehow fit into the tiniest of gaps.
Turn 3 you know you were doing an overtake maneuver that you wouldn't have attempted against a driver you respected.

This whole accident screams of you thinking you're entitled to pass him because you were on a 1 stop strategy and RaceFace was on a no stop.
What cracks me up is you could've easily passed him - but none of your overtake attempts were well timed, you both could've easily gone by him on the pit straight if you just lined up a good exit of the last turn instead you didn't respect his car or his space.

I just want to say that everytime I came across @RaceFace85 he treated me with respect and although being a lot faster I never saw him force his way through but rather wait for me to wreck myself off

Also just because you‘re feeling being raced dirty doesn‘t justify being dirty by yourself. Sebastian Vettel knows this too well... cough...Azerbaijan...cough :dunce:

Here is the long version of your brake test disgrace.

I also letted you space when you went unsafe back to the track and I leaved the door open in the long right corner.

Daym thats one helluva brake test. Even i know you can get round that turn by lifting.

Thank you!

I also thought
about the Azerbaijan incident with Vettel and Hamilton.

Zero racecraft and zero respect shown by Twissy there. Everything that is wrong with some of the high rank players. Trying to make room, forcing, divebombing then blaming the slower driver. Raceface was entitled to defend and some of the overtake attempts looked desperate to say the least.

A prime example of fast not meaning someone can "race" well, but it makes comedy gold reading his defence on here.

Not sure I’ll be racing tonight was bad enough last night on a track I thought I was good at let alone these!

I’m still surprised by the difference in etiquette in an all DRS/A room from the front of the grid to the rear. I was in front of @Arcflyer last night, all can I say is his driving was perfect! He was clearly faster than me, but I could tell he was braking earlier so not to make contact, no crazy moves to get past. I could just concentrate on my race because I had no fear of him being behind me! In the end I let him past in the fast s as he was clearly faster. I would race like this all day and would give the same respect to anyone if they raced like this. But in the back it just a barge fest any tiny gap go for it!

Much more fun for me when there’s mutual respect!
 Thanks for the compliment and the pass - That's probably one of my favourite tracks running with the Viper - mutual respect in races makes the whole experience much more fun.

I only had time for three races last night, but all three were clean from where I was positioned :D:D

Think I started in front of you a couple times and never had a problem once, if I could of stayed at the front and not spin out I probably would of had clean ones too!!

I think on Friday I was behind your GR4 green Viper and yesterday had your GR3 one filling my rear view mirror. Definitely got to see it up close when you were in my mirrors!!

Hopefully catch you in a race again give you a proper race if I can manage to actually remember how to drive!!

Did you like the new paint job ?? Done a new one for the gr4 also, although not green this time. Thought it was time I did a few of my own as I seem to use the Vipers more than anything else at the moment :D:D

Daily race B was a pretty cool combo today! Except that every race I did went pretty crappy for me

Well, my first was somewhat decent, got hit a few times in the first few corners, but luckily didn’t get penalized for that. Made a few mistakes which cost me places and didn’t finish as good as I hoped to.

Second race something went wrong and the game got stuck loading the track, should’ve started from third, but that went up in smoke as I had to quit and restart the game...

Third race starting fifth, but crappy start and lost a few places, turn one, two and three were a complete crap fest, got hit a few times causing my car to bounce to the inside and “cut the corner” which I got penalized for... grrrr... Fell to the back side of the field serving the penalty and only gained a few places in the remaining laps.

But overall, racing the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport was very fun! With the no tuning and bop, it made for quite close racing :) shame the race was only 3 laps, I could’ve race for much longer, very enjoyable.

If the race was longer I'd have actually raced it, rather than just lay down a load of laps and get frustrated, as even though my time isn't half bad I could have actually gone faster but kept on messing up at least one corner a lap.

Willow Springs is actually fun now that I have a wheel...I'm pleasantly shocked! The feel of a wheel really brings the best out of a track like this.
Oh yeah, I had the same feeling on Willow, some fine turning just isn't as easy on ds4..

So nobody else having issues at Willow???
I love Big Willow! 3 races so far today, starting lower end of the grid. 1st race finished 11th, thanks to my mistakes, 2nd race placed 5th and 3rd race placed 4th. I will get back at it later tonight. Still not real comfortable with the pit stops, but getting better. Fairly clean racing as well.

The two Big Willow races I did so far were great. First I just jumped in after driving around the track once, qualified for 18th, ran myself off the road once, still made it to 8th. Second race I qualified for 8th, made it 3rd. There weren't many fast people on yet, my door number was one, but I still made 559 DR for that 3rd place. Gaining 10 positions to 8th cost 111 DR.

More races later! It's a fun track, bit slow in GR.4 though, especially me in a GR.4 car. My best lap was a lot slower than the people finishing behind me, yet I rather stay on the road than play Dirt Rally every other lap :)

Yes, I was driving aggressive but not unfair I think. The brake check was not in a relation to my behavor before that.
I don't even think it was aggressive... It was normal defending. When he had sufficient overlap on corner entry for the very first time, you gave him the necessary space. As a Thank You, you get a move that cannot even be called retaliation as there was nothing to retaliate for.
Looking at the entire video explains your anger quite well.

Just had the weirdest race at Willow Springs. Everyone was on auto-drive for the first two laps. Some guy was stuck in the pit the entire time. Then he dropped and the race started like normal. A bunch of people just drifted off the track (myself included) because they were AFK or not paying attention. I still managed to finish in second place, although it was a close call because on the final turn another driver intentionally ran me off the road. It was one of the dirtiest moves I've ever seen from another driver. And, of course, he was too much of a coward to stay in the chat after the race. Some people are just unbelievable.

Obviously plenty of people do care, otherwise forums like this wouldn't even exist. And the fact that you're here proves you care as well. Drop the too-cool-for-school act, because nobody is buying it my dude.

Anyway, here is the video of that dirty move from Willow Springs:

And I somehow got a six second penalty. Ridiculous.

For a move like this I could unterstand a brake check as retaliation.

Ugh. Tonight's not my night. Got bumped off track first lap of first race then proceeded to run of track twice more anyways. :yuck:

Second race got a bad case of the lag on the first corner which bumped me to the back from fourth then a disconnect right as I went into the pit.:irked:

Big Willow is not treating me well. One more try then I'm out
