All racing is just a game, twissy doesn’t have to say anything else. He felt he was being held up and owned exactly what he did and why he did it. Are you expecting an apology??

Being held up? No, that was racing. And because he was "held up" gave him the right to be a prick about it, and then claim it's just a game lmao.

His actions on track stank, as did his comments about it on here.

I only said in a thread a few days ago I let him through as to not hold him up (because he'd copped a penalty, and ended up off track) out of respect that he was quicker. That respect is gone, and if he finds himself behind me in future, he will have to race for his position.

I just want to say that everytime I came across @RaceFace85 he treated me with respect and although being a lot faster I never saw him force his way through but rather wait for me to wreck myself off :lol:

We all make mistakes sometimes, it's all good in the hood and on the race track :)
Watching RaceFace's video it does look a little bit like a dirty brake check from an obviously very frustrated Twissy- but surely we can all relate to that frustration!

Three Race A’s for me so far. Starting in the top 5. 1st Race I screwed up the first turn and finished 11of 12. The next two races went better, finishing 3rd and 4th. My last race had a very dirty Driver in it. Other than that, it’s been good for me today so far.
 
Delete post - unnecessary daily race moaning, plus race B is good fun.

Veyron. The Lexus and Viper are ok but can't match it.

I tried with the Lexus but it's needs CSA for me so if I was actually racing I'd have to learn to drive the Veyron.

It honestly didn't look intentional as he literally stopped a car width from the outer edge of the track which is actually where you should have been. You're the trailing car with an overlap, you can't block his line with your nose like that however you are obligated to the outer edge of the track. That being said, he should have seen you and edged towards the outside instead of ramming you.

Now that the M4 is no longer flavour of the month, that's what I'll be circulating in :D. I tried it yesterday at Big Willow, and whilst it wasn't as comfortable at the Viper, I was getting better times. It reminds me of the RSR in Gr3

Something I've noticed with the added cars, is that they are used for some Sport Mode races in the weeks after they've been added, but when the next update happens, those cars are just gone into the pile of ignored cars.

Mr2? Supra '88? Diablo? F1500T?
 
In just one day I tanked my Sportmanship down from S to B ..
Monza Gr1 of all tracks ...:banghead:
And I kept hoping that next race would be different but got SR dings as collateral damage in the first chicane constantly ...:banghead:
I have now taken a break and ready to get back I think.
This weekend will be dedicated to getting up to S again.

Managed to sneak an NSX to today's Race B leaderboards huehue
Feel the pain I felt when I bought the NSX for it to only fail me >:3
(jk the Gr. 4 NSX is actually competitive)
 
I don't know if there has already been a poll about car preference for the dailies...
What would you choose? The metacar or something else (provided you have the given meta in your garage, of course)

When I started playing I preferred the meta car but a few months later I had my favorites in each group and decided to play with them instead of the meta cars....well, now I'm back at the meta simply because some cars are better than others on certain track and the main reason for this is the gear ratios.

By the way I decided to give a try to the Lexus RC-F GR4 today and I must say the car feels great - it doesn't lose grip at all when going over the curbs, it has a really nice speed on the straights and I find it pretty nice when it comes to handling :) On Europe's charts for Dragon Trail the meta car seems to be the Veyron

Not too bad. I managed to put down a 1:09:303 only using default ABS. I’m sure you and most others on this forum can smoke that in a minute! Good racing.
 
Just finished Race B. I'd like to say the M4 was imperious, but it's me behind the loud pedal and that's never a good thing :sly:. I was pretty happy with the M4, and whilst I did nervously back off slightly threading the needle a couple of times, I did manage to go through the bus stop for two of the 4 laps following the Drift Alliance mantra "Never Lift!" :scared:.

Started 10th, found my way up to 5th, got bashed around, lost more SR than I'm happy with (down to 84) and finished 9th. Just another day in the lower ranks :dopey:.

I doubt it, the way things are going for me at the moment! I've also only played the B variant once and didn't click for me like the A did...

Glad the combo works well though :)
 
Will be doing B for sure later, love the Atenza and usually pretty good at dragon trail but not easy to get through the bus stop with that car, need to get my SRS back first though!!
