Couldnt get below 1.37 on dt tonight so lower midfield most races and made silly mistakes pushing too hard so dr and sr plumeted. Dr drops so fast and so hard to get back!
 
How can this game have changed so much in two weeks? I’m getting penalties for people divebombing me all the time. Also how are these other players enjoying themselves? Most of them seem like they’re angry bastards, they way they drive looks stressful

...not mine, they’re far too soft...

Anyway, I’ve got 2 wins tonight, that’s the only positive. Massive negative is being reset to D/E, penalty system is very flawed. The particular race that knocked me all the way down to 1SR was an absolute ram fest. Getting penalties for being rear ended on apexes what’s that about :(

Well, it was clean and then this happened !!

In terms of track penalty, there couldn't be one. I've taken a bigger bite out of those corners than you with no penalty. I'd say it was a penalty for contact.
 
I had a look at the replay of my Big Willow race the other day. I was feeling bad about tapping someone off. I don't feel so bad now. Turns out the when I pulled over, off the racing line and slowed to allow him to regain position, the person that not nudged, but smashed me off the track, was that joker!

I assumed it was for contact but this guy was driving into me in my opinion. No ?

From my experience, the way the penalty system seems to work is that if there is contact, the person on the inside is likely to get the SR penalty. He was looking a bit wobbly, where as you were stable and following a predicable line, so he *should* have been able to determine where you would be going, but in the heat of battle....

You got that penalty because the game registered you as hitting the other car causing it to go off track, even though you were turning right - the angle of contact sent the other player off.
 
Made two race B yesterday and had some wierd situations that really disturbs me.
It was about 5-6 times that a car in front of me went of the track, not much but driving approximately 100m on gras/sand resulting in waving around till the car got stable again.
But what i don't get is the reason that they don't lose any time in these situations.(i couldn't get any closer to them)
Is there any helps they are using?(i'm using no helps exept ABS)
When the same happens to i have to get of the throttle and lose time, or i stay on throttle and spin out.
Seen this from time to time, but yesterday it happend quite often in front of me.
 
Some great, close and clean races in the B race today in B/B & eventually B/A matchings.

After the crash fest that was last weekend, I got 5 clean races in a row today, 5 CLEAN RACES!!!! What was more satisfying is that I generally started from around 14th to 9th on the grid, and finished around 3rd or 4th every time.

As it got closer to 9pm I didn't wanna push my luck and go for a 6th clean race in a row, so I quit, opened a bottle of wine and watched Live P.D.

Man, I love racing on Dragon Trail in the Atenza. When it's clean!

Atenza racers we are. We are the odd one on the grid today.:cheers:
 
Yeah, the grids were mainly made up of Lambo's and Bugatti. Meta car.....boring!

I've been Atenza since day 1, and I 'hate' seeing this car becoming so popular; I really liked to be the sole weirdo on the grid :)
 
Dragontrail at night, much better than earlier during the day. I had a lot of great races in very fast rooms. My 1:45.5 qualify time only got me 6th place on the grid. The Veyron is great on that track. I lost 4K DR playing DT in the afternoon / early evening, made it all back at night. Zero sum game in the end. Plenty fun though and no big SR hits on DT for a change. Still maxed!

Nurb is back for tomorrow, not sure how I feel about the TT cup... It will do, it's nurb day again :)
 
Pffft... the wife has buggered off to Manchester for a marathon, i have a whole weekend of GT sport and it starts with these? Am I the only person who hates the ring? The last event on driving missions is a 4 lap race around the hateful place and i've gold in every event up to that but just cant bring myself to tackle it... guess i'll have to learn Suzuka properly today instead. Last night's B race at Dragons Tail was a car crash, but so bloody compelling! i'm normally SR S but i got as low as C last night but kept going back for more as i love DT. I changed my greeting to "can the ham munchers behave themselves?" after being deliberately slammed into the wall 3 times by some cured meat loving chap and from then on EVERY person who rammed me off was a fellow Brit instead! just goes to show eh?
 
Standing start on race C again today ;). Just had a wee go as usual the first corners a crash fest, only a couple of drivers with no penalty by the end. Was surprised how many pitted was left scratching my head a little.
 
Started from the bottom with my ratings and to my surprise Dragon Trail races were all very clean. Nobody wanted to bump like the last few days. I think I did 5 or 6 races. All very clean. Got 1:46:4 with Citroen and was the only non Veyron/Huracan in the top5 in those races.

Todays races are all skippable :(
 
Wasn't expecting exactly those tracks to be honest :) The problem is the ONE MAKES actually, not the tracks itself, anyhow it seems that I'll go for Suzuka :)
 
Might actually give numb a go today, if I don't get bored before I finish

I would literally commit suicide before taking out a fellow brit. Brings tears to my eyes when I don’t get the same respect. I don’t get angry, I get upset. I’ve even had occasions where a Brit was in the lead and me behind, and whilst faster than him I thought, no, we’ll go across the line together, as friends. All sorts of weird war mentality s##t going on.
