I hate scenarios like this one:

Last lap on Suzuka, and the guy behind gets close to me coming up to 130R. He's to my inside just barely overlapping my rear bumper. I think he'll back out since in my mind it's stupid to try to go through there side by side. Instead, he keeps right there up to the apex.

My choices are to keep my speed and take the corner and crash, back off and give him space while still risking a crash, or keep speed and give space and completely miss the corner.

I hate these because even though there is no contact, I've pretty much already lost the position.

It might be a consolation that even the all-time greats of this sport didn't always know how to handle this chicane in a 1v1 race situation. It also shows that human race stewards don't prevent drivers from feeling to have been treated unfairly. :)
 
Had a decent Maggiore race, finished 5th in the 4C. Loving the car again after the BoP boost.

Some crazy guy in 2nd tried to serve a penalty on the straight going into the final lap with 3rd and 4th not far behind. 3rd tried to go inside and 2nd veered over and smashed 3rd into the corner, causing 3rd to lose time and 4th to spin out. There seriously has to be changes to make SR S actually filled only with people who try to race clean. I liked the idea someone had of community-sourced race stewards that can vote on penalty events.
 
set 2:06 on Lago and Panorama, dunno which one is give me more advantage. Still doesn't find good replacement for M4 after new BoP and bad at night :confused:

My SR already dropped from 84 to 1, I’m back up to 60 now. I will not be participating at Mount Panorama :lol:

SR down to 1 that's worse than mine on Friday evening. I got knocked down to 46, but by the end of the evening I was back up at 96

Had nightmares about it, for 3 days kept seeing clowns jumping from the side walls on the downhill esses!!

Today I decided to just do some time trials on it.
My previous record was 2:04.380 at day...
First lap I did I went to 2:04.600... did a few more and managed a 2:03.8xx ... I couldn’t believe!!
Decided to enter the race... super scared of the clowns!!

Managed 6 wins so far in 6 very clean races!!

I need a break... I've been getting shortcut penalties almost every race now, as well as going to the grass :(

Last time I raced Mount Panorama at night didn’t went well
Got hit so many times and had to quit after two races!!

Last time they had a night race at Bathurst, I didn't know it was a night race. Tried to qualify but couldn't see where I was going! N24 at night was so much more pleasant.

I mean I get 10+ seconds behind top 10, and I'm usually within 5-6 xD

How do you guys manage with getting decent times in gr 4 rc f, it feels super sluggish for me for some reason, especially coming out of turns.. :/

I mean I get 10+ seconds behind top 10, and I'm usually within 5-6 xD

Really? For me it's the turn in that's sooo sluggish :indiff:
Under trail braking it understeers like a pig. I don't know what exactly I'm doing different right now but the car just suddenly clicked to me and now I can drive perfectly with it :lol:
Didn't change the BB either :p
 
So something strange happened. All custom liveries disappeared and i am convinced the tcs was acting very strange. Hung on the warm up but managed to race...
 
I gave pre-qualifying a go at Bathurst. I had a hard time choosing a car. For some reason my GrB NSX wasn't coming up as an option....:odd:

I did notice that there seemed to be a difference in illumination between cars. I could see the track better with the RSR than some of the other cars I tried. I only just started to claw back some SR, so no chance am I doing a night race there! Looks like Race B for me tonight. :dopey:
 
Oh my, the places where people try takeovers are just insane on Lago today. Promptly dropped 40 sr in 2 races. I mean, they slam from behind or from inside and I get 4s penalty rofl
 
Having raced the Nordschleife in the Mazda when Gr. 4 was on, I thought all complaints about the TT being boring were exaggerated. But I found out they were not. While the Mazda comes to live when you're driving it on the limit (apperantly my limit, not the car's limit looking at the top 10 leaderboard), the TT is just stepping out and understeers. And then this sound, I could use it to bring my baby daughter to sleep...

Yesterday I started to play late (as usual, when my family is asleep) and was a bit tired myself. I did one qualifying lap in the TT and then another while having joined the race and backed out again as I was literally falling asleep. Then changed to Suzuka and my favourite Gr. 3 car which is the AMG (so you see I don't have anything against stable cars per se) and went to bed 3 races later - not because I was tired, I wasn't anymore, but because it was late.
