Edit: just did a few laps and down to a 1.09.003 not perfect but a big improvement.

Well I do have the "Ultra rare" Top Draw Drifter trophy :dopey:. Ultra rare I suspect because only a few nut cases are crazy enough to qualify for it :lol:. A bit like Willow Springs yesterday :eek:.

I gave up on drift after lv2. Probably because its a 🤬 chore.

Steering sensivity to 6 or 7, Dai's BRZ or an RWD Gr.4 car (86 or Vantage) at Suzuka east should make 30k-ish a run. Or do it on some rally stages, it's even easier apparently.
 
I have the million points :)

Just used the GTR on one of the Maggiore sectors which was good for 10000 per go. Tip: turn driving line on :)

The R.S.01 feels really weird though... Based on my speed on corners (all phases from entry to exit), I feel like I should be at least 5-6/10ths faster in this car than the others, but if anything I'm struggling to beat the time I got previously with the Lexus :banghead:

First race tonight, the village. I tried the fake six pre-qualifying and decided it felt comfy enough to not bother with anything else. Qualified P8. Due to some screwups and a massive spin I finished P10. I had 1 contact which pushed someone off track when they suddenly braked mid corner. I suspect an attempt to stay on the track. Got an orange SR and a 3s penalty. Lots of green SRs but not enough to erase that one contact. Down to SR 88 and quite a few DR down. I can see I'm headed for DR 1 in the near future :O.
 
On the 'grid' screen before a lobby starts, I have disconnected in 3 consecutive daily races. I've restarted my internet, plus other games work just fine. GT also never says there is a network problem at any other point. Anyone else having this issue?

It's the servers, some odd behaviour today when I was racing. Also 8 people were dc'd or quit before the warm up in one race so there was only 12 racing instead of 20.
 
Well, third on the leaderboard, 1:58.6, And started second ( doh! ) to @VP_Patohm by a tenth. Got to say what a clean driver, super close all the first lap, slipstreamed and made a pass stick into 130r ( his driving made that possible without a penalty ) but then spun off through the same corner trying to build a gap on lap 2. Back again in an hour to try again :)

Man, I'm an ex-smoker too... just over a year... I reckon it would help a lot with Sport Mode.

What is your PB at Suzuka out of interest?

2:01.356, I’m over a second slower after 30 mins qualifying.
