And this was a DR=B and SR=S race...


Sick of this...
In the end i was last (17th) with a clean race bonus, even if i hit the Audi i still managed to avoid any penalty...
 
Have anyone seen 4500 Dr. points anywhere? I seem to have misplaced them yesterday...

The DB9R is decent on Monza, terrible at Suzuka.

Wish me luck everyone, trying Monza in race C, good bye S/R? Currently D/R B, S/R A.....

Edit: Lost 26 manner points down to S/R B now, the race was fairly ok the penalties where pretty fair to be honest mainly due to my lack of skill driving the Redbull was only my 1st race in it and i finished 10th.

Its a standing start and tire wear is fairly high at 11 times, i span up a bit off the line even with traction on 2 and this compromised the tires for the rest of the stint. I had to 2 top but took no fuel at either 1 and because the leader was so mush faster i didn't have to do full distance as i was lapped at around lap 10 i think.

Much as I'd love to race Monza with senior, if it's anything like jr, I'm not ready to race it in public!
 
I think it handles a bit better than the Redbull junior however i am having to do a few race A's now to try and get my manner points back. I will definitely be having another go in a wee bit.
 
I went down about 4K DR yesterday on Suzuka. I didn't have time to put into qualifying nor like qualifying anyway so always started 15th to 18th. I made up plenty of places during the race yet that's never good enough. Best finish was 4th in the last race when most of the fast people had gone to bed, it seemed match making was scraping the barrel, I started 8th in front of all C/S and D/S.

So now I only have 38K to lose on Monza :) Actually only 31K as I think 7K is still the lowest reset. Yeah I have few hopes I'll survive the red bull challenge today, yet I'm going to race anyway.
 
It's days like this when I love and hate gt sport. Beat my best by a couple of hundreths for a 1:54.8 again. But my optimal is 1:54.4/5. Try as I might i keep messing up or losing time in the last chicane whenever I'm 3 tenths up on my best :banghead:. Giving up an going racing now :lol:

That chicane is really annoying, so easy to slow down too much or cut too much and get a penalty.

I did Suzuka twice yesterday and I have proof that allocated race numbers are arbitrary and not as Robben suggested, an indication of where GTS thinks you should finished based on points. Kinda wish they would let us use our own numbers. Why have it in the livery editor if we can't use them?:dunce:

Anyhoo, just finished BB. It was a nice Sunday drive (yeh, I know it's not Sunday). I thought I had a pretty good handle on the Beemer, and was doing smooth transitions, but still qualified 2nd last... only because last place didn't qualify! So P10, finished P8. Saw some carnage, kept out of the faster cars way, which was hard because they seemed to be taking up *all* the space I gave them. :crazy:

Lost some DR but it's my 18th consecutive day above DR 1! As a bonus I'm back to SR 99! :gtpflag:

Ahh tell me about it! The problem is the last time we raced gr3 at the nurburgring I think the lap was ok but I did the chicane the best I ever have, And even though I'm quicker everywhere else I can only match my time after losing a couple of tenths through there...

It's based on your DR rank, however it is bugged and sorts alphabetically... meaning that 7000 is greater than 50000 and therefore a C ranked driver with 7000 will have a lower door number than an S ranked driver with 50000, and a D ranked driver with 4000 will have a lower door number than a B driver with 20000. It only affects ranks sub 10000 points, so from B upwards it works across the board

That's totally messed up, but explains why qualifying 11th with A's and Bs above me got me a #1. Same deal with #2. Still wish we could just run our own numbers :(.
 
I's the same as if you sort files or folders in windows by name (i.e it sorts alphanumerically as opposed to by number), in which case 20,000 would come before 90 but after 100,000.
 
did everyone lose tons of DR yesterday or something? like 3 s/s guys on my friends list got reset to A/B and I lost 7k for seemingly no reason at all (one DC but you only lose like 2k for a dc right?)
