Only managed 2 races today, but at Monza in the Gr.4 and I loved them. Got a 2nd and a 3rd, 2nd was after starting near the back due to poor qualifying and then the 3rd was after starting 5th. Good clean racing from the guys around me, fair and tactical in the hard braking zones and down the straights. Didn't see much carnage over all tbh, although most seemed to have red dots at the end of each race.

Finally had another enjoyable night racing getting wins in a pair of Lexus RC F's. Gr2 at Suzuka was really fun after being punted off while running near the front in the couple races. Can't wait for the next Gr2 race. First time driving these cars in GTS and the grip is unbelievable. Taking 139R flat out is quite the rush.

Then it was on to BB as Races A & B aren't really appealing today as I finally got back SR/S and would like to stay here awhile. Playing with the fuel map I was able to get a few podiums finishes and a win. Would have beat an alien (Turismo-lester) but ran out of fuel coming out of last corner while leading and finished third. :banghead::banghead::banghead:. May never get that opportunity again. Shout out to Nando deBem who I had some good races with.

Turismo-Lester is a beast. He always seems to be on and in the same races as me everyday. What is your PSN? I wonder if we have raced a few?

So I'm pretty sure I figured out why your replays won't upload even though you didn't cancel them. The game takes your best lap replay regardless of it was a valid or invalid lap time. So for instance if you get a penalty for cutting a corner too much and continue on with the lap and set your best time, the game will throw away your previous best and won't overwrite the invalid one until your run a valid one that is faster. The leaderboards will not show invalid lap replays, which explains why I've had a couple of my replays here recently not upload.

Today it happened again and I figured out that every time it has happened I had ran a faster invalid time than my best. The game no longer recognizes your fastest clean lap at that point. I confirmed this by hitting the "save my best time replay" button at the top of the screen and sure enough it doesn't save the time that made the leaderboards it saves the lap where I got a penalty for corner cutting. This is also how I lost my replay of my PB at Nurburgring GP the other night. I ran a 1:54.521, but because I had ran a invalid 1:54.414 the game never even saved it to begin with. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

So if you see someone on the leaderboard without a replay available it is most likely a result of this and not due to them hiding or canceling it for whatever reason. Now, as for the why the game does this? Who the hell knows. It makes absolutely no sense why the game even acknowledges invalid lap replays.

I was in the top 10 a couple weeks ago and crashed to blue screen as I was exiting qualifying. It posted my Q time, but my replay never appeared the entire day. I never knew there was even a way to cancel your replay from others seeing it, although I have noticed some are not viewable occasionally.

Chevy_Heavy if you want to add me. I should be on again late tonight after work on Race C. I'm getting a nice DR boost from BB that's needed. Yeah I couldn't get my fuel map to change with the red ring on my G29 because you almost have to be going straight to get it to change and BB doesn't have much straights. I have since changed it to buttons so I won't have that problem again.

Wait, why can’t I adjust the BB on BB?

havent raced there but i don't think circuit BoP lets you mess with brake balance. or it might be specific to the toyota ft1 since i specifically remember not being able to change the bb on that on an oval

I was there, unlike the latest trends on ovals, racing was clean and fair. And I didn't miss the opportunity to beat the alien lol

I gave it one race at Monza. SR dropped to 95 after the first chicane pile up and I finished 2 places below my qualifying position but my DR went up by 66 points. How does that work?

DR takes into account the difference from your DR level to the other drivers, like, if you are a B on a room full of As and Ss, you can finish on midfield and get lots of points, if you are a B and tbe room is filled with Cs and Ds, if you finish on the midfield you will lose points, looking at it the simple way.

Pretty sure the entire race was all C/S. Well it was when it started anyway.

Had a great day at Monza :p

Spun once but no crashes or major penalty's or T1 knockouts and got my SR from 77 back to 99. Had the luxury of not starting lower then 3rd so that surely helped. Got some wins some poles and some good battles on track. Monza can be really good if you survive the first two chicanes.

Very clean race and yet sneaked the 2nd Place on the final corner of the final lap.Cool 👍

Thanks it was a good race :D

At first i was bit bummed he got by because he gave me a little bump twice in the chicane. But i'll have to give credit for that move in ascari. I thought for sure he was gonna fly off in the gravel but he pulled it off.

It's really tough trying to improve my DR at this point. I'm still a D having only run about 25 online races despite my speed being pretty good because every time I find myself getting punted off the track in races filled with other D rank drivers.

Today at Monza I qualified 6th with a bit of a sloppy lap only to be completely rammed from behind at T1 by someone who decided they didn't need to brake at all (I have no idea why they hit me and didn't ghost). I spent the next 3 laps playing catch up with a couple of good laps and got myself to 11th. Through the final chicane the guy in 10th got a bad run so I went to his outside only for him to turn hard right in the middle of the straight and send me crashing into the wall (again no idea why he didn't ghost) and a 14th placed finish.

Things like this have been a regular occurrence recently and are really killing any motivation to keep trying as my DR isn't moving despite my lap speed being well and truly good enough to be amongst B or C level drivers.

I am so done with idiots not knowing how to serve penalties. YOU DO NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAST CORNER AT SUZUKA! You pull to the side so there's space for another driver to get by, not be a blockage where you either run up their arse or go off the track. I decided to avoid the slow car in front and go off the track. I had no choice and I essentially gave up after that. AND THESE ARE GUYS WITH S LEVEL SR'S! I sometimes wonder how these people manage to get such a rank...

I crashed at least twice to someone served the penalty at the middle of chicanes at Monza. I know this is my fault not to notice the situation ahead though.

Had a couple good races with this BOLIK-GT guy. He was around the same pace and overtook me very nicely at the start. We then had a little fight until i unfortunately put a wheel on the grass the last lap :banghead: Could have defended a bit harder maybe but the main goal was getting back to 99.

I was amazed how the Ferrari kept up with the Veyron, Looked like it had the same straight line speed as you went down the starting straight.
Great racing, too bad you caught that grass!

I seem to remember you running out of gas in one race also. :D But yeah, I definitely let that one get away SMH.

Either qualify pole or don't do Monza. It's a Dr/Sr killer. The thing with Dr/D is that a lot of drivers have the ability to get up your rear end but not the control to brake in time to avoid you when you brake. Quite often they are so focused on just staying on the track that they arn't always aware of other drivers. The other thing is that if you are Sr/S you are more likely to be mismatched with higher level drivers. The moral is, be quick or be dead. ;)
