So getting rid of penalties is going to happen after corners a lot now, they don't think things through very well. At least people slamming on at the end was predictable, now you've got to be ready at all times. At least the update added a notification of a player having a penalty, so you'll have a good idea someone may try it at some point, one small improvement.

Would be nice if someone gets below a certain speed outside of braking zones they were ghosted. Might make it a bit less of a problem?

You can't burn a penalty on the final straight any more. Presumably to prevent the blockades and people randomly braking hard just before the finish line.

Yes you can, or at least I did on Race B this morning. I pulled over to the far right of the track, and just before the finish line slammed the brakes on and squashed my 2.6 second penalty. Crossed the line without losing a position and no additional time.

I had 2 of those races on the last 2 days... on the 1st.. offenders were from JAPAN (Asia AREA) Tsukuba race, on the last .. yesterday.. major Ofender was an Italian jerk (Dragon´s tail...) I got 2 races with the dude... on the 1st he started with SR S.. and he finished the 2nd with SR D ... And he made me drop from S to B ... as at a certain time... I simply entered "Mad Raging Revenge Mode-Let´s take no prisioners..." :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I'm surprised no one uses the new Toyota... It's literally the only thing filling up the leaderboards in Asia :lol:

And is this new car performance accordingly to that... popularity in Asia?? (or it´s simply because it is like the "most wanted" car on Earth for them??)
 
The GRS pulls like nobody's business too. A player had the red dunce cap over the car and fell about two seconds behind me in the Lancer. With no draft, the thing was to the right of me, all the way to the last corner and just zoomed right by on the straight.

Can somebody tell me how its possible that after a week of S rating without any red i can get kicked back to B in 1 race with sloppy S drivers on Dragon Trail? 2 times i crasht because people didnt take the s corner right and i crasht into them because of that. And 1 time i was in the inside and somebody crash into me from the outside is over correcting and crashes into the wall.

1 race S to B?!

Ow and S drivers please dont be so stupid and arrogant on track and sometime admit your not as fast as you think and make room a bit instead of 4 laps defending on the most stulid ways.... So now racing back to S before 1900 FIA race....

It can't all be on other drivers being at fault for your misfortune. As a S driver, shouldn't you be anticipating this stuff?

Argh I can't use that, too slow in straight and really need doing flow to carry speed. I'd prefer use RSR now than any FR surprisingly after this patch MR is driveable with my DS4
 
Boy, I tanked my SR from 99 down to A in one single race. My best track Interlagos did this to me ....
I got some really strange penalties and the race was just minutes before the maintenance window so I hoped that the data base would miss this race .... but no ...:banghead:🤬
Back to the wheel today in One Make in Race A to try and claw myself back ...

No dailys for me today. My throttle thumb was screaming after trying to tame a 1000+ bhp roach with sports tyres in GT league. Last night I took on Bathurst. Once with the M4 and again with the Viper. The M4 is pretty comfy across the top of the mountain but I had to pull over and wave good by to anything on Mountain Strait and Conrod. It was nice to do a couple of races without getting Mostert'd at the Dipper or Forrest Elbow.

It was good while it lasted, but one more race and its back to DR 1 for me!

It really seems that the Penalties improved a bit.
I did the Gr.4 Race C and got pushed from all sides and especially in the back. I ended with a win and a clean race bonus :)
Also some slight contacts in Race B without any consequences and green SR ratings.
And the Penalty info over others is really nice, but a little distracting IMO.

But so far so good 👍

Yes but i cant anticipate when people drive into a wall if iam close behind them its that S corner close to the walls. The last situation there i could brake but again he was not in a position to drive his car to the inside because he braked to late .....

But what i dont get that after 25 S rating races you can fall in 1 race to B.

No you can't that close. I don't know about how you fell to B. I do know you will easily get back to S.
 
Jeez, the few Race B's I've done today (DR/B SR/S) have been dirty, and the main culprit seems to be the new Supra!
 
Ill give up..... By one dirty ass bavk to B in one race and after that dirty races everytime and now iam C. I like this track allot with Gr3 so thats a shame....

Sometimes and this is no rand but i can brake the DISC because of these days.....

Did the yellow flag come out because you were going so slow or because someone else went off or slowed down? That could be why it didn't drop because penalties don't go down under yellow flags.

Maybe if someone decided to do a spin across the finish line, but I wasn't really paying attention so I didn't notice if that's the case. I've never had a yellow pop from me slowing at the line before. Just a weird incident.

Well, this answers my questions and is very upsetting. It's tough to drop a penalty during the race without sacrificing a lot more time than is needed.
