Its a cool track but once you add other cars it becomes risky, every race is a gamble easy to bet pushed onto the grass when someone tries to overtake you where its very dodgy. I had one bad race as mentioned above second one all went well got back the 9 S/R point I dropped on my 1st go and finished 4th this is with C/S drivers.
 
Annoyingly I’ve got into the top ten in EU region this morning on Brands plus my opt is a 1.38.00 so can improve my time and I have no time to race! :banghead:
 
Did a few races today on Brands Hatch and the penalty system is actually the same **** as before (SR S) - I got 5 seconds of accumulated penalties due to slight bumps either by me or the guy behind me, but not a single one of those bumps disrupted either mine or his racing line, but the stupid system keeps penalising both players...

N24 looks like it's ready to rain. Does this mean if my pit crew messes up re-fueling I can change to wets at the last minute and win? So far just pre-qualifying. I know the race isn't going to have as much grip as qualifying. I predict chaos at my end of the scale :odd:.

Not that chaos compare Dragontail and Tsukuba last night in asia, well we still have that guy but much lesser than last N24H mix. Still finding good car for me RSR is fun on Nords area but I almost always spin in Karussel :lol:

Be very gentle on the throttle, enter with less than 100kph and accelerate when you can drive straight out of the corner ;)

Only have better result with RSR, join using both RCF become really messy :crazy:
 
Umm, what the fraggerknackle bull, is this?



That blue M4 was next to me in the pits. It went out for warm up and immediately reappeared in the garage next to me, with hazards flashing. Then, the above happened.

1.28 is good, have low1.28 in me but find this track frustrating to hook up the ‘perfect’ lap. Always seem to be half a second at least of my optimal!

Yeh, the RSR can get a little squirmy, but it's still my preferred choice for N24. I found with the Karussell and corners similar, down to 1st, back off the throttle to almost off, coasting works too but when you can see the exit it's not as effective when you give it a boot full. I'm looking forward to taking the blackbird for a run after midnight, but not looking forward to the smash derby that I faced last time.

Just did Brands Hatch. I really should have done pre-qualify and took my time to get a decent qualifying time, but I didn't and qualified P12 with the M4. The matching was the usual lopsided affair, so if I gave it my best I think the best I could have hoped for was P8. Finished P11. I was potentially faster than that but I don't have the skill to capitalise and back off to avoid a collision.

DR didn't go down to 1 like I was expecting, SR went up a bit, and I got surprise clean race bonus. :D

First race I had the Top2 guys and some other fast drivers in it, but I got punted in every corner in Lap1. Ended up in SR A for no reason...
Second race it got even worse. Down to SR B in only two races, wow...

After 3 clean races and a win I'm back at SR S but lost a lot of points. Guess I'm not doing a 4 lap race on Brands Hatch anymore. People are just to eager to race clean in those B races.

But the Penalty system works better most of the time now. At least I dont get a second for every little touch now :)

I find shifting up 1 gear mid way through the carousel allows great drive off, with good stability and gets rid of having to hit the limiter on exit... find it more stable with a more efficient exit.

Are you sure we weren't in same races? Cuz mine were the same:D

I think something is messed up with penalties on that track because way too many grasscutters get unpunished while the other driver they use as brake gets penalty.

Think I'll stay out of it as well for today..

Currently 2nd on leaderboard for Daily Race B at Brands.

It really is!! Fantastic car round that track handling is perfect for it. It’s one that I am happy to do lap after lap just trying beat my time!
 
Raced in Brand. While got consecutive clean race bonus. I found SR keep going down from S to A. Anyone experience the same.:confused::confused::confused:

Yes, my SR dropped to B, managed to get it up to A but it will take me some time to make it S again, as I said in my previous post - the penalty system is a total ****, just like before, got pole position, the guy behind me hit me - I got 1 sec penalty, he had 10, the 3rd guy passed us, a lap later the third guy hit with the new leader, and he didn't get a penalty, which cost me my win... not to mention that I had 4 races where I had slight bumps and got penalties as well - and all those bumps didn't spin me or anything...that's racing, not getting 532 hours of penalties just because someone looked at your car......
 
Anyone want to share the secret to these sub 1'27.6 or so times then. :lol: Maybe I could have improved to a 1'27.9 if I was very lucky but the 1'28.100 reflects my ability pretty well, I just don't have the gift to go alien speed and yet I'm comfortably faster than a lot of other guys. :boggled::lol:

Nurburgring was really dirty, guys pushing everywhere, braking at stupid places ... What a fest.
