Yep I agree Ash32 I found the 4C too loose at the rear in the race for me at any rate, and it caused me to make too many silly little mistakes and ended up down in 13th. Going to try the Lancer I have a feeling I may fair better.

Hi guys what you using for Brands today? Done a few laps in the 4C and got a 130.473, I am not sure if its any good car for the race distance though think the rears wear and make it a handful?

4c is the best car at Brands and qualifying times will be in the low 27's by the end of the day... it has very good rotation/turn in, and doesn't get hurt by it's relative lack of straight line pace too badly here.
 
Stotty that may the case but I can't get the best out of it, crashed off twice when I used it, used the Lancer and got an easy 6th. I am only a B/S player. Just looked and there is already a Alfa in the 1.27's
 


I had a really fun, relatively clean race yesterday in the Supra. Didn't get a penalty for a few minor bumps, which was nice

Yes I tried some others, but the 4c fit for me the best in BH.

Btw, thanks for the fair race today, you were right behind me until pit. Our paces were more or less the same, but I think you could have been a tick quicker. Esspecially at the last left turn on the infield you gained at least about 1 or 2 tenth always.

Hey there are two.:sly: I'm actually one of the guys in 1'27's and I'm not totally comfortable with the 4C in the race and this Spanish guy keeps beating me with pit strategy, I wonder if he's not taking tyres, that would certainly explain it and just show what a great job he's doing with no major errors.👍

Of course if the real aliens were on I'd be getting stuffed by them by about half a second a lap I'd guess and that's if I don't make mistakes. :O
 
@GunnarStahl I hope you reported him for interfering with the race because that's unacceptable. Not that I know if reporting works but when it's clearly intentional like that and you know for certain who it was then that's perfect for report time. We don't need drivers like that in the game.

Didn't know you could report people in this game. I guess it needs to be done in the post-race menu?


Anyways, also had a decent 3-way battle for position in the last laps of a race

Yes after the end of the race click their name and you can report. Only do this if you know for sure who was doing it and that it was on purpose, like in that video.

real reason why I stop racing today, this one is too stupid even for shake the penalty time he can do in straight area. Not saying I totally right tho since I little bit late turn and give little space to him for turn. Well I wouldn't to turn right at that moment cause I already experienced at same area when I evade that I'll spin out and get penalty for out the track.
 
Grabbed another W at Lagos with a Q time of 32.5xx. Unfortunately it is finals week for me, so I have to take off for most of the day.

Even though I won, I got wrecked in T1 in another race and my Dr fell. As of this moment, this is the third day in a row I've fallen in Dr since I became Dr B again. I definitely won't ever be a Dr A+ driver :( I've totally plateaued in the last several weeks...

Huh. The guy I've been chasing to race all day now appears. Maybe I'll do some more races

Last time I was matched with him he quit during matchmaking. Talk about rude :grumpy:

sort of also why I went out of my way to set that lap time

Had a nice race though. I lost my edge and was running low 1:32s, and this guy behind me was really aggressive. On the home straight he made a move on the outside. Usually what I do is I block the inside to force them out (which I did), and then sling back as much as I can to the outside without hitting the other car when we're now side by side. I expected him to move to the racing line but he didn't presumably to squeeze me inside, so yeah I hit him :( sorry :(
On the final lap though he was second and not far behind, so I gave the position

Just broke my PB at Interlagos by 0.3s which I am happy. :yuck: Though it is embarrassing to share my time here with @Alpha Cipher ridiculous fast lap time :bowdown:

Don't be! I think seeing improvements to your PB is better than the times themselves :D
I've slowed down at improving my PBs recently, and some tracks I even fail to do so, so for me your achievements are as good as mine :cheers:

Out of the Top 10 now though (11th). Honestly I didn't expect that I'd hang there for so long :lol: it was fun while it lasted :)

I usually use it for qualifying but then switch to something with better straight pace since I found people taking me over on straights with ease.. Like Meganes for instance.
 
I like it in the race too. 1: it looks cool 2: the sliding on worn tires is fun 3: it's not much of an overtaking track so the straight line speed isn't so important, you can just sit and wait for people to drive into the sand pits, which they generally will
 
4c always seem to handle very different for me in the race. On rails in qualifying, but during race it handles like a different car but I do like it.
