@ivann Why didn't you go fully to the inside on that last turn? Especially when that driver had previously made contact with you. Had you done that you may have been able to save it if they hit you or they would have likely gone to pass you around the outside which would not have worked out. You put your car in a perfect place for them to bounce off you and profit. You've got to do everything possible to make it hard for dirty drivers to be dirty and win, otherwise you'll be a victim of them a lot. ;)
 
Those were all DR.B drivers and below. He was eager to win against DR.A+.
I was just having relaxed race with no pit stop and addapting to wheel and new camera.
I wanted to point out that saying "I´m sorry" at the end screen is bizarre if you pushed someone 2-3 times in the last lap.

Easy thing to say being a universal phrase in GTS. Total bs.

Anyone know if a load of the aliens turned up eventually late last night/early this morning and knocked me out of the top ten (EMEA region) at Race C at Brands Hatch or not? :cool:

Since this may be the only place I'd ever end the day in the top ten, now if I could just get the first part of the lap right I'd be proper quick here at least. 💡

Don’t think they did, didn’t run any laps last night but had a quick look at the boards and you were up there still. About 4th I think, and this was after 10pm.

Not surprised either was a fairly alien lap time you got!!

Yeah, going wide against dirty driver is almost guarantee punt.
That's also why he got no penalty for that last corner, he was on the inside and algorithm thinks that he did nothing wrong.

Yep, you're right - I'm trying to stick to the racing etiquette (changing my direction while defending only once - yes, I'm talking to you, Max Verstappen :D) but I noticed that if I go wide and leave space to a dirty driver he just punts me off, so I have two options, either going his way and block him by taking the inside line, which should not be allowed if I've already changed my direction once, or risk it and have my race ruined :) it's a tough decision

Yes it was good, even with that poor first sector but there are still quite the number of guys who can go quicker than that should they have the time and/or desire to do so.
 
Yesterday in C race in BH it was possible to get rid of the penalty in last lap last straight, but today in B race yamagiwa not :odd:
 
Had a good couple of races on Wagamamas, took the GTR out and qualified with a 1:35.323 which seemed not bad for a B rank (considering the top S times are only 1-2 seconds less) Climbed 3 places in one race and 6 in another :D

A bit of a shame though when a supposed B rank was in our lobby and had qualified a full 2 seconds ahead of everyone else, either they are having a very good day or it's another S rank who has tanked their 🤬 stats which seems to happening more and more often
 
I really enjoyed the Brands Gr4 Daily C yesterday. Lots of very close racing.

the last 4 laps of this race were very intense in particular. I was very surprised when the race finished to see i was 5th. Last time I looked up I was in 9th.



This lap was was also stressful. Somehow at the end of it I came out on top and without penalties despite 4-5 position changes.

If anybody thought that today's Nations is better than dailies then think twice.
Those barriers, especially at last S, are murderous:D:D
 
How’s the GR2 racing on Yamagiwa today ?
When I bought the Honda Raybrig I drove it on that track to try it and really enjoyed the cornering.
 
Racing in B/S on Yamigawa is actually pretty clean today. Some racers still have trouble handling the car and staying on track, but overall it's fine.

I started 14th and ended up 5th in one race due to some overtaking but a lot just falling off the track.

Still some weird penalties happening, or not happening.

Because some of them put the TCS at 0, you know the risks when you put the TCS at this number (especially on MR and FR cars)...
 
Oh yeah. I'm just using TC at 3 and it keeps the Nissan & Lexus pretty stable for my ham-fisted style of driving :)
 
Finally got a win (58) and pole (48) again after quitte some races and my first win in GR2 too on Yamigawa. Too bad I had to go to sleep :)

Pretty clean racing overall. I feel GR2 is pretty well balanced as I got similar times with all three cars. Nissan easiest to drive though for me and fastest with a 1.24.300 time in qualifing.

Shame I was disconnected from the Fia race. Was looking forward to that but my connection said no ;)
 
GR.2 on Yamigawa is pretty good. I build up a clean streak of 9 and finally managed a pole and win. Too bad I did one more race and spun, dropped from 2nd to 7th, luckily managed to avoid a penalty or any SR hits, however clean streak reset.

BB raceway and Alsace are not my favorites, so enough racing for today.
 
Grinded all day on the Gr.2 at Yamagiwa and finally achieved DR of A+. Don't I feel special...
