How long does it usually take to get from B to A?
It took me 4 hours or something like that after being reset to DR B and 40000 points. Some friends of mine went even further down after their reset tho, so you never really know what's going to happen to you. If there is a daily race where you set a good time (within 1 second of top 10) you should be able to just run away from the carnage but if you get trapped mid-field you're screwed :nervous:

05XR8 seemed to be having this problem earlier. He did find a fix I believe.

Wasn't it just a controller reset, using the hole at the back

@05XR8 can you please share your findings on this matter?

The problem still exists. It was a temporary fix. After a couple races, I still had to press down on the left stick and the steering would give more left hand lock.
I bought a new GT Sport special edition controller the next day. Paid $90, but I'm happy for now.

I got disconnected again at the very end of the next race while going to the result screen, luckily after the online save so SR and DR were save. However I wanted to report this ass:

As I come around the corner he's ghosted, the Canadian in the dark colored car. It looks like he got pushed out by the American in the blue car. I pass both, then the Canadian full on punts the American, who crashes into the Brazilian, who crashes into me. He takes out the American and the Brazilian, I barely manage to hold on and receive 2 sec penalty for what??? The Canadian ends up behind me, also finishes behind me in 8th. I can understand he's upset about getting pushed out and getting a penalty, yet that's no excuse to go play pinball.

Anyway not a bad race moving up 8 positions. The next race however was a dream come true.

Look at that lovely grid, everyone playing by the same rules!

Clean it was not, yet I avoided all of it and had one of the best races in a long time, jostling for positions with clean drivers, while the not so clean ones drove themself off before doing harm.

Yeah, go ahead and disappointingly stare at your feet stupid driver, that race was awesome!

Too bad I don't have time to race more, server will be down when I can get back on. Le mans tomorrow!

Seems to be a lag-related issue. (Though it doesn’t necessarily makes you feel better that you can’t avoid these, you did nothing wrong, you can not be more cautious if someone around you lags and travels impossible path.)

Well trying le mans gr1 qually and I am getting penalties if my inner wheels are on the rumble strip...anyone else? I think they changed the penalty system a little

Dunno how the BoP is but I was lapping 3:21~ in the sauber stock rh in the GT league race, and I was just learning the track. I wouldn't race it in a daily race though, it's pretty rough on worn tyres

Is racing any good on Le Mans or am I going to find it boring?

Just did 5 races at LeMans in the Porsche 919, A lot of fun, but some tight track limits. The 919 makes up time in the slow turns and loses a bit on the straights to the cars with a higher top speed. Not too much if you can catch a draft. This track begs for multi-class racing as the cars do tend to get spread out. Tried the Sauber C9 in practice, but didn't feel comfortable taking in the race. May try out some other cars after I get some sleep.

Man it's great to see the Group C back at Le Mans!

Only had time to do 2 races with the Nissan RC92. I'm not very good around Le Mans so was happy to just go into cruise mode. Lost ~2100 DR in the two races but it was worth it. My first race was toast before the first corner as another driver either forgot to turn or just didn't see me and I was digging my car out of the sand trap. At least I had a clear track for a bit whilst I re-learned the track.

From what I've seen, the "modern" Le Mans cars are quicker overall than the Gr C cars. I was getting killed in the corners (both corner and exit speed), but fast down the straight. The Gr C cars will probably be better suited to the no chicane version of Le Mans.

And yeah, as mentioned by others, the track limits are brutal!

eeeeeee......... So.... what about track limit in Lemans? there's the way too see that without using cones in race?
everybody in room get penalty cause that

I got pole and won at Circuit de la Sarthe. This is like my first victory out of 90+ starts. It felt so good and it also took long.

I won with the Porsche 919. Actually had a Sauber Merc C9 behind me. This car literally is fast on the straights but its advantage at the straights is negated in the corners and exits.

Sauber Merc C9 has no answer to the Hybrid boost. When I exit the corners the hybrid gives this boost where you take off. When it comes to the end of the straights it becomes too late for the Sauber C9 to overtake.

todays gr1 dailys aren't about the fastest guy, its about who tiptoes better around the track without getting a penalty. even if your car's "aura" is sensed by the curbs, instant penalty :banghead:
